    Hi everyone.

I want a small shovel and a hammer.  I think I can handle those without killing any innocents.

The hammer is for the purse thief - a couple of raps on the knuckles are in order.  The other is so I can be a bitch too...... I wanna bitch... really I do.  Oh Toto, what if they won't give me a shovel?

Nicki!  You always bring a smile and chuckle to my reads!  Thanks for being you :)

Jane_M, yes I think it can, either that, or maybe just 'Jane' eyes! :D  I no longer where a bi-focal and am done to ONE contact for distance now and using the other for reading and computer work! Whohooo! Who'dathunk huh?

Honestly though, it might be a hormonal thing. I remember when I had my dd 25 years ago, I had to stop wearing contacts as the hormones change your stigmatism or some such thing.  Sometimes any way.  It's been 8+ months since my A/C, so I'm praying this is permanent!

{{Dream}} but of course we'll give you as many shovels and hammers as you can carry or tote dear lady! I'll even bring a trailer so who ever it was bringing her lawn rider can tote you around with the spares, how's that? :D

Okay ladies...Time to pick your poison. I have each of these, minus the 'level head rake' so scroll down to them and decide which you need.  Some I have 2 or more of, so that's likely no problem....Oh, and remember, if you get it dirty, you clean it, K?  That's the rules! Other than that, sign up for what you like and we'll make sure you get paired with the best of best! :D

Oh, well, wishiwere, of course I'd pick a pitchfork!  I mean, that's a classic.  That & a pair of lopping shears sticking blatantly out of a pocket....But, listen, sistahs, those of you who are really dealing with a lot of chemo suckage, you can do a lot of damage & scare the sucky-ness right out of someone with a mere icepick or stapler, ya know??   Heh, heh, heh. . . . . .

I am floored at the halloween story!  I remember as kids we used to get apples and oranges all kinds of home made goodies.  that was in the days before people thought up cruel ways to hurt people.  This year I decided I didn't want to do the same old candy, for one it's getting very expensive and I am tired of watching all these parents bring little ones up to the door for candy when they already have enough to feed an army let alone feed their one little child.  So I found playdoh at sams club.  Not sure if I told you all but these were little one oz playdohs in lots of colors and each person child whoever got playdoh this year.  One of the mothers actually said I don't want playdoh I want candy.  I said well I'm the one giving away the freebies and at this house it's playdoh sorry about your luck and gave all the kids their playdohs.  They were all so thrilled with it and were even able to pick the color they wanted.  I just loved the idea myself and most children did also.  then I had two drug addict looking adults show up with pillowcases and I said aren't you a little old for this, they said well our daughter broke her arm so we are doing it for her.  Not even an attempt at a costume.  So guess what, they got playdoh!  :)

I am just appauled though at the congregating and did you give me this nastly looking candy!  What does it matter, someone was doing something nice for you!  When you get home you should always go through and throw away anything that looks open anyway, normally it is innocent and happens but that is just safety precautions and not blaming someone for doing something wrong.  People really do take the fun out of giving anymore!

I don't have alot of IOS's right now other than I am SO ready for my DIL to MOVE OUT!!!!  I want my son home safely but I am tired of raising these babies while she still thinks she is a teenager that has cute little bablies to show off when she want to and calls to grandma to learn how to actually raise them.  UGH!!!!  If I didn't love those babies so much and only want the best for them I would tell her to GTH and live somewhere else but I promised my son I would protect his family til he got home and could do it himself.  She doesn't know how lucky she is.  Days I should be taking care of me I am taking care of her children...

Can this get any worse? I am scheduled for a mastectomy with expander placement this Thursday. Today, I break my tooth! I certainly do not have time for this right now. Will they even put the anesthesia tube down my throat?

I am not a dentist, but I am think the fix for this is a crown. Who has time for that 3 days before surgery?

    I want to run away.

I can NOT believe the Halloween story.  I probably would have been nice, too, and then walked away from the door wishing for the nerve to look out at the people and just say, "Oh, for God's sake, get real," and slam the door.  I've gotten lollipops with loose wrappers.  And guess what....life went on.  I'm starting to understand why my husband hates the public, in general...the ones who major in the minors, as they say.

My husband made me mad this morning.  It's not worth saying why.  Everybody please dislike him along with me until my slow burn is done in a couple hours.  Thanks.

Nice to see you, too, Bonnie!  I didn't realize we live in the same state...or if I did, I forgot.

Hello to everyone and hope you all have a not so sucky day.

gsg-picture me biting your husband in the knee caps.  Grrr.

Auriga - You might want to read some of my previous posts.  My visit to the dentist landed me in the hospital for a week and I am still confined to the house 2 weeks later having a visiting nurse come once a day.  BE VERY CAREFUL!!!!

Bonnie, sorry for the gross out so early in the morning :(

GSG....I'm mad at your dh for being the way he was or said or whatever this morning. Please let me know when I can be done with being mad at him, b/c I'm sure there's someone waiting in the wings for my wrath...usually is! :D

Jane? How's everything going now? any better this week?

Auriga :(  SOrry about the tooth....didn't need that to happen with everything else.  Don't try to fix it yourself though...You can end up with an really bad infection and anything above the shoulders is serious where that's concerned.  Be careful as jane said!

Anyone else that needs....BIG THAT SUX for you :(

Felicia?  Where have you been off to?  A life of NO IOS's I hope?

Have a magnificent Monday everyone, just let go of that anger in spite of the jerks, idiots and numbskulls and enjoy the beautiful sun! :D  Hope I get up the wherewithall to get some bulbs in today!

Good for him, b/c the wrath of us, could quite possible ruin his whole week!  I hope he knows this and will refrain from bothering us again with his minor self! ROFL  J/K of course....glad he's straitened out, dear friend! :D

gsg, I've released his kneecap but, never fear, my teeth are bared should anybody need them.

Grrr again in response to wish.  I wish I were back at work.  I still have to have the visiting nurse come once a day.  As long as she is coming, I am confined to the house except for MD appointments.  The premise is that, if I am well enough to go out, I am too well to need a visiting nurse.  I restart chemo on Friday and see the surgeon again on Friday, so I am hoping maybe I can go back to work after Veteren's Day.  It is also frustrating that I see so much stuff that needs to be done in my house and it is usually something I can't do either because it is too strenuous or because I don't have the energy.  So, I spend my time doing stupid, anal little things like organizing the pantry and cleaning out the freezer.

Ohhhhhhhh!  Cleaning the freezer, means frozen things and frozen things are usually heavy things.  Be careful!  On the other hand, if you go over the 'I can't get my act together and I don't know why' thread, you'll surely pick up on some of our laziness and begin to enjoy being lazy and healing is so much easier then! :D  Come join us! :)

Hope you are at least 'feeling' better even though you can't return to work yet.  Remember, that the doc who says to stay home is really not the norm, so it sounds like good advice you take it easy till he releases you. And remember, the flus are starting around at work places too.  You surely don't need that on chemo!

Wish, you are absolutely right about the flu...my flu shot has been put on hold because of my infection. I'm going to go over to the thread you mentioned.  Maybe it will help me feel better.  Of course, one good thing about being home is that I get to spend more time in the forums.

But of course you'll enjoy that thread!  Havent' met one yet that didn't! :D  Oh, bring your shovel though...or your teeth, we have a great group of us that use those threats too! I think it actually started there, but not certain of that! :D

I'm debating on the flu shot.  Thought I should get it last year, and they said NO b/c of surgeries and chemo.  Now I'm only 50 and worry I'll use one that someone more in need would get.  Is there a shortage this year, does anyone know?  I just don't see the reason for it, when I'm through treatment now.  Not at risk, I wouldn't think anymore, right?

Ok you guys...this is driving me nuts....

A few weeks ago, dh and I were sitting together at a soccer game and he received a text. He rarely uses that feature on his phone, so I asked who/what the text was all about. He told me it was from a nurse at our GP's office--following up on her earlier phone call and text that day about her not feeling well and now she was going home. I thought, "WTF?" Why would this woman be calling dh telling him her troubles, right?

So, then dh tells me that she calls him about 5 times a day just to "chat". OMG! This has been going on for months. I told him that he needed to tell her to stop the calls or I would call her boss and she wouldn't have a job. This woman has complete access to my family's medical records, has met me on several occasions, and receives frequent updates (through doctors' communications) about my stage IV status---and she's "stalking" my husband? She called THREE times yesterday, but of course dh won't answer the phone if I'm sitting right there because he wants me to think that he's not friendly with her.

This is really pissing me off. We already went through the "girlfriend" thing a few years ago and I'm not about to put up with that shit again. If I'm to believe dh, she is just "insane" and won't leave him alone. If I'm to follow my instincts, there's some hanky panky going on. I feel like calling this bitch up, screaming at her, and telling her to be patient--with stage IV she won't have that long to wait if she wants my dh so badly. I will admit that she has seemed a little "off" when I've met her in the past, but who's to say it isn't because she's got the hots for dh? I don't want to cost anybody a job--she IS married and has a son in college--but this has GOT to stop. Dh keeps claiming that he's told her to stop, but then the calls/texts continue. I find it more than interesting that most of the calls come in during his work hours AND that she uses caller ID blocking when she calls.

So....load up the shovels, pitch forks, nail guns, rock-filled snowballs, slingshots, heavy silicone prostheses, and whatever else you got and lets give Becky an "education" on how NOT to behave with MY frickin' husband......k?

I am still looking for a job, and I have been kicking it into high gear, even signing up at the local un employment office, so now I'm registered, and can look online.  I've signed up at several online sites...  man, I am worn out, even though MOST of the jobs I've applied for have been ONLINE!!

Maybe I'll be Shirley's campaign manager!!  LOL

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Diane, I have NEVER had to deal with this, but let me tell you, HOW I would handle it!

I'd show up that that docs office and demand a meeting with them BOTH, immediately or that you will discuss in the lobby there and then for all to hear! Then discuss it calmly as you put it in your thread.  That IF she wants him, she'll have to wait till your STAGE IV cancers 'gets' you, but would she so kindly REFRAIN from texting him during office hours (his and hers) and while you are together at your son's soccer games, church where ever.  Would I CARE she loses her job?  H*LL NO!  IN fact, I'd most likely be showing up at her home to discuss it with her dh when he got home from work, so HE too could check her phone calls and KNOW where they were going to!  He can get a print out of the calls she's made and verify it was to your dh IF he has the number to verify with, WHICH I would give him.  Perhaps a call from her DH to your DH might put a stop to his stupidity at putting up with her calls!

OMG!  Count me in....I'll call her and her dh for you if you wish?  OH MY!  Going out to sharpen the shovels, and other blades I might find pertinent to this B*tches needs!  UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Diane, call your cell phone company and ask for an itemized billing if you don't already get that!  You might need it to prove to her dh and her employer her goings on. Also to keep tabs on what if anything your dh is hiding from you.  I hope that's NOT the case, but I know it's in the back of you mind too, so do it now, so you have that to watch.  Good Luck!

    Diane,

You can go on line and download a copy of the cell phone record.  Who does this bitch think she is.  Doesn't she know that woman in our condition feel like we don't have anything to lose so what's the problem in kicking a little ass.

Buy some super glue and explain to DH how it could work on certain parts of his body.  I have delt in the other woman issue and at this point I will superglue anything that act out of line.

I would still report her and have her license suspended.  Isn't it against the law to use your position to line up a futher catch?  If its not, it should be.  Men can be so crude.

Ugh...that's the line I'm straddling:  IS she just a crazy, obsessed bitch, or is dh trying to make me THINK that? I know she's crapped all over HIPAA, but in this one-horse town, all the docs have all the attorneys in their pockets. The only thing that's keeping me from going up there in person is that I don't want to catch anything in the frickin' nasty office! LOL!

I already have detailed billing and can even check online every day to see the calls. This is the dh who grunts 3 words, at best, to ME all week long and rarely calls me throughout the day--BUT he can talk to her for several minutes several times a day? The most insulting thing is she's a HAG.

I have laid out rules and warned dh that she will be getting some irate phone calls and will lose her job--AND that she has opened her employer up for a law suit. It REALLY bugs me that she's reading the details of my doctors' visits. Of course, if she's reading dh's records, she knows he's a brick short of a load so maybe she's exploiting that.

Off to gather up some sharp objects....
