Lynn - Welcome! the ride is a lot less scary if you share it ...lots of great info here and we are all willing to say it more than once:)
Don't know wha happened to the groundhog in Halifax....with snow falling all day, not a lot of room for him to poke his head out one way or the other. Ah well.

Well I am glad Phil did not see his shadow, do not think I can stand it this cold any more.
Cheers to Reg for her cancerversay.
Carol - good luck on your tests, hope for good results
Meece/Elimar - never had a colonoscapy, you have my support.
We are having a silent auction at work for trips to support a ex co worker who had a stroke and cann't get around. There are tips to Cozimel, Cancun and Ireland. I may try to bid but starting bids are in the $$$$ so ? Went through medical records yesterday when was stranded at home, spent out of pocket in a way of $7,000 (more than 5.5k was mine) can I afford it?

mjbmiller....How can you not afford it? I think we all need some kind of break this year. I am aiming for April....I usually take a couple of weeks off in between teacher training gigs and before the summer season gets crazy but this April..assuming I can find a kitty sitter for my 18 year old cat, I plan on going away for all or most of the month!...A novety...go away for a month and not work during that time....

Well, I for one can't afford a trip....sigh. My income tax return will go to my little bro who helped on the deposit on our new place, so that will get a monkey off my back. Was hoping to have paid him back by now so that money could be new flooring, but oh well, life still goes on!

Less monkeys is a good thing, or at least lighter ones.

I'm getting ready for chemo Friday and Mon a Neulasta shot then. I was wondering if anyone can help me with the Claratin issue. Ive read on other posts that if you take it the day before it helps with the bone pain. Well I'm wondering if you just take it the day before or how long do you take it before you stop. Thanks

Cancun, wish i was there right now, warm weather, sunshine, cabana boy, SPF 50 lotion, aaah one can only dream. I have "new" health insurance this year and out of pocket this year is 4K. I think I've already reached the max and I'm going to pay what I can and plan a trip to keep my sanity.

wow- have been off for about a week and there is way TOO MUCH to read:)
BarbA- you look absolutely radiant-so glad it went so well
Welcome to all and any newcomers- you are in the right place:)
Had a great time in Vegas-beyond what I expected-Caesar's treated me like a rockstar -here is the pic of when my sister and I got to meet Cher after her concert...I wore the turqouise (sp) in honor of one of my favorite Cher songs...half breed...get this, waiting in the green room to meet her I was first...then the casino host came up and said, "Miss Annette, I am sorry you have to wait but Mr. Fishburn has to leave and wants to meet Cher"...it was Laurence FIshburn from Matrix and CSI! I said fine but geez, he is taking cuts! hahaha I thought he was Quincy Jones for god's sake...it was fabulous and over the top and the best medicine I could imagine. It did my battered ego a world of good- The second pic is on top of Mount Charleston about 35 minutes out of Vegas...got to play in the snow...it was surreal how pretty it was up there so different from all the glitz..We packed a lot into three days- healed some hurts between us. We are going to try this kind of getaway at least once a year. Laughter and wonder make a big difference...of course I am all angsty over my third fill on Friday...but that is just me:)

Hey ladies - I have a prosthesis and we are going to Cozumel in a few weeks.- can I get my prosthesis wet or do I need to get something different for swimming? I was planning to cut a hole in my swimsuit lining and just slide it in there.

Elimar...I loved Top Chef. I showed up during a blizzard at Rao's in 07 and they let me eat!!! It was magical.
Hi to all. I have been hanging out on the LE boards as I deal with that mess.
Stay warm!

Well today is the Big day my biopsy. Glad and scared at the same time. At least after this I will have a game plan. Keep me in prayer and I will let everyone know how it went. If I use up all my post I will pm someone and they can tell the rest of my friends now if that is ok. I can see the waiting game is the worst. My Dr appt time is Feb 10. Lynn

{{{LYNNIE}}}}} Holding your cyber hand today!

That must be horrid to have to wait for the biopsy!!! I didn't have a choice - mammo, ultrasound, "we're doing a biospy, now!" Didn't even have a chance to get DH..... An now another week for results! Yes, the waiting IS the hardest.0
-
Hi Lynnie welcome and goodluck for today. Holding hands from afar!

Good luck, Lynn.

Lynniea would like me to pass on her gratitude for the support from everyone and she will make sure to let us know what she finds out. She is being such a good girl saving her posts! Being limited can be the most frustrating 10 days in this journey because it is usually when we need the most answers and support. Congrats to everyone who stuck it out and now have unlimted posts!

Good Luck today Lynn - Holding your hand and sending a cyber hug ((HUG))

Sherry - I was 29 degrees here when I woke up this morning - I thought I lived in deep South Texas? Maybe this is all a bad dream and I haven't really woke up yet. How is where you are?
