Morning all, beautiful day here, but it is Bec's last day, she goes home tomorrow. We had planned the day on the boat, but now something else, gearbox?, has a problem so can't take her out today. Just between us, I don't think Bec gives a toss, she's happy to just sit and do nothing, work has been so hectic, she needed a rest.

Eclair Cake - Hair sprayed a whole bottle of readi whip on top 2 hours before serving and then could not understand why the shit melted then tried to cover it up with dark chocolate syrup
HAIR's father looks like a troll and weighs about 90 lbs,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, My mind went a little nuts at dinner when I was picturing him and CT naked................ WELL I had to think about something as I was scared to eat the food...............good lord bloody chicken ........... Then both parents acted like it was the best thing they ever ate.....................
Had to take the mother to costco today and was told "well I will fill you in tomorrow but people are sleeping with each other " OMG I can hardly wait............... so what ,it is not enough to get stoned, and drunk and wear all of your jewelry at once.............All I need to find out now is that there are orgies with the 80 and over crowd !!!!!

Garden is coming along slowly,,,, it is not veggie garden,, only plants and flowers. And I've convinced my neighbor to get rid of the horrible prickly hollies that encroach on my front area,, so I spent the last 3 days hacking them down to stumps,, now for someone to pull stumps out of the ground for me. I enjoy being outside very much,,, WAY better than sitting in front of computer that I must do for work. Wren: those cherry trees were beautiful! There's lovely photos on another thread,, maybe the gardening thread,,, a woman who lives in Japan posted several pics. Those trees are so pretty. I'd love to see them in person one day.Fia: yeah,, I can see you are torn. She did try,,,, but no one taught her to cook, and somehow she learned to act dumb so she could get people to do things for her. No one taught her that being an independent woman is the way to go! And it's not easy to overcome crazy parents. You need a couple of good influences along the way to guide you.

We got 6" of rain the two days I was gone. Floods. Muddy puddles. Sunny so managed to hunt eggs outside.
Didn't make it to sunrise at 7 but mass at 8. Kids were great.
Don't you all have an extension office in your county? We have both ag and home. They test soil, conduct master gardening classes, have rain barrel workshops, answer all kinds of questions home and yard. Type in name of your county and extension office. Great resource.
Very simple menu. Ham, fresh FL corn on the cob, roasted asparagus. No dessert:( figured Irish chocolate enough. Will have macaroni salad and deviled eggs tomorrow. Have to dye them today.

My friend got rain barrel from IFAS, kind of like county extension,,, they are having a plant sale on May 16th and will have rain barrels then. I missed their big rain barrel workshop in Feb. Hoping they might have a booth at the big art festival next weekend.
