    Marin,

While I don't really like that show (it doesn't hold my interest like the one with Lili Taylor does - brain fart, can't remember the name of it!) I did see that episode and it was cute/funny. We ALL have gone through that constant hot flash stuff but when I did I didn't need a dildo or vibrator I needed a real man!

I'm with you, Jaybird! And I hope that Vivi gets it too...with that editor guy, ya know? The Lili Taylor show is called 'State of Mind.' Can you tell I'm addicted to TV...and it's all the sexy shows! Yeah.

    OMG- those legs, abs, etc...
I really have no libido left, but where does this lad live?
(and now as I look at his face, I think he was my first real boyfriend, when I was 16 yo, sorta that Sly Stallone look, where is he now?)

Hmmm...nice bod but I don't like his face. But then, who can see anything in the dark?

As for libido I'm not sure if I have one but sometimes I do get moved by looking at men so maybe I do?

I have to say that I think the l-arganine (sp?) works. I took it for about 6 weeks and my O's were better than they were previously but then I went off it while I was sick with ear infections (taking way too many meds) but have just started taking it again so I'll compare but my first impression was that it does something, I'm not sure exactly what! Thanks for the recommendation Marin!

I'm glad that you reminded me, Jaybird! I had stopped taking L-arginine too because my meds were being adjusted. In fact, the doctor put me on Lexapro because I wasn't sleeping through the night and I was feeling tired and overwhelmed. I've never taken an antidepressant before and told her that if it affected my libido, it was down the toilet. Anyway, if anything my libido has increased though it takes me slightly longer to orgasm. They're powerful though, so I don't care about that. Also, the Lexapro seems to have decreased my appetite some, so that's not a bad side effect, huh? The worst part of it is the cost (my co-pay is $50!), but the nearest generic available is Celexa and that apparently doesn't have the added anxiety-reducing character that Lexapro does so, for the sake of my sleep, I'll stick with the expensive stuff as long as I can. ANYWAY, the L-Arginine is a good idea if I want even better O's and who wouldn't want THAT?!

Christine - I'm betting this guy IS your old BF! He had to resort to cheezy modeling after you broke his heart

Janis - you don't like his face? As you said, you can't see it in the dark, but I've got to say I wouldn't mind so much seeing in the daylight either or anything else he cared to show during the daylight.....or nighttime...or whenever was convenient for him....

Okay - BF and I have been together for 2 years. Can't believe it's been TWO YEARS and I remember posting about our first "encounter" on this thread. I was a self-professed "born again virgin" as I hadn't had sex with anyone except myself in over 2 years.

The sex is still fantastic! I never knew during my 20 year marriage (or living arrangement) what "good sex" was. I thought I did, but I was wrong.

One of the only thing I have regretted during my cancer journey was that for 20+ years I lived with a man who didn't have a sexual interest in me. What the hell was wrong with me to live with that for SO long??? I'm not saying we never had sex, but the last 10 years were pretty sexless and distant.

I had ALL THAT ESTROGEN and feel now like I wasted it in a relationship that had been doomed for years.

Oh! How I wish I had 1/2 of it back! BF is very patient, but you girls know what I mean - it's just not the same without the big E.

I am grateful we had one year of the big E before the ovaries were yanked and I started Arimidex. But it's definitely different now. Still great, but different.

Sorry for the rant or whatever you would call this. Haven't posted on this thread for a long time, and what can I say? It was in me and needed to come out!

Thanks girlfriends, and GOOD SEX to all~

((((Donna))))!....I'm so glad to see you back since I've been wondering about you & your whereabouts! Tricky girl...changing your screenname! I'm so glad to hear that things are still going well with your man...and with your sex life of course! So listen, I haven't had 'natural' estrogen since I was 17 and experienced ovarian failure (except in my tumor...I had estrogen there, probably from HRT) and I'm doin' just fine 'in the sack'! So no looking back....only forward.....to GREAT MOJO!!!!

Marin - thanks for the hugs. I was on an estrogen pity party last night!

Okay - I'm checking out the L-Arginine thing...I assume it's estrogen free? (dammit!) Is it a supplement you can buy at a drug store?

Marin - are you on an AI? I've been on Arimidex for about 2 years and SO want to ditch it.

Here's to a weekend FULL of good mojo!!

Donna...L-arginine is sold in drug stores and vitamin stores like GNC. I buy mine in Whole Foods. It's an amino acid and estrogen-free. In fact, all of the research I could find reassured me that no evidence has ever been found to link L-arginine with BC. It's been recommended for erectile dysfunction for awhile now, but only recently have there been reports of its increasing female libido and ability to achieve orgasm. Since it has no known negative side effects, I say WHY NOT?! I would also recommend taking fish oil, if you don't already. It seems to keep the works well-oiled and efficiently operating, ya know?

In other news, I'm growing a little weary of being single. As you all may recall, I had that scare with the perv on match.com and, since then, have steered clear of the male segment of the population, to the extent that that was possible. But I'm done with that as my natural randiness rears its lovely head and my thoughts turn to fantasies of the male anatomy Just in time! I just received a text from my old FB (who is 33, so I guess not 'old' at all!) and he's looking to hook up! Yessssssss!

    To be continued....

Oh, almost forgot to answer your question about AIs, Donna. I've been taking Aromasin for almost 2 years. At first, it was awful, but I seem to have adjusted. I'm very fortunate not to have had any problems with the vaJJ or with getting to the big O, maybe because I went through menopause so long ago at 17..?

    You GO Girl!!!

(at least someone here is getting it.....)

Okay, I DO believe the l-arganine works. While my libido is still nil, when I do masturbate the o's are stronger and very much like before bc/chem-pause/etc. In other words, the intensity is back (just not the desire - WTF???).

Came across (no pun intended) an article from 2 years ago (deliciouslivingmag.com) about increasing sexual desire and l-arganine is mentioned, along with damiana, panax ginsing, tribulus (not sure where to find that!) and yohimbe. Just FYI. And most warn: not to take while pg, etc., so buyer beware but I just wanted to throw those out there. I, myself, am going to try to find the tribulus.....

Jaybird...Maybe you just don't have anyone to desire at present? I'd say if you're masturbating, you must have at least a little libido or it probably wouldn't occur to you to do it! If you're not averse to porn, I'd advise checking out some of that to see if you become stimulated. Some of the online toy sites have some good stuff, ranging from the old reliable Jenna Jamison flicks to the looooong one, Pirates. I think that most women like the ones with a setting and a story rather than the hard core stuff that most men prefer. Adam & Eve has quite a few with stories and the actors don't look sleazy, a definite plus IMO!

hey girls-- I occasionally lurk on this thread.
I'm really worried that when the boards go down today, and come back "new and improved" that we will lose important threads such as this.

Anyway, I won't go into a song and dance with my gynocologic problems as of late, HOWEVER, I just came from my first appt with a new GYN, and it was the best experience I've ever had with a dr.

She sent me home with a goodie bag full of stuff. You may have already discussed all of the products she gave me, but I wanted to list one of them:
    Arkadia.
Does anyone have experience with this?
If its already been discussed I apologize, I don't have the patience to scroll backwards.

I have to have a bunch of tests next week- but once we rule out things like uterine cancer and that stuff, we may move on to peri menopause, which would be the fault of CHEMO.
don't get me started on my rant.
If I am in perimenopause, (at f**cking 29 yrs old) we were talking about anabolical steroids such as testosterone, and we talked about progesterone, HOWEVER-- nothing would happen unless fully cleared by my onc.

I walked out with so many different lubes I may actually be in the mood tonight.

anyway, sorry for just jumping in, and rambling-- just wanted to know about arkadia.

Marin et al, fyi, L-arginine is in that product Vigel that I touted years ago, remember? Definitely try it!

Beth, sorry, I have no info on Arkadia, though the name sounds like fun..."arcade"...is it a lube?

(((((MENA)))))!!! So nice to 'see' you again! I think of you often. And yes, you sure did recommend Vigel. It sounds like a win-win product, huh?

Beth...Now you know this thread is for ALL of us and will go wherever we want in an effort to promote gr8 mojo for all! As for Arkadia, it seems that they have several types of products, including lubes and 'heighteners.' Check out the website (I like the section on 'Personal Massagers' myself )

Oh, what a fine evening we had last night!

(Debbie breathes a sigh of contentment....)

Last night, we could NOT fall asleep to save our lives.  It was nearly midnight and we both were tossing and turning.  Finally, we looked at each other like, "duh," and got our groove on!

It had been a few weeks, because we are trying to get pregnant....so when we think it's fertile time, we go at it like mad for a few days, then rest.

Thankfully, rest time was over as of midnight last night!
    Deb

Oh, here's a funny....I was at Walgreens a few weeks ago and was perusing the clearance (I'm an addict of clearance).  They had a BUNCH of "personal massagers" on clearance, and they were marked down from $30 or so to only $3.   I am an ebayer, so I snatched them all up.  It wasn't until I got home that I thought, "my gosh, what a pervert I must have looked like!!!!!!!"

OK, this might belong under 'Healthy Eating' or something, but since we MOJO Chicas have discussed L-arginine as a libido/orgasm enhancer, I thought I'd post it here....The latest from SHAPE magazine:USDA Research Service found that subjects who drank 3 glasses of watermelon a day had 12 percent higher levels of arginine than those who didn't drink any. Hmmmmmmm.....anyone have a recipe for watermelon juice?

    Cool

    Surprised

Michael and I are going away for a night out of state. I'm picking up some Crisco! BOB is packed and ready for the "RIDE"

We just need a break from home. Seems we do everything but take care of us.

    I'm celebrating my 2 year survivorship !!!!

Each year since the big C,  we do something fun and build a good thought history to look back on.

Deb, pack an over night bag and pick him up at work!  Leave his fringing car there.....Get away, you have to clear your mind for just a night....(((HUGS)))

Way to go, Mary! I hope the Crisco brings you many pleasureable hours!

Makes me wonder what the execs of the company that makes Crisco would think about its alternative use? Perhaps they could come up with a new ad campaign..? Something like...'Crisco, a little dab'll do ya'! I like that.....Cool

We're expecting a full report in the morning, Mary Surprised Embarassed Sealed Innocent!!!!!

Geeta, I don't think that the FDA is still looking at this.  They said no about it, oh, about 2-1/2 years ago or so. It seemed pretty definate at the time and I saw a rep from the company not long ago who said it's still not on the boards with the FDA.

That's not to say that there isn't testosterone available but it's tricky dosing because it's meant for men. Trying to figure out how much is a 10th of a little packet without pushing out the whole packet!

Hey mojo sisters.....we had some HOT mojo time the other night, I am still replaying it in my head.  It's very cool that since my mast. we have been getting increasingly more "brave" in the mojo dept.  The other night, we were getting intimate, and we started talking DIRTY.  I mean,  talk that makes me blush in the daylight.  It was sooooo hot!!!!   The best sex we've had in months.

    Whew!  We needed it, too!
Marin, I'm totally stuck in my get fit movement!  I'm still at an 8 lb weight loss, and can't budge.  However, I have been indulging in a Blizzard here and there......at least I'm maintaining my loss!  I really want to lose more, though!
    Love and prayers, Deb
