    Chevy, don't I wish!!!!!! I just really knew how hard it was for me not so much understanding --- but knowing just when and where and what I would see when I did the steps it takes to using the new tool-bar. Like Cam and maybe others........I did learn the other tool-bar. I did that quite late compared to those more literate on the computer.


    Also well understood how frustrating to lose an ability that you have gained. The more you play with it, the better you will get. I think the hardest thing for me was in understanding that I had to submit my picture/post first before I could edit and change sizes and right before I picked up my monitor to throw out the window ( right before I got it ) I decided to not get flustered -- no matter what happened, and to go through the steps slowly and pay attention and if I still couldn't get it...............I think don't destroy your own property just beat your head on your desk till your totally senseless...............then you won't mind starting over for the umpthteenth time. Glad I didn't have to follow through with that last bit.


    Now we just have to help Cammie get there.

    GG.....I think I would be calling that a dahlia. I don't think zinnia's ( probably won't explain this well ) have the highly consistently curved petals.....or maybe to say it another way, look something akin to that but the petals are in a more random fashion. Now that I have made this mess

    U know when I was in school the nuns used to say, everyone has a gift, my gift is my song--no no that's from a song, my gift has not been decided yet except I don't understand written instructions, sounds more like a disability to me--but it has saved me from doing many things in life--I have to be shown then I have it.Usually. I'm watching the movie Leprechaun and right before it started I called my sister and we were talking about our mom and I said remember when mom was a leprechaun and I continued talking and my sister is laughing and I asked what was so funny and she repeated what I said--I didn't remember saying that but I must have--me brain is addled.

    Wren - I don't know about anyone else but this is what I do and really has not changed even with the new format.


    I find the image I want. Right click on image and hit copy image. Go back to message composition box, position cursor to place I want image and select "paste" from "edit" header on my computer's toolbar. Resize image by clicking on image which gives you "edit" box in image center. Push corner edge in or out depending on image size wanted. Preview until I get size right.

    GGumby, I have been watching my email since it got stolen from my friends computer. Changed all the important passwords. The problem seems to have stopped. Should I still be concerned? Question: why does changing your password filter out troublemakers?

    Sas - somehow they must have got your email password. Did you logon to your email from your friends PC? If so, your friend probably has a keylogger on their PC. (you may want to warn them) Once you changed your passwords they could no longer login to your email. I would recommend that you also change any secret question/answer combinations so that IF they took the time to check your email account and find that information, they cannot at a later date change your password. If that should happen they would have your email and you would not. That's why I normally recommend people close their email account and open a new one (and is, in fact, what I did with my own email when it was compromised about 6 years ago.) But I understand not wanting to do so - as you can never really figure out everyone who had it and must be notified, and you generally end up hurting someone's feelings in the process.


    Also, though, spammers can simply grab email accounts that are in use. Because they are sending out tons of spam that have embedded links, they don't care to ever receive email back. They use the account names, but never actually need to login to your account - it's all just faked. My work email has been scammed in that way - and I'll sometimes receive stuff from "myself".... it's frustrating, but there's nothing to be done in that case, short of changing your email. Since your problem has stopped with you changing your passwords, it sounds more like you experienced the first issue rather than the second.

    This is a dahlia, Think yours was GG but could have been a zinnia. Love both types.


    I am so tired. It was MiLs 90th birthday which we had here and she really enjoyed herself. Had about 40 people here for lunch.

    gorgeous. My grandmother used to grow the most beautiful dahlias. I managed to grow them at one house I lived in, but ever other house, I either had too many slugs or too much clay. I thought that one I posted was a dahlia, but just wasn't sure. The description one of you lovely ladies made about the difference in the petal arrangement made perfect sense.

    Thanks Gumby, appreciated, I will keep watch. The first two emails were sent from my friends computer by her email address. All the email addresses in her book were stolen. After I changed the password the spam filter blocked them.
    Question: I didn't open her email b/c I knew it wasn't the right email, did that save my address book from being compromised.? It seems so, but you're the GURU :) Thanks

    GG, It's a dahlia by the leaves. Both dahlias and zinnias have flowers that look like that, but zinnia leaves grow more like basil.

    Wren....I hope I got it all down right. I'm not the greatest but since several have asked.....tomorrow, I'll walk myself through completely and try to post the directions --- words with sequence so that you will have an idea of what you will see as a screen and then what to hit on the screen to get the desired results. I should have done it first thing and have been going from memory and I am sure how clear it may have been. So.....tomorrow.....I'll walk it through.

    I'm using my desktop PC....it is all I've ever used. My hands/fingers are not sized well for a laptop or anything else ( those laptops are more compatible now ) but I just never bothered because it was so irksome years ago when I started.


    I think it will straighten out and we will be good. Bothersome when you keep getting the raspberry, so to speak, for your efforts though.
