Physical aging appearance

Gotcha - true with swimming, gym workouts, etc. I'd go medium to light but not too dark as our eyebrows change as we age...I use waterproof brow powder and as a swimming instructor, look sgreat before during and after.
...and now for One Tough Womans, can't live without products....Lindi, Body Lotion, soothes and moisturizes and Face Moisturizer, renews and replinishes both available online and store nearest you, go to lindiskin.com for line. Stores have sample packs to try, once you do, you'll be hooked, this stuff is just amazing. Light, non-greasy, and if your skin needs it, it will suck it in like a sponge, use daily. I've used it on scars, radiated skin, daily for face and body and after sun exposure, always use SPF anyway, but nice to have with you. I put it on every night before bed and I can say as a sun goddess and tanner (fake n bake) you'd think my skin would look like a saddle bag (lol), but it doesn't. I've tanned naked and after all of my surgeries (covered the surgical parts of course) and have used spf everytime. Amazing as it is, if you take care of your skin and limit your sun exposure, which I did, the benefits are nice, even at an older age. haven't gone back to tanning, but will in a week or two, vit D just not cutting it and diet alone, I remember when I hot AZ twice during my treatments and surgery I came back refreshed, tanned and feeling like a million bucks....a well needed vacation is in the immediate future but until then, I'll take my virgin pina colada, towel and music and head for some time at the salon.
two other products to try are: True Blue Spa - Island Getaway, Body Lotion, Tahiti Sweetie with Monoi Oil, this oil in conjunction with coconut oil is amazing as well. True Blue Spa, Lay It On Thick Intense Moisture Body cream with Shea Butter, both are by Bath and Body Works and this whole line is GREAT!
Any type of pure Shea Butter, Coconut Oil, Monoi Oil and Coco Butter are all benefical....enjoy!
Everyone have a super weekend and stay warm! GO BEARS!!!! Hahahaha!...I'm a Bucs Fan at heart! :-)

I love Evan Healy skincare (all natural), but since BC, I can't afford it, and my skin shows it. It's not super pricey, but it's more than drugstore stuff.
But if you are looking for all natural skincare, you may want to check it out.

I just arrive in Puerta Vallarta yesterday. My sister and I both had ooph sx last week. I can't believe how great she looks!!!! She had eyelash extensions put on. It makes her look feminine and younger. They last for a month and then she's going to go back for fills. It's tempting! If I won the lotto there would be no question...

Xray girl HOW COOL FOR YOU ! Enjy PR it is a beautiful island:)
My tests just showed my damn d was too lowlow so I am on 50,000 units twice a week and 1200 calcium a day...seems like a LOT....but I live in the sun during the summer....anyway, I started this week...hope it helps...do not want Boniva, etc...too darn many side effects...

I read some Lindi ingredients and was very dissapointed. It might work well (although I never tried it), but there are more natural, gentler lines of skin care.

www.essentialsoapsinc.com looks like a natural, high quality line. It was started by a cancer survivor herself. I am a skin care junkie....0

Annette...what were your levels? Did your onc do the testing or pcp? -Daiva

Do weight bearing exercises and lift light weights RELIGIOUSLY (like every day), take calcium plus vitamin D suppliments (I eat 3 Viactiv chews a day) and make sure you get 2-3 servings of milk, yogart etc. every day. I think the exercise & the calcium intake are equally important for the bone health.

My oncologist has me doing weight bearing exercises 3X a week (I do more). I take multi vitamin and my Vit D level was 29. He wanted it at 30 so I also take additional 1000 IU a day. I also take 2 calcium with Vit D a day.
Will do bone density in June and hopefully with all the above I won't need any other meds.
Just on Tamoxifen

Yes, he IS MOODY, he is an artist! It took me awhile to get used to him, but he ROCKS!! Who is your oncologist? Mine is Kotz, and he is not going to be too happy when I tell him I stopped tamoxifen last week.

Kotz is my oncologist also and has come highly recommended!!
My BS was Tinsley
Are you finished with Kays? I go thursday for another fill (I think the last one).
How long did you wait between fill and exchange surgery? I think he said a month.

I can't remember if anyone provided this link:
www.cosmeticsdatabase.com
It lists pretty much every brand and every product available for skin care, including make up and rates it according to the amount and types of toxic chemicals...

Skin, Beauty and Personal Care Tips: Homemade Skin Care Recipes
I was diagnosed 2 years ago, and since then, I feel like my skin has aged so much. I think treatment and no estrogen has done this. And now with the cold dry winter weather, it's that much worse. I'm trying to keep up with my fruits and veggies, lots of water, omega 3's and vitamin supplement. I also would like to share with you all a great website I found for homemade skin care recipes.

Welcome! Well, after a week off of the coconut oil and using another night time regimen, I am back to it. I just love it. It makes my skin so much softer and gives it more of a glow. Oh another note, I think I am going to see how much a mild laser peel would cost me. One of my friends had one last year and her face stll looks great from it. However, I am not a big proponent of having them too often, as one of the gals at my PS's office has had wayyyyy too much stuff done... About 2 years ago, she looked phenomenal, but now... not so much!
