Glad u liked the Flash Mob video.
Ladies - if you have not seen it yet, check out my earlier post!

Cmbernardi I didn't see that until now so I'm bumping it here http://support.thebreastcancersite.com/?p=1729 It was a tear jerker when the signs went up at the end. It would be cool to be at the mall or wherever there was a flash mob dance.
Another one we had in Orlando was done to Melissa Etheridges song I run for life that she wrote after she had BC https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_pekaDuYcQ
I'm going to add one more for us "older" ladies that came up thru the disco era https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJb4pTNcocQ (the acoustics in the mall are pretty bad but the song itself, I Will Survive, took me back to pre-BC. Little did I know then what it would mean to me 30+ years later. But if you hate the color pink you better not watch it . lol

2FriedEggs - yep, lots of pink with Gloria Gaynor! I'm loving the videos!
I posted this one last week but no one commented, so in case you missed it - here it is again.

These women all make me cry - must be tears of Joy, right?
We are the Survivors!0 -
Believe thanks for the repost-I did miss it. I'm glad to hear you say that about crying. They make me cry too. Don't know it seems to be a combination of relating to to what the people went through and recalling similar situations ( I got the chills when she was laying on the gurney thinking of what all was in my head waiting for my 1st surgery) But then its like I can relate to the girls joy of getting thru it all and that takes over and I cry harder seeing the smiling faces. Weird I cry just as easy at good things now as I used to when bad things happened. I guess I'm just a sentimental and emotional sap in my older years.lol Can't even imagine if I had more estrogen how bad I would be!

You described me too! Sentimental & Emotional sap. We have all come so far, I think we cry for the women coming behind us. What if they don't find us and see there is life after BC. Plus, they'd know to buy lots of Kleenex.

Greetings to all! Have been slammed at work -- generally having more work is better than havingbless, but sometimes I wish it would come in at a more even pace.
Tazzy and Two Fried: in your pockets!
Ramols: congratulations on getting done with rads!
Allurbaddays: congrats on the blood work.
Cmbernardi: loved the video, even though it made my cry. All those women holding up signs and photos of their moms, aunts, sisters, daughters. Such love! And this disease affects so many -- such a heartless bitch it is.
Must get back to client work as am under the gun to get a deal closed! Hope all are well and have good days today.

Hi ladies,
still catching up...this group truly is like a family, and I miss you when I am not caught up. As I read about all the relationships problems, my heart so goes out to you. Then I read the realtionships growing here and see cottage visits etc and my heart glows so happy. For the friendships here are like an emotional safety net. Someone here is always around to offer the virtual hug we have each needed every now and then no matter what stage we are in both physically and emotionally. That is something that can't be bought!
For now wanted to jump back in and say Congrats to Ramols and keep lubing!! Websister, you are next :}
Two Fried and Tazzy and all those in treatment too.... Just explain to them the extra weight in pocket area is the new you with all of us right there with you.

way to go chrisrenee and juneau!!! just have to share - i just scheduled an appt for my first visit to a hairdresser. Likely don't have enough to do much with, but so tired of these darn scarves and feel like its a tad too messy around the neck and over the ears to really make a formal debut. So we'll see what they say. They specialize in cancer care actually - so feeling good about it. Woo hoo!

Hi ladies
Ramols just watched and shared! Tears! Will never forget the driving around aimlessly trying to find a place one day to cut my hair off as at first thought it was going to be no big deal. I drove to 10 places in 2 days and could not go in and just wack off my hair. So independent I thought I could do it by myself. But then called my girlfriends and it made it all ok when they came with.
Getting my first haircut after chemo was a celebration so make sure you do the same and congrats!0 -
