Jill H.  YEARLY mammogram found my lump.  Saw ob-gyn the same day as mammogram and she did not feel the lump.  No family history.  If I had waited to go every 2 years,  my diagnosis would probably have not been as favorable.  St.1, Gr 1, 1 cm, 0/3 nodes-IMC.

The report also said breast self-exams do no good and women shouldn't be taught to do them.  Thank God I did!  A September 2008 mammogram didn't find anything for me.  In April 2009, I found the lump myself.  It was 2 cm when removed in June.

Susan Lorenz - dx age 44 - no family history.  Found on routine annual mammogram.  Tumor NOT detectable by touch (10 doctors tried knowing where the tumor was located and could not feel it).

My 2 kids and husband are so grateful that I had that mammogram - non digital at that.
