Its Sacha who is partnering with Nastia he has been working with her as a substitute when Derek was unavailable. I've just been though a broken toe, let me tell you it is freakin' painful if he dances monday he should be the new Superman, there was a time I was crying and wanting my Mum that's how painful one little broken bone in your toe is. Erin made one vague reference to her boyfriends troubles on Monday, she asked Willow what she does on spring break and she answered 'stay home and read books' Erins reply was something like 'more people should do that'......

Oh, nuts. I follow Amy Purdy's Facebook page, and she just mentioned there's an 10 year DWTS anniversary special on Tuesday. And it doesn't sound like poor Derek will be able to participate!!! I feel so badly!

She posted this photo of her and others of Derek's partner...btw, double elimination on Monday.

Oh yea, I will do that....I guess it doesn't matter if it's live since it isn't the finals.

The most entertaining dance of the night, for me, was Noah & Sharna, I loved their 70s dance as much as Carrie Ann.

I didn't care for the Ninja dance, why did Mark allow Willow's beautiful face and hair to be completely covered? It seemed too dull, plus, as I've said, I don't care for his costume gimick choices.

Why does Nastia allow her hair to be piled in a big cow patty on her forehead like that? Very unbecoming, tho the dance was cute. Julianne had too much bare skin in the chest area showing, not necessary.

Not a fan of the dance off portion of the show.

    Shocking elimination!

I agree....I am sitting here with my mouth open!!! Better not say more until the West Coasters have seen it.....but really...who the heck is voting?

What I can say without giving anything away; I also thought they were very entertaining, fun dances. I enjoyed Riker, Chris, Rumer's dances very much, and for the first time, I actually liked Nastia's dance. Yes, Noah was awesome. I think Shauna should get tons & tons of credit for her choreography & they have a nice connection. I did NOT like Robert's dance at all.....they have kind of a creepy connection IMO (like 'get a room'). I wish that Mark would do some 'normal' dances....I think Willow is good enough that she doesn't need all the gimmicks (once or twice is fine, but not every single week). They end up distracting from the dancing.

I wonder why the changed the double elimination to next week?

Ruth, you're exactly right about Mark.Seems to me like the costume get-ups are Mark's "thing", whether or not it suits his partner. It's him indulging in his own creativity and I just don't care for it. It's one thing to break it out from time to time, but to bring it to the dance floor for every routine is tedious. It seems like it's his answer to trying to stand out in a different way than Derek.

I think that is exactly what the audience voters decided.....because Willow is a very good dancer. If it were going on dance ability, she definitely would not have been the next one cut. I can't figure out how Robert is still in it, Mark's weird costumes or not!

DWTS has an older audience and I think it is why the younger ones get voted off before some of the weaker but a bit older contestants leave. Robert, yeah, he doesn't do it for me. Lol. But, as a millionaire, maybe he's buying some votes

Ialso think the costuming had a lot to do with the elimination, weird is what they've been and last nights was awful. They anniversary show was a lot of fun, Maks and Meryl still have 'it' together they were the absolute highlight for me

hbcheryl, Max and Meryl really were glorious to watch. I loved the show but why couldn't ABC devote two hours to celebrate the anniversary? So many stars, so little time to cover it all. I loved the football players dance and Patti LaBelle rocked it with Amber and Lil Kim. Patti has such class

I had another commitment last night, came home thinking I could catch the end & was surprised that it hadn't been a 2 hour event. Sounds like I should go back and watch it.

    Hmmm.....I must be grumpy tonight....

    * if Robert isn't eliminated tomorrow night, I will throw something at the TV....I changed the channel during his second dance, too painful to watch

    * I muted Erin after awhile.....like fingernails on a chalkboard!

    * I liked Rumer & Nastia's dances, but not as much as the judges did; and I liked Riker's more than the judges did....

    * I think both Chris & Noah have gone as far as they can go (if the judging is based on the dancing)

    *  Does anyone know if it is on two nights a week from now on until the end of the season?

Ruth, I pretty much agree with your assessments of tonight's dances.

After Val gets a perfect score, Erin says, " are you happy?" Blah. Completely bland blah question.

I have to say, tho, that's the best her hair has ever looked. The white gown was pretty from the front, but why the cut outs on the side so her spanx were showing? Kinda weird.

Julianne: beautiful hair and gown. Carrie Ann looked smashing, too.

Riker just cracks me up. Loved his trio dance.

Hopefully, it's a toss up between Chris, Noah and Robert to go home. Not sure about the switch to two nights a week.

Julianne Hough Is Returning as a Dancer on DWTS!

by TIERNEY BRICKER Today 11:01 AM PD

    image

From cousin to judge to coach to dance partner!

Did y'all know Dancing With the Stars'Riker Lynch is actually Julianne andDerek Hough's cousin?! Yep, dancing clearly runs in the family!

And during tonight's show, fans are in for a treat as we can exclusively reveal Julianne will be dancing with Riker and his professional partner Alison Holkerduring their Argentine Tango and we cannot be more excited as we love Julianne's dancing just as much as her judging skills!

Of course, Julianne isn't the only judge getting in on the action, as E! News exclusively reported that, for the first time ever, each judge would be coaching one of the four remaining couples, choosing their song, dance and wardrobe. But it looks like Julianne took it one step further, joining the routine, too! "Len, Carrie and Bruno better watch out," Julianne warns in our exclusive video. "Just kidding, I love you guys!"

First, I want to say that Sharna has shown such depth of character and compassion towards her partner this season and I admire her greatly for that. I don't think Noah should go to the finals, but he's had a terrific run. I also think he proposed last night because the show's producers don't think he'll go further, and they wanted maximum positive impact without the downer of being eliminated on the same night.

Loved Carrie Anne's dress. Laughed When I first saw Erin, she looked like she was wearing the "big girl" version of the tooth fairy's dress. Love her shorter hair, tho, looks way better.

Demi and Bruce don't appear together, so I'm thinking there's some bad blood there. Love how Rumer's whole family turns out to support her, tho, and Demi talking with Erin was ultra fabulous.

The show last night was terrific. only wish Len had danced even longer with Nastia. That seemed like a send off for him.

I am bummed because I have a meeting tonight....boo hoo.....since it isn't the finals, I don't suppose I should make up an excuse to skip.....

Yes, Sharna is am absolutely lovely person inside and out and a brilliant choreographer . I am completely impressed with her. But really, Noah should be done tonight, technically the moves have gotten too difficult for him to pull them off.

I wasn't that excited by Rumer's dances this week, I liked Nastia's better than I have in the past, and I still love Riker. I really, really liked all the Judges Dances.....now I know why they are qualified TO judge! I was reaching for the Kleenexes myself throughout the night.

Sad to see her go, home votes did her in, I wish she could have danced longer with Len too and she had to deal with a new partner but I also think the judges were right, she didn't connect with Derek at all until last week.

We would have seen a spectacular final from Derek & Nastia, so I'm disappointed. Perhaps Noah's proposal tipped him over the edge to get in the finals. But, he was in jeopardy, so I'm thinking he becomes third runner up. I think home viewers also want to see an underdog win, and Nastia didn't fit the bill. With her Olympic gold medal and gorgeous looks, she's already a winner. Riker is still searching for a pot of gold in Hollywood, Rumer's had to deal with bullying about her looks, and Noah sacrificed so much for his country.

I think I favor Riker a bit, but will be happy to see Rumer win it also.

I just checked the TV schedule. It looks like Monday's show is only one hour from 7:00-8:00 (Central Time), followed by the premier of The Bachelorette. Tuesday, the Bachelorette is from 7:00-8:00 and the DWS finale is two hours from 8:00-10:00. I believe that, by some miracle, I will be home both nights!
