Well after our beautiful spring like weekend - we woke up to 2 inches of more snow this morning. Sun came out earlier, but hiding behind a cloud again now.
Thanks everyone for jumping in my pockets Be in yours Friday, 2 Fried.
Hope you fell better Juneau: headaches suck and I for sure get more now on Tamox than I ever did before.

Re headaches: I have a good friend in Washington State that has been plagued with migraines forever. She just started using acupuncture and is finding great relief. So, if anyone hasn't had enough needles or isn't bothered by them, you might try acupuncture.

Can you say - radiation graduate?! My techs even gave me a certificate of completion. Websister - will be thinking of you as you wrap up later this week.
Off to celebratory dinner and ice cream with the little ones at Friendly's tonight. It's all my 5 year old has been able to talk about.
Can't recall who needs folks in pockets - but count me in!
Hugs to all!

Congrats Ramols!
Tazzy, Jumping in your pocket for tomorrow.
Believe, Congrats on the great weight loss milestone.
Juneau, loved the kitty picture the other day. Hope you get to feeling better.
Count me in on any other pocket parties coming up. Hoping things slow down at work so I can catch up on all that is going on here, this is much more important.
I did get a surgery date for my Squishy swap May 13th, still a ways off but finally can look forward to it. Still have to decide Saline or Silicone. Any of you gals have reasons for or against one or the other?0 -
Congrats ramol!

Ramols-So happy for you! I know it's been a long year for you. Surgery, chemo, hospitalization and rads. But that part of it has come to an end. Here's to the next phase.
Tazzy- count me in on a road trip.
Iatiger- Congrats on getting your surgery date. It will be here before you know it.
Websister- Friday will be here before you know it! I'm so happy for you.
Wish i could have said today was much better than yesterday, but it was just as terrible. Long busy day. Working with a girl who is slower than molasses. I was running circles around her all day. At 330 today I realized that not once did I use the bathroom. I'm ready for this week to be over that's for sure. Hope everyone is doing well. I'm hoping I can get to bed earlier tonight than I have the last 2 nights. I'm physically and mentally exhausted. So done with this week already. You know Scottiee has been awfully quiet on her vacation. Guess i better send her an email and check up on her and her chocolate Jujubes.

ramols, Congratulations!
Tazzy, I hope tomorrow goes sSOOOO SSMMMOOTHLY for you!
ireland - yay! & I agree, one (or two or three) less things to worry about.
2fried, If your BS is like my MO, she's having the test done to allay your worries and make sure you don't cause yourself ill health from anxiety about something that is nothing. My MO, was cooperative today and ordered, but doesn't think I need, a baseline ultrasound on my ovaries. I think so. I will get freaky at times about these things so he just ordered it because it's not nonsense to have these things checked. Am wishing you good vibes all week and Friday.I had a follow up today with my MO today, asked about that ovarian ultrasound, asked about blood sugar, and he ordered my 1st follow up mammo. My bloodwork was good. it's the little things.
Are we sure Scottie isn't trying to seduce us into eating a chocolate jujubee or something by the looks of that photo? I ate a whole dark chocolate bar yesterday o_0 - I guess my sweet tooth has recovered.0 -
chrisrenee: you really need to take care of yourself. You are still recovering and your body healing. Get an early night and lots of zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's.
I agree, Scottie is very quiet... likely with a mouthful of chocolate jujubes
allurbad - thanks and yes, wonder if she was trying to entice us - canny Scot she is.
OK - off to do dinner - then early night for me. I am tired and need energy tomorrow. Sure all will be fine. Plus dont get the results back until I see my MO on 28th March - so gonna try and not think about it (yeah right !!).
Hugs ladies xxx

Tazzy- I'm trying to take care of myself. I'm actually getting ready to clean up and go to bed. I feel horrible because it's been almost 48 since i've seen my son. Guess that's one of the downfalls of having a kid that's old enough to work.

Its so hard when we get back to work.... things just seem to run away and we end up doing all the stuff we did before. Glad to hear you are having an early night. Sorry you haven't seen you son - just something else that adds to it all... hugs xx

Wasn't going to comment, but can't resist. Just have to thank Joanne for keeping us informed of Scottiee's eating/drinking habits, photos and all - LOL!
Ramols, YAYYYYYYYYY!!!!! It's over!
Websister, you are almost there too!!!!!!!!
Juneau, that cat is too cute.
Tazzy, best wishes for tomorrow.
Good wishes to everybody!

Joanne - Your cottage looks super sweet. Love that you and Scottiee are having such a good time. I would love a glass of wine as soon as I stop taking Nyquil to breathe at night. Don't think I've ever had a chocolate jujube. Trader Joes has divine All Natural (LOL) Fruit Jellies. Yummy like orange slices but not because I don't like orange slices and I like these. Also partial to their dark chocolate covered ginger.
Tazzy - In your pockets for tomorrow. Bringing lots of tissue for drippy nose.
Yeah Ramols - done, Done, DONE!!! Congratulations.
Don't see DD very often. Says she is coming out this weekend but has ulterior motive. Wants Dad to do her taxes. Will have to clean off her bed as all clean clothes not needing hanging are piled there. Doing lots of laundry due to goatie mishaps. Did get to go to Walmart (I know, big whoopie) while DH goat sat today.
2Fried - In your pocket for Friday. What kind of snacks should I bring?
0 -
Luvmygoats, my mothers favorite was chocolate covered ginger ...
Ramols, congrats .... I remember my happy dance when I was done ...
Tazzy and 2fried ... Pocket party for sure ... I have the jujubes ..0 -
Melissa, I went thru similar, but it was my thyroid counts were abnormal, and my hemoglobin was 'large' I asked what that meant and was told it could be anything from a glass of wine with dinner the night before, to induced thyroid abnormalities from chemo. A simple infection that neupogen is controlling. Doesn't always assume the worst. They reran mine and told me to follow up,with gp AFTRR all treatment is done.
Id say, ask, but don't worry.0 -
I have my... Lets see, saw BC in Sept so I guess it is 6 mos. I've seen the Onc 2x in between. I'm realizing these checkups make me anxious and bring up fury that this even happened. Today my secretary mentioned how she was watching a documentary which explained how meat and milk make tumors grow. I have never been much of a meat eater or milk drinker as an adult ( lactose intolerant.) I know she meant well but I jus looked at her and said, Well, too late for me! I know that my funky little BRCA1 probably had a lot more to do with me getting this. But comments like that panic me. meat? Milk? Sugar? Wine? Right, I did this to myself.
One poster talked about finding out that she wasn't absorbing her AI. Can you imagine going through all that achiness and soreness- and not even getting the benefit from it???
I'm down, pessimistic, sorry ladies. My temporary nipple tattoos went on crooked tonight but I am too tired to redo them!!0 -

Lisa - I feel your pain. I must have seen the same information your secretary saw. Makes you wonder about our food supply. Everything in moderation. Does anyone really know what's going on? Sorry we all have to be here but grateful for the support of these wonderful women!
Cmbernardi - loved the flash dance. Great way to start the day. Obviously - I Believe!
We will all be busy with pocket trips today. I'm ready! Looking forward to hearing how everyone does.0 -
Jo - thanks so much for keeping us up to date on Scottie.... and what happened to portion size I wonder??? Wine too... hmmmm please bring wine and jujubes to pocket parties.
Not enough time to respond to everyone, but sending hugs and love for a wonderful Wednesday.
Chat later ladies.

Cmbernardi,
I LOVED that video...my reconstructive surgery is upcoming so I'm feeling emotional but that video is a reminder of strength and courage. I'm sitting here next to my niece and her occupational therapist and they're asking me why I'm crying so about to show them the video as well. Thanks! :-)0 -
2Fried.....good luck on Friiday...❤

Ramols so glad that is done for you and so glad websister that your big day is coming so soon.
allurbaddayswillend I think you're right and Lisa I know exactly what you're going through. My Bs knows I get "anxious" and the way she put it is I think it is scar tissue and I am going to order a sonogram to prove it. Most people would walk away happy with that but I walk away with hummm she has doubts or she wouldn't order it. lol Glad your blood work was good! I have to have mine done next month plus a 6 month visit with my MO which was already throwing me into an anxiety attack. Funny i have no anxiety with my frequent visits to my PS because I feel she is just "trying to help me get back to "normal" but seeing the bs or mo, as much as I love them both, is like a giant reminder that I had cancer and I'm afraid that they will find more or something. I agree 100% about getting the baseline on your ovaries. (lol this coming from someone who had them remove mine at the same time I had my DMX and recon) lol hey I'm older and I didn't want to have to worry about them too. Plus it probably worked out cheaper having one operating room for 3 surgeons to share; a package deal 3 for 1)
Thanks luvmygoats as far as snacks.. if it's sweet I eat it lol. Love that the DH watched the goats. I bet a good goat sitter is hard to come by! We need to go raid Believe's freezer before her company comes and eats all the goodies she baked and put in there!
Joanne and Scottie looks like you are having a great time! It's so nice to have such a great group to go on a pocket trip with. I am impressed Joanne that you were able to get some of those jujubees for us. I guess Scottie only has so many places to hide them in the cabin though, right? Funny thing is I didn't even know there was such a thing as chocolate jujubes and when I googled them came up with two sites that gave the nutrician facts. Scottie this one looks like it allows you to put in 1 piece or 10 for the details. lol http://www.myfitnesspal.com/food/calories/metro-chocolate-covered-jujubes-13448625
Well back to looking at images of sonograms to see if I can figure out what I should look for on Friday-might be easier than trying to read the techs face or drag any info out of her/him before the doctor gets the report. No I am pretty confident it is scar tissue too but you all know how it goes. Wait for the test then wait for the results, pray we can get back to our new normal for a bit then repeat.
