Might be, are you ready for this Maureen?, if she gets engaged will she move back home?
0 -
doubt it she's been whining about the weather since she got back. At this rate I'm ready to move down there. Right now it's 82 degrees and sunny. I'm so ready to complain of being too hot and it be weather related vs hot flash related lol

Hi all, isn't this weather crazy? Bevin, glad you are doing better and Karen, glad prayers for your friend are being answered. Maureen, glad your daughter is home with you for a while......meeting the parents .....that could be serious. Do you like him? Was gonna wait til we got together to tell you all, but here goes...my older daughter got engaged last Saturday. She and her fiancé would like to get married in June or July. My younger daughters wedding is set for September. So that means two weddings for us! We're very happy because both guys are wonderful. I guess I'm gonna have to get another job after the holidays, but no working on Saturdays. Hope all my wonderful friends are doing well. See you soon! Love, Jan

Dear Jan, congratulations Jan, what wonderful news, two weddings to plan for - Cheryl will be a big help to you having planned her daughter's wedding so recently. And you are absolutely right, no working Saturdays at all, we need you with us. I thank all of you for your prayers, we will need to keep her on our prayer list as her symptoms continue without one of the numerous doctor's being able to pinpoint the cause. She is no longer hanging by her fingernails though, we have a very powerful prayer group. We simply have a very powerful group of women!!! Stay dry, stay safe, love, Karen

wow Jan. Congrats!!!!! Great that you like your future son in laws.
Bev. Serving turkey breast. Xmas dinner is prime rib a Xmas tradition. I'm glad your feeling better. Be easy on yourself shingles is nothing to mess around with.
Hey karen Cheryl Susan. I miss you all. Starting to adjust to new dx. Now I get monthly shots and infusion. I hope it works for a long time. I decided to continue work until I get a progression and we'll go from there. This is a tough time for me. We're communicating very little to kids. They know but I'm not sure they really understand.
Stay safe. Wish my kids would get home I'm nervous about the weather

Dear all, Albion NY, which is a half hour from me, close to the Lake looks like a war zone, according to my friend Linda. Debbie, please let us know you are OK, since you are near the Lake also

Hi, I've been at work all day, just went back into retirement at 5:00. Yes, this weather was crazy. Husband and son up all night answering calls of blown transformers, etc. Maureen, a woman I worked with at the mall lives in your area and said many of the roads were flooded. We had a little water in the basement. Hope all are OK.

most of the roads in my area are closed. We are expected to get further flooding. So far basement et all is fine. Nervous though they said the worst is not here yet. We have one way in and out. Channel 4 news is broadcasting just up the street.

btw dinner was great. Really like the boyfriends family. Normal and nice people she is a pulmonary specialist and he's an orthopedic engineer. Not sure what he does in that position but works at UB medical. They brought is white trash. It's like a chocolate covered goodies. Yum. Surprised they got to our house. They had to go around the flooding. I haven't been out today and really didn't realize how nasty it was until I looked outside at the golf course it's underwater. I will keep you posted the flood warning goes until Xmas day.

Almost ready for Xmas, presents wrapped, house decorated, and finishing up cookies. We will be driving back and forth to Rochester on Xmas eve and day. Here's hoping the weather cooperates!
Bevin, take care of the shingles, they are not fun. Hope Santa will find his way to your house.
Maureen, happy you like the parents and had a great dinner.
Jan, congratulations on your daughters engagement and wedding. If you need any help, let me know and I will be happy to lend a hand. My sister-in-law and brother-in-law will have had 3 wedding in 10 months this year. How crazy is that.

I'm doing as much as I can now so I can rest during the day tomorrow. I'm taking the easy way out and cooking 2 huge pans of lasagna... Hope everyone has a safe and blessed holiday.
