Lol. I can identify. When my oldest leaves I get emotional. Even tho I have another at home. Lol. Funny thing is my DH and I talk about pets (I have a very non loving cat) and how empty nesters get dogs to replace kids. We've (he) said we won't do that. But I honestly can't wait to get a dog!!! Lmfao!!'

Hi gals.....is it not bad enough we have to confess about chocolate, wine and weight...😱

Now age....😱 Ok, I'm 65 and before BC felt 45 now thanks to Letrozole 105......lol

I may be the oldest here, therefore deserve the title of "Queen" but I will gladly relinquish

my title to somebody older as I just prefer being a "princess". They have more fun and not so many respomsibilities....💃👑

Shari.....hope you get home today in the loving care of your parents...❤

Happy Easter to all those celebrating and to the rest, enjoy the long weekend.

Shianne.... thanks for thinking you were older than me.   I am 53 and like Scottie aka "Princess", on some days feel more like 103.   I like the idea of anniversary's of our 29th Smile

Beautiful sunny day here so me and DH are spending it outside... I'll be doing gardening and sowing more veggies, plants in the greenhouse he'll be doing the 'blue' jobs like raking and cleaning windows.    Gardening for me is my therapy.

I wish you ladies a wonderful long weekend.   I am so looking forward to 4 days off.

Hugs to anyone who needs it!

Shari hope you are doing well and recovering and going home today! I went home the next morning with BMX.

Kids are home for the next week. Trying to figure out what to do with them! Lol. And man oh man they fight like cats and dogs! But I love them and know to cherish these days cause before I know it they will off to college! They are 10 and 7 now :-)

Thanks for the wine drinking 'permission', Scottiee! Think I will take it - LOL.

Melissa, enjoy your kids! Before you know it, they'll be grown and gone.

Shari, hope you are resting comfortably at home with Mom and Dad.

Wishing everybody a very Good Friday!

I'm in the 30s club here - having spent my 38th birthday this year getting scans galore after the left side of my body was sluggish to wake up after my exchange surgery. What a fun b-day it was... Better believe I'm gonna have some fun once 39 rolls around in 2014!

Shari - thinking of you today

Tazzy - so happy you are going to spend the day outside in the garden with your DH, I like your choice of tasks, they would have been mine also

Liefie - how was the wine ;)

Ramols - why wait for 39, start celebrating today!

Melissa - I remember those days, hope you find something to entertain them, take some time once they are in bed this evening just for you

Thanks to all of you who voted for my DIL, she is doing really well in the contest, she has received 70 votes in the last 24 hours - if she continues to receive votes at that rate it looks very promising for her.

My DH and my youngest son are off on a trip today to Saskatchewan. I will visit my Mom this afternoon for a while and then I think I will watch Les Miserables this evening.

    Take care everyone

tazzy - i meant to say too that i've had similar experiences to how you feel. This week when I was at the main campus to have a re-check with the neurologist, the waiting room was so full. And some of the conversations i overheard and people i saw made me so sad. And every 3 weeks when i have to walk back into the infusion suite for herceptin - i get kinda sad. I look around and wonder if that is how i looked when i was on the really bad stuff... figuring it was... f'ing cancer!

    Hugs ladies!

Update on Shari from her Mother:

" Shari is home from the hospital and resting nicely. She is doing well.

    Rita "

Great news! I'm sure she will be emailing us on her own soon.

I'm 62 - I read the average age for BC was 62 but I've heard from all my Doctors that younger women keep coming in all the time. Very sad. Are they catching it sooner or are women getting it sooner?

I turned 43 in February. As others have said there are days I feel 100 though. Hopefully it will get better soon.

Shari - Sounds so good.  Keeping you in my prayers for a good weekend.  Let mom take extra good care of you.  Like Scottiee says take your pain meds and watch for constipation.  Love you.
