Gals, I am heading with DH to Miami Beach tomorrow to visit a gal pal and we are stopping to visit with 3jays and her DH. Should be much fun. OK, the cruise is two weeks from tomorrow. Here are the dresses I finally bought.

I am doing my taxes for my big cancer year...yikes...going through my medical bills is crazy. Acutally was just rads and follow up, but still.
Yikes.
Figuring out what my FSA paid for was a nightmare. They paid 5K out of 20K. But which 5K is the question.
I am going to give myself a gratuitous pat on the back for the active forum I suggested...Insurance and Financial Concerns. Yea cookiegal.
Have a good weekend for me. For some reason doing the taxes gives me awful anxiety attacks.

i love summer dresses but....
Port scar never faded its about 2'.SNB scar is right there but faded.
One breast is little smaller than the healthy one.
Thats why I live in shorts and teashirts. Unless the dress covers everything.

I seem to be surrounded by quilters. Today my friend picked me up to take me to rads and she saw my sewing machine on the table and she said she did not know that I sew and she wants me to join her quilting group. Who knows I may end up joining you gals.

That's cool Sherry! I ventured into uncharted territory fo rme today, and am experimenting with machine quilting in patterns rather than straight lines. I made a spiral on my log cabin block and I like it.

I love quilts or anything else that is warm and cuddly
I was shopping with my sister in a small town in Iowa and found a quilt shop and bought the baby a quilt patterened after Beatrix Potters Cotton Tail family, so very cute and reasonably priced too. I want to learn to quilt I am hoping that I won't be as clumsy with that as I was trying to learn to knit and crochet. I drove my home ec teacher crazy in HS because when I hem I sew backwards...was a lefty until 2nd grade but the Nuns said "the world does not accomodate southpaws" so I had to learn to write right handed and I have been a big klutz ever since!Has anyone had the test for circulating cancer cells? I was just reading about that on the home page and I was thinking I am not sure I would want to do that test. I get anxious enough just having to be monitored through MRI's and Mamo's twice a year!

Meece - I admire you. I have no idea how to machine quilt. I don't have the machine for it either. I usually tie them or hand quilt. I have to admit, I love to hand quilt and will do it as long as my hands will let me.

Three years ago I bought my machine, and I bought the quilting set fo rit. This is the first time I have used it. I usually hand quilt but I want to ge tthis one done for Matt by the time I see him in HA within a few weeks.
