    Jan, I found this cream in Whole Foods and while it does not take care of pain, it sort of calms the nerves and I can sleep

    called  Topocian or something like that!  I use it on my sore tootsies

    Hi all

    Poppy sorry about your doggy. It's so hard to lose a fur baby.

    It has been an exhausting couple of days. MiL passed so peaceful 15mins after my BiL arrived from Spain. Yesterday was spent organising things for Friday. Have loads to do today. I am making the picture show for service. MiL died on DDs birthday and yesterday was BiLs so we celebrated last night and drank a toast to Muriel.

    Yay.. Ducky is back.. Just to prove my love of ducks I just got Hubby to take a pic of my tattoo, and I want to share it with you.. I got this tattoo over 5 years ago ( for my 50th birthday) , on my back, where no -one will ever see it.. HaHa. I did it for fun ( went with a friend) , and also did it to shock my kids.. Which it did.. HeHe :-)

    that is exactly what I pictured Ducky Doing on her hiatus - Pissing just a few people off, by strutting her stuff!

    Ducky..............Is that not your personality exemplified perfectly??????

     

    Lucy  - The tattoo is a sign!   Have you ever seen the movie "I am Legend" with Will Smith?

    In the last scene, when the zombies, who are taking over the earth because of cancer cures gone bad and they turn the people into zombie like animals. 

    He finally finds a cure for the people so they don't turn into zombies anymore, but the zombies are closing in on him and he can only save this lady who has a strong faith in God, which he has lost because of all of the chaos.  So as he is putting her in the safe room, he notices a butterfly tattoo on her back.  Throoughout the movie he keeps having a nagging memory of his last time with his four year old daughter and it is about a butterfly.... so seeing the tattoo on the lady's back lets him know it is a sign, a sign this is the cure and she is there to carry it to others.

    Anyway,  I have so much faith in what God does..............and the tattoo is a sign, you are meant to be here.....supporting and being supported by this eclectic group of people!

    Ducky is awesome and has treated me like a daughter. She took me under her duck wing when I was down and scared. She is a wonderful combination of feisty and kind with a great sense of humor thrown in the mix. I couldn't ask for a better friend. We should all have a little Ducky in our lives.

    Kathy, I so agree. That duck tattoo must be a sign!!

    Lucy, love the tattoo!! I bet she will adopt you too. That would make us sisters. hahahaha

    Seriously though, I am so grateful for all of the ladies here. We are all so fortunate to have each other.

    Hubby loves chooks ..and so do I ..all the different varieties ..especially the bantams ..So we are going to a poultry show tomorrow about an hour from where we live ..
