That was pretty neat Phylodough!  Yes, to all the women who are, or have gone through chemo, maybe just a little humor would help.... Man, I can't imagine what you are going through....

Have to tell you about my OTHER neighbor....on the other side.... NOT the ones with the chickens.... So he has this huge beautiful Great Dane!  About a year old now....  Well, the guy doesn't have much of a yard left now, understandably!  So he had his whole deck extended, and this beautiful concrete walk-way and steps put in.... took up a LOT of room.  It's tinted to look like flag-stone.

So I look out this morning and he has a new lawn ornament!  It is a HUGE gigantic galvanized HORSE TROUGH!  I'm not kidding!  So this must mean it is either a BIG beer cooler, or a bathtub for HIM, or maybe a pool for the dog?????    I couldn't beLIEVE it!  Ha, ha!  The dog is so big he could just step into it!   We give the dog bisquits all the time.... he is just a little pussy-cat!  Drop the cat part.... He is afraid of his own shadow.  But sometimes I let him over in my yard, and he LOVES when I clap my hands, and he takes off!  I pretend I am chasing him, and he just runs around like a puppy!    But I can't beLIEVE this horse trough is in the front yard!   Of course nothing amazes me anymore.

And against "our" fence, on his side is that igloo type HUGE dog house!  Ha, ha!    I wish I liked our neighbor as much as I like "Thanos".... that is Latin  for  a Greek God or something.  So if you all want to come over, we can have a pool party!  Wink  Where ELSE can you splash in a horse trough!

AND I was given another egg this morning!  Shut up Cammi....  The guy is home, but off to work...I took the chickens over some soft watermelon and french fried potatoes....   And yes, another egg.  I took it too!

I am pretty sure their one cat they have left, has left the building!  I just hope she found herself a better home.  Haven't seen her for about a week.  I moved her bed out...(the plastic box with pillows I made for her) I moved it under their deck!  I don't know WHY I care so much about these animals, but it drives me nuts when people don't care enough about them, to treat them as pets!  Give them a bed, in a warm place....or at least let her go in the cat-door on the garage, without locking it, because her paw prints were on top of their car!

So that's all for today.....  Hope you gals are alright! xoxoxoxoxo

Hi Blondie, Foley, Philly and everybody on the LAST page!

Foley, so sorry about the insurance, that just REEKS. Try needymed.org I'll get the link for the specific page. They have an a to z listing of Disease Specific ???? then you click on the disease. It pulls up all these organizations that will pay for stuff. There are allot of BC organizations. It also has a list for low cost clinics designated by zip code. The way to use a low cost clinic is to get a referral to a specific doc with a request for reduced charge either b/c of hx of catastrohicic illness etc. Many docs do pro bono work, the trick is finding them. One thing that you could start on, is try the medical society of the county /region you are in. Ask for a list of names of docs that specialize in Thoracic Outlet Syndrome. I know you want to wait , but it may take awhile to track this. So, if you do wait at least there are some suggestions of how to do it that you can store away. XOXO sassy

Odd it won't let me transfer the link.

Thinking of you, Blondiee. I wish you were next door so I could look after you.

It bothers me too, Chevy,  when people don't take care of their animals. It breaks my heart. When DH and I were younger we used to take in any stray that came around. Fed them, cleaned them up, got them vet care and found good homes if we could. The ones we coudn't - we kept (we even did that with a couple of people, too, but they are so much harder to find  homes for).

Dwill - I just had my TE's exchanged for the form stable cohesive silicone implants (gummy bear). I don't recommend them -  too firm. I think regular silicone would be better. I was filled to 450ccs and implanted with 550 cc anatomical implants. Without a bra my profile is flatter than before. I miss the originals, but not complaining, had to be done.  Whippetmom on Breast Implant Sizing 101 is a wonderful resource person, very knowledgeable.

Philly - how many more chemo cycles do you need to do? Mary - did you say you have 4 more cycles?

BONE SCAN today, Picked up CT report and there IS something on the liver and thyroid. Nothing that is absolutly diagnostic, just means more tests and money flying out the window. Ya'll know the drill. Already scheduled with GI doc and MO for next week, so There'll be a plan before to long. The liver thingy appears to be exactly where I've been having pain so at least there's a correlation.

Blondie can we do anything to help?

Blondiee, feel better fast! I'm feeling almost good today. No pain yet. I've had a hot red face all afternoon, but I don't have to look at it. ;). I do have something going on with swelling above my MX scar. Doctor noticed it yesterday and today it's more swollen and has turned pink. Have a call in to doc and to LE therapist.

Gma, I'm worried about your swollen ankle/foot. They a,ways check for blood clot first.

Foley, yes....see doc...way too much going on.............

Well we all know docs are always right....If I had a penny for each challenge. Your pain was relieved when I had you do that maneuver when we talked. That's one of the maneuvers that the thoracic card doc would do. That's where I learned it. Don't know what to say.

Chevy, Can't wait to see what he does with it. They're all over the place in Seattle being used for raised garden beds. Expensive tho. He may want it for dog baths.

Yay for flowers! The day finally came!

Hi, been reading back 2 days finally caught ya...
Cammi, darn, I never even thought about those cute lively chickens when i eat grilled chicken Surprised
I learned a lot...anaconda IS a snake but armadillo is a mammal Cool
oh, and more than half of all snake species lay eggs.  The baby snakes have an egg tooth to break out when ready.
Chevy,  love to hear about Black Hawk...where we took a mine tour on a little train pulled by a burro ... only had 1 sweet kid then....
Of course, no casinos.  Last time I drove up there, I was kind of shocked to see the huge walls of the casinos. Black Hawk is such a small patch of earth!
Jo, we stayed at Ballys for some occasion and DDs gave us a room upgrade from regular comfy room to one with a huge marble bathtub up on a platform in the middle of the suite.  EEEks so NOT me!

    Off tomorrow...joined a gym...went 2 days in a row then skipped 5 days.
Thinking of you ladies during chemo.

That is a terrific series of photos. I wish I had done that. Alas, all I have is a before and an after photo and very few of the interim. I should have done that ... but I do hope I don't have the opportunity to rectify that oversight (if you know what I mean).
