Blondette - ask him if an  Aspira drain would be helpful - that way you or a friend can drain the fluid when you need to. It's easy to do, and you can control the fluid release by clamping the tube and resting, so it doesn't hurt.

Blondie, did they do any pathology on the drainage last time?

    Take care.

It was her 70th birthday yesterday. She introduced her family and she collected toys for tots. Introduced 2 cute marines who collected the toys. She was so funny and genuine. I laughed so hard I cried.

ducky - Why do you close the shore home over the winter?  Our little beach town has several hundred people who live within four or five hours drive from here and come nearly every weekend year round.  We only lived just under 2 hours away when we bought here so were here every weekend but one and stayed a week at a time every chance we got during the three years before we could move here full time.  Before we bought here we found it could sometimes be harder to find an ocean view room on a stormy winter weekend than it is on a sunny summer one.

Oh Chabba that sounds wonderful, in the winter too. The view of snow and winter must be beautiful--do others live up there too, tho or are u al alone?

Chabba......my husband and I went every weekend summer and winter....snow, hurricanes, scorching hot weather...( we have an inground pool) so heat was never a problem, plus the ocean.........it was built in 1986........he died in 1991..........was not going alone...and the grandchildren, were very young had school, and my kids were not shore people in the winter

So why drive 2 hours to sit alone in a house, then drive 2 more back home, when I can do the same thing here in Pa........once he died at 57 years old, winter shore trips ended.........he only got to enjoy the house for 6 years.......I have been a widow for 22 years.......even now we do not go a lot.......school till end of June......sports with the grandchildren.......so snit happens, and you learn to deal with it........and I do........grateful for the time I do get to go.....

We are in a small town of about 5,000.  Rarely snows but yes, it is pretty when it does.  Don't think it has snowed here more than half a dozen times in the 23 years we have had this house.  And only a couple of times did it last over 24 hours but one of those it was here almost a week.

Mary - pocket party for your Gemzar treatment. I'll bring some lovely fruit juices and keep an eye on Ducky's inappropriate  - ahem - costume.

Phylly's in the hospital, went away for rads and got admitted with a high fever, being followed by an infectious disease specialist, Goddess bless her. Hugs and more hugs to our Phyllyfeverous.

Ducks - we need to plan a winter trip to hang out at the shore with you - maybe next year.

Cammi - Mary is one hour later than you, so you gotta be dressed and well behaved by 2:00. You can do it. Ducky and Chevy - it's a stretch but you can do it, too. Ducks - leave that damn pilot behind...just us girls and maybe Charles if he's available.

Sassaroni can't type cause her hands are so blistered with eczema breakout. She sends her love.

If you hear about someone smothering their  husband with a pillow in Hawaii, it's not me, honest.

Mary - your DH bought you some porch furniture, plus he and his gang were out there pounding nails last summer, so you probably gotta let him have his damn truck.

My covered lanai is almost finished -started decorating it with some tag sale finds...had coffee out there this morning - soooooo peaceful, then drove to the beach and had a long walk with my beloved Olivia. She's such a joy.

Prayers for Phylly - poor baby - she's been through the ringer, but she's a champ.

    We love you Phylette 💛
