This is Gizmo, our previous dog who lived to be nearly 18 years old! He loved to be carried in Bec's bag.

I don't  know what to say. Glad you had pizza with the girls last night. It's just his opinion, no one has a crystal ball. If it spurs you on to get stuff done, then as harsh as it sounds, it's a positive thing. If it puts you into a funk and countdown mode, then get you some drugs!

    In the bag.

Love all the dog pics! They do make me go aww!

DP  that is going to be one heck of a bag with all of us in there, especially if we all wear stilettos!  Our hearts are with you sweet girl. xoxo

DP:  Reggie and Toby are adorable. I really have a soft spot for black Labs. When we were looking for a dog, at the time we ended up with Rocco,, I was looking for a black Lab.  We saw a good possible on Petfinder and drive to Conn. to see her. She was Lab/greyhound mix and hubby thought she was too hyper. So the lady said: I have another dog to show you. Rocco was advertised as a Lab MIx, hahaha, and he came out and was so calm. He won hubby over when a small boy came over to him to pet him, and he was so calm and sweet about it. Neither of us had had a pit bull before, but we learned a lot about them.  He was my birthday present,, and when we got divorced, I insisted that I got "custody" and had that put in my divorce papers.  The old boy lived to 14.5 years. And he had cancer too. He didn't weight as much as Reggie does,, he was about 75 pounds most of his life. I hope you can look forward to a very long time with Reggie.

Sorry, your RO was so blunt in front of your grandparents. It's not like you don't know how serious it is.

File for your divorce. It's very freeing to put that person behind you. I had changed my last name when I married and then had to change everything back again after the divorce, but it felt so good to do so. I felt like I was returning to the old me. I thought I had lost her somewhere along the line during the marriage,, but I got her back again.

    Hey DP!

In the bag with you during all your treatments!  I'm the one with the blender full of piña coladas and frosted glasses!  Also brought some crackers and buffalo chicken dip.  Got my 5" black patents on as well!

All these puppy pics are too cute!  I am a sucker for those sweet babies.  The people who we rehomed my Great Dane came by so we could see him.  Broke my heart, again, but he is so happy and loved!  He loves his Great Dane sister and has bonded with his new parents.  He has a wonderful life!

that's great sgc. Glad he is happy. Andrea those are adorable little fuzzbuckets!  And daisy looks just like my neighbor dog. I'll get out my big purse so you can all pile on the stilletos. I'll be jealous. I'm only allowed flats right now which I don't find acceptable. Someone convince them I can have piña coladas. Yum.

Not feeling too down, just rushed. Need to take care of things I have put off, then I can relax I hope. Luckily I never went through the hassle of changing my name. I refused.

Well, I'm wearing flats and my ankle brace. I'll bring chili con queso to go with the pina coladas.

I've never figured out what they think you'll do different if you think it's serious versus going tra-la-la down the garden path. There's a woman on another thread who has taken the tra-la-la approach. She refuses to listen to them but follows all the directions for treatment.

It just occurred to me that the doc talking in front of your grandparents might be illegal. Did you give permission? Granted it was probably better for them to hear it from the doc instead of you fretting over how to tell them.

exactly wren!  He made me feel about five years old. When I asked about risks, he got very defensive like I was saying I didn't want treatment.  Basically told me risks didn't matter because the lesions would eat my brain. Gosh it does sound serious!

That's true, Wren.  It would be a HIPPA violation if DP did not give permission to speak in front of her grandparents.

he didn't ask permission but I kind of assume when I bring someone in with me that it is a given. Of course when they take me, I don't get a lot of choice. They just follow.

DP, I am still with you!  I have brought a 12-pack of Amstel Light.  I am liking Amstel Light now, whenever I am allowed one.  I will pass them around.

Bec is right -- your Dr is a Fucktard -- and M is right -- this whole thing is shitful -- and, of course, Dr. Z is right, as always.  Nobody has a crystal ball, for any of us.  We are all with you.

I couldn't choose which puppy I like best!  Each one is more beautiful than the next.  Now I will say something wicked:  Glennie, in that picture of Rocco, I believe he has his peen out.  **porn**

yes,, that was doggie porn,, my apologies. It's the only pic I have of him in his Superdog costume.  If I knew how to photoshop, I'd take it out.

first treatment down. The machine has been broken this week so I get two bonus zaps on Sunday and Monday. The mask was tighter than I imagined and it still smelled like a wet dog. When they took it off I spotted a perfect lipstick print inside. I better watch out for that tomorrow!

oh yeah. I am loving the fucktard name. I will be adding that to my vocabulary. I think I'm quite sad tht I will never meet Bec. And also jealous that ariom isn't my mom!

Yep Bobo....you made me look! Dog porn!! That cracks me up.

We call Diva our little slut because she is constantly playing hard to get with Lucky, and then flopping down on her back giving her best "Come hither" look. Lol.

DP: one down... And how many to go?? Do you go everyday? Or is it like the breast radiation where they take weekends off?

13 to go. Yes weekends off. Apparently although VERY serious, not serious enough for them to work weekends. Hoping the machine stays in good shape and I don't get delayed like before.

Oh my gosh. Have y'all seen the story about the lady getting crushed by a rock on the highway?  I know I'm sensitive right now but it makes me so angry at the world. What a bunch of punk kids. FUCKTARDS!!!

Hi girls, I just got in and I am knackered, what a day! I have no idea why, but my feet are just so painful. It can't all be RA, the Podiatrist told me it was my age, that I am losing the fat from the soles of my feet, "Fuck that" I said, "what about the belly!"

DP glad to see you here and that you've gotten No1 out of the way! So you were wearing lipstick to your session? That's my girl!

I am so glad no one is offended, I think Fucktards is just the perfect word to describe those people. We have occasional news reports of kids throwing bricks onto oncoming cars from overpass walkways, several people have been killed, but it continues to happen. I don't "get" where their heads are at all. I think they should be outed, for all to see.

Nooooo, don't be looking at those threads at night DP, take a look at Picture This, some of those gals have a real gift for photography, but you don't have to be good at it to join in.
