Sonia...you cracked me up...Idesigned tons of Operas worldwide at the beginning of my career as a set designer, but never Othello...up picked the perfect song to celebrate this moment. Thank you!

The other would be Libiamo....from La Traviata....

husband...the scientific mechanisms of FZ have been studied and posted in NATURE. Joe's blog is extremely precise about what, how much and when, but what we're all learning from cancer patients success stories, from all over the world, is that FZ can cure all sorts of cancers, most of all terminal pancreatic cancer, and that people adjust that initial protocol to their needs till they see results....which is what I would do....

As far as breast cancer is concerned we are now starting to read what we consider success stories, and just like those Swiss watches that are always right...everyone starts logically with what worked for Joe, and adjusts the initial protocol to their situation...which is a not only smart but the only thing left to do...

Short of adding the Mc Falland off labels medications to block the various pathways cancer uses to grow and spread....but that’s another story and I don’t want to confuse things

Frisky, I take milk thistle and selenium to protect my liver from rapid die-off. As far as I Know, I have no cancer in my liver, I just want to help it detox and protect it.

Do you know anything about Serrapeptase? I've read a lot about it's value for the liver.

    Thanks

OH, I'm ecstatic that you had a great fun-filled and energetic day!

Snooky I'm totally ignorant regarding Serrapeptase but I will look it up...is this something you recommend for my liver lesion? I do still take selenium, milk thistle and NAC but it didn't stop progression...however I was okay for almost five years after taking non stop medications that my poor liver had to deal with...

I will read up and share what I fin...thank you for the suggestion!

I'm starting to suspect that the massive dose of iron I took, when I didn't know any better, radically changed something, because I've been breathing better and have so much more energy...I had forgotten what it was like to move and get stuff done without struggling

I hope it lasts...maybe it's just my biorhythm....

I've been reading and reading about this Fenbendazole for worms in dogs. It's in my amazon cart, lol I'm ready to go! I'm just wondering if anybody has actually tried it yet for MBC??? And are there any drug interactions to worry about?

ALA (alpha lipoic or thioctic acid) is also perfect for detoxifying the liver, normalizing liver function and chelating heavy metals. It's funny but I trust that supplement because it is what they use in racehorses when they have hepatitis, elevated enzymes or some kind of liver malfunction. They give those horses the best, they won't want to lose millions of dollars! I was looking for liquid fenben on a horse veterinarian page (the liquid form is cheaper) and I found that information. I was already take ALA since my chemo, to avoid neuropathy.

Santa.....i had another one of those comfort foods irresistible moments...I just toasted a ciabatta roll and had it with Irish butter and organic low sugar cherry jam, and I think I died and gonne to heaven....ahhhhh....the power of the forbidden foods....

Sonia, I've been taking alpha lipoic acid....it's a really great supplement...but I didn't know they give it to racehorses...

Wyldflwer: Welcome, I'm glad you join the thread! No one has been in fenben for long enough, but some results may be known soon. Meanwhile, if you wish you can catch up with some news that we have rescued from the Facebook of Joe Tippens (you have to go back a few pages) Good luck!

animals are made of flesh and blood like we are and some are very smart...I swear I saw a clip on YouTube where this woman had trained her dog to talk! The dog knew the answers to a lot of questions in perfectly audible English. It was astonishing

I was dumbfounded, but I do have a deep deep love for all animals...even the ugly ones...except for some bugs...it's fine as long as they stay out of my apartment. I've been know to move ants out of my cabin by transporting them outdoors on a piece of paper...

Snooky, I'm learning about the benefits of the serrapeptase. I already take protelityc enzymes on a regular basis, because MD Gonzales cancer therapy was based onthe theory that proteolytic enzymes are capable of recognizing and destroying, or better yet DIGESTING the cancer cells.

But the serrapeptase as a proteolytic enzymes seems to be much more powerful than what I'm taking. Maybe the FDA didn't get around to mess that one up...

Serrapeptase is an enzyme that's been used in Japan and Europe for decades for pain and inflammation. It may also decrease your risk of infections, prevent blood clots, and aid certain chronic respiratory diseases.

Research has suggested that serrapeptase improves the efficacy of antibiotics in treating Staphylococcus aureus (S. aureus), a leading cause of healthcare-associated infections (9Trusted Source).

In fact, test-tube and animal studies have shown that antibiotics were more effective when combined with serrapeptase in treating S. aureusthan antibiotic treatment alone (9Trusted Source, 10Trusted Source).

What's more, the combination of serrapeptase and antibiotics was also effective in treating infections that had become resistant to the effects of antibiotics.

This is extremely useful to know...I'm gonna start replacing my enzymes with this one, as soon I'm done with the current container. More than 200 positive functions are associated with its use. Thanks Snooky

Up with the birds today! Thought I'd research curcumin again. Here are some links for anyone interested. (Incidently, last taxol was on the 15th of July and I'm just now getting over the awful depression and feeling alive again. My next one, if I do it is on the 29th. This is the way it's been going for me. Four of five fairly good days out of the entire two weeks. Not good enough)

    +++++++++++++++++++

This first study is not new, it's from 2012

    https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3025067/

well, sucks, facebook just went down. Can't copy the other link. I will get back to it.

    ===================================

Frisky, Thanks for doing the legwork on the serrapeptase. In the last two years I've seen this recommended so many times but I never pursued it cause I was spending a fortune on supplements and just passed this over. Yesterday, when I saw it again mentioned, had a knee-jerk reaction to check it out. One well know alternative prac. said to kill Stem cells you need take : heme, DIM, Green Tea, (Matcha) and Curcumin. Toss some Vit D into the mix too. When I had to start IV chemo in Feb., I pretty much quit all my supplements, my mood was so low. But I'm back in the game now because a) they work and b) It gives you an enormous feeling of being in control.

Those taking Milk Thistle, how much and how many times a day? Mine is 250 mg extract and I was doing 3 a day. I want to get back on all of this as soon as I'm don't with this antibiotic.

Sonia, you had me cracking up on your comment "I guess I have worms"!

Snooky, I'm sorry for the few days you get of feeling good. Let us know if you decide to do another Taxol.

Nicole, here is the answer I got from Jeff. I didn't get the time to ask about the supplements, but did that this morning.

Jeff Boatwright it was 3 days on and 4 off for first 3 months and in June we changed to 4 days.

    Frisky,

I asked you about Molybdeum a few pages back when we were talking about "healing crisis" and detoxing. I told you that I would get back to you with the info on it. I never did. Remembered this am.

When I was heavy into killing fungus in my gut I took it to help detox the die off.

"Molybdenum is the only thing that will remove acetaldehyde from the body, which is produced by Candida overgrowth in the gut."

Goldie, I would build up to three @day slowly...take one twice a day for three days...see how you feel before taking three. Also, measure your blood sugar, it will lower it, but obviously you don’t want to go too low.

    Frisky, the Milk Thistle?

Nicole, the rest of the answer from Jeff...she took the vitamin E and curcumin on days with the FB only and she took CBD and THC and Turkey tail mushroom every day.

    yes, the milk thistle Goldie...

I’m getting a pet scan on Monday anyway...MSK insists they will get paid from insurance one way or another...

On Monday we all will be with you in that pet scan, we will have our hearts in our hands waiting for those results!

Thank youSonia...I don't know what to expect...I'm afraid of getting disappointing news. My gut tells me that I will have to increase the dose and take the FZ every day...

Of course, I'm hoping to be wrong, but my intuition is usually pretty accurate.

When are you going to get your pet??

  • Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Member Posts: 551

Oh Frisky, although I hope this time your intuition fails completely, I also don't want to make you feel pressure on those results. You just will make the necessary adjustments and move on!

I'm still in active treatment. I did chemo, had my surgery and now waiting for rads. I have a suspicius supraclav node that "we are watching", so I am in total uncertainty. Would the other shoe fall? When and where?

The rest of my body was clean, but my bone scan / tac were in September 2018.

I have so much interest in this thread because I want to be able to count with this precious silver bullet if the other shoe finaly falls...

  • santabarbarian
    santabarbarian Member Posts: 2,311

Yndorian, can they radiate the node when they do rads? Might you possibly qualify for Proton Rads, which are very directly applied to specific areas?

  • Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Member Posts: 551

Santab: My MO says that the node is within the area that is going to be irradiated so I would not yet be in stage IV, but I am no longer in stage 2b, because that classification is prior to the node discovery. I don't have the results of my pathology yet, but my axillary nodes showed pcr on ultrasound while the supraclav node was not modified, so another possibility is that it is an inflammatory response to thick needle biopsy. We have to wait!

Some small good Fenbendazole news: I started my 13th cycle of fenben this morning. This afternoon I learned that my CA27-29 tumor markers have dropped from 81.9 last month to 63.7. I am inmy 13th month of Verzenio, 200. Very grateful!

  • Frisky
    Frisky Member Posts: 1,686

Sonia I'm sorry to hear about the suspicious supraclav node, I'm sure it will turn out to be just an inflammatory response and that if necessary, the radiation will take care of it permanently.

My intuitive instinct is unequivocal when focused on you: you're going to be A okay!!

Schanauzermom, congratulations on your results! Thank for sharing the good news with all of us!
