    Thanks Odalys!

She is such a girly girl..she is very proud of her "crocs!" We were in the car the other day...me in front and her in back in carseat and she pops up out of the clear blue and says, "So, how do you like my new shoes?"
My Mom and DD are shoeaholics........she started early!

Odalys, I may be going to Miami quite a bit in the near future. I have am MRI scheduled for May 9, then another appt with the surgeon to decide on another lumpectomy or mastectomy. I may then be driving there quite a bit for rads. None of that is available in the Keys. What area of Miami are you in?

Whew….someone needs to give me a pause button for this thread! I am WAY behind. I skimmed a bit….sounds like things are looking good for Madison…WoooooHooooo. Now I need to look for CY and Cheri’s news.

Amy I am just itching to get my paws on Hey Jude! Give him a kiss on the nose from Auntie Debbie. Don’t their noses feel just like velvet? LOVE it. I am a sucker for baby anything…..

Shel – your employer pi$$e$ me OFF!! You, my dear do NOT deserve this. If you were not such a warm weather girl I would tell you to head on up here. The local hospital is growing in leaps and bounds and they love their nurses. You might want to find Binny on the LE thread. She has TONS of info and might be able to help you out with some links. Hugs

Robin – Max is SOOOOO cute. Give him a tummy rub from me. Just for you….
Top 11 reasons a dog is better than a man…

    1. Dogs do not have problems expressing affection in public.
    2. Dogs miss you when you're gone.
    3. Dogs feel guilty when they've done something wrong.
    4. Dogs admit when they're jealous.
    5. Dogs are very direct about wanting to go out.
    6. Dogs do not play games with you-except fetch (and they never laugh at how you throw.)
    7. You can train a dog.
    8. Dogs are easy to buy for.
    9. The worst social disease you can get from dogs is fleas.
    10. Dogs understand what "no" means.
    11. Dogs mean it when they kiss you.

Oh, and how about they never come home with an internet “bitch”(Of course I mean the female dog kind…..)

Girls, I need to clean my kitchen….I mean REALLY need to clean my kitchen. I worry that the dishes may begin to grow mold if I don’t get them all done today. Hugs to everyone. I love ya to tiny little bits! If I don’t come back tomorrow call out a rescue team. They will find me under an avalanche of dishes in the kitchen…

I came to check on the girls to see what news they had shared. Madison, while not official report, the verbal sounds good. I always ran with "looks OK".

This site has been so slow to load today and I am probably one of the very few here that still has DIAL UP INTERNET SPEED - NO HIGH SPEED FOR ME. This is not easy to keep up.

Amy, I hope you can rest tonight. I didn't see anything that you had gotten a call to tell you anything. Nothing from Cy or Cheri either.

Have enjoyed all the pictures. Hubby has just gone to bed and I had an earlier nap - I know, that means it will probably add to my sleep woes but I could not keep my eyes open. Need to pick up a few things and try to get some sleep myself.

Have a good night everyone. I didn't take notes and as slow as everything was loading for me - it would have been old news anyway.

    Good morning sisters!
Nicki dear...tweaking your toes and blowing the trumpet.
Z...what an awful day. There was a bomb threat at
our high school last week. False of course but disturbing
just the same. We live in a very small town and things
like that just aren't the "norm" here. I love the pictures
and hope you have a better day today.
Cheri girl...glad your oncologist is on top of this. I
wouldn't be more appprehensive though...at least someone
is going to do something as your regular doctor seems to
be a little lax in caring for you. It's a cyst...they
are gonna fix it and you'll be fine and dandy.
CY...the guy she married isn't Derricks father. Derricks
father is worse than she is if you can imagine that! I
have a picture of him somewhere and his picture alone would
    scare you.
Shirley...can't help you with your tests but hopefully
someone will soon. A girl at work has Celiac disease so
maybe I can get some info from her. I do know that they
ran a huge bunch of tests before they figure it out.
Ok...really gotta run and get ready for work. Have no idea
what I'm gonna wear. The sky is really pretty this morning
all red and pink. My grandfather always said "red sky in
the morning, sailors take warning, red sky at night sailors delight". It's always held true...every time we
have a red sky in the morning we get storms and that's
what they are predicting today. I miss him. He was such
    a wonderful man.
Love ya all and I'll check in at work when I get a break.
Sending wishes and prayers for a wonderful day for all.

Yes, I am familiar with both facilities. They are about 40-60 minute drive from where I'm at. I'm very busy during the week and since I just started a new job I don't have any time but I could do lunch on a Saturday. Let me know and I will drive down to meet you.

Well, I'm signing off for the night. It's late and the alarm will go off at 5:30 am.

Pleasant dreams ladies. I'll be saying a prayer for us all before calling it a night. Talk with you mañana.

hmmm...looks like our site is having a problem or I'v lost
my mind. It says 11:02pm and 4/30 on my post but it's May 1st and 6am. Had a hard time even finding the thread and
when I clicked on active topics after posting it was still
on the second page instead of the first.

Im with you Vickie! Just so everyone knows its May 1st and it's 5:45am here in the chicagoland end of the circle. The birds are singing and I can tell its gonna be a beautiful day.

This diet that I am on is seriously taking away my computer time. But after all my complaining yesterday morning, I sure did enjoy the breakfast I made.

Good morning Happy Campers! Up and at 'em!

Off to that wonderful training class. All day -- eight whole hours. But on a positive note, only 20 more years and this gal gets to retire.

Hope everyone has a fantabulous day!

Morning sisters...I was up earlier but went back. My dog was barking at my neighbor's bobcat out back at 4:30am. They are having a pool dug and he got scared at the machine in their yard.
I'm afraid our web site is falling apart and hope everything's ok.
Beautiful day for everyone I hope. Check in later. xoxo

Well I have sat here for 1/2 hour and havent even read one post. I have 15 minutes of computer time. Then its make breakfast and go for a walk before my shower.

Day 1 on Phase one south beach was - successful! Only 13 more days to go.

CY: You are gonna have a busy week indeed. Just wishing you good luck with all your tests. You know we all will be with you on Wednesday. Biopsy of the liver?

Sherloc: Those test results went right over my head, and this silly nurse thinks she knows everything. The results do sound normal though. I just dont know what the test was for.

Cheri: Of course the onc wants the ball rolling! He doesnt want you to wait until Wednesday! Hope you get that MRI scheduled really soon. The only peace of mind you will have is when you know what you are dealing with.

Bredna: I remember Fancy. She is a great person. She was here in the circle when it firstr started. Toting bales of hay for all the horses. Im sorry to hear about her husband. I will check out her thread and I hope she comes back to the circle.

OK! My time is up. Gotta make breakfast and go for a walk.

I didnt even get to read all of your posts!! Im in big time withdrawal.

dear nurse friends I need your brains for a moment or two if you don't mind. Got my labs results my bone doc ordered. Trying to make heads or tails out of the damn things.
    She ordered
    1)anti-tissue transglutaminase 2)anti-gliadin antibodies
These are for celiac disease....I don't see anything close to these names on the papers. 5 pages worth I might add.
Also ordered SPEP(normal) and PEP, these are for multiple myeloma
Heres the results of those: I'm just gonna write it exactly as it is
    PEP Urine
    Immunoelec Urine
Total Protein .56 normal range- 10-140
    Albumin detected normal range- detected
Alpha-1 detected normal range- none detected
Alpha-2 detected normal range- none detected
Beta detected normal range- none detected
Gamma detected normal range- none detected
Urine IFE negative for monoclonal free light chains
(I think that means I don't have multiple myeloma)

    so for my questions
Is this the test for celiac?
What the heck does it mean?

Still playing phone games with stupid doctor. I'm getting really annoyed. According to blood work the bone meds are not doing what they are supposed to be doing. It's been a pickin week and the woman hasn't returned my phone calls.
Can anyone make any sense of it. I've been searching and searching all afternoon and can't find anything.
    HELP!!
But if you can't it's ok.

    Madison, the news sounds good.

Cheri, glad your onc in on top of things.

Amy, hope you get some good news soon.

Denise, won't be making the Komen Race in Detroit. It's a
double B-day weekend in our family. DH will be 64 and
oldest DD will be 34. Lots of celebrating to do.

Deb, have missed your kind words. Hope you don't get dishpan
    hands.

Vicki, my dad used the same phrase.

Sorry for those I missed. I'm thinking of the Circle
throughout my day. It's Tuesday, and I need to get ready for
a.m. exercise class. I'll being checking later for news.

Hugs, prayers, and healing for all.

    Good Morning CG'S!

I see that Nicki is once again posting pictures of me in the morning without my knowledge! Nicki, Nicki, Nicki.

Gotta run....just checking in to see if Cheri and Cy had posted. Yes they have! I am personally holding both of them to blame for every gray hair I sprouted yesterday!

    Have a great day!

Morning girls. It's too much for me to go back and catch up again so I'll just jump in.

Vickie, can you give an update on the journal - there are some who haven't seen what you are doing - I understand you changed the deadline to June 1 - now I can definitely find time to write something.

Susan, what did I miss with the secret pal?

Gus, did you go to Disney World? My hubby and I want to surprise the grandkids with Disney World later this year or the first of next year.

Colleen, I tried hip hop once, for about 5 minutes. I just started a salsa dancing class and it's so much fun and good exercise.

    Beth, great pics.

Shokk, if you want to go to Vegas, on the radio they are advertising this new timeshare resort and you can stay free for 3 days/2 nights. It's not on the strip but......let me know if you want more info. I had lasik surgery about 7 years ago and it was one of the best things I ever did.

Shel, you know the old saying that everything happens for a reason. Apparently, your ship is going to come in, you just need to recognize it when it does and get on board. Hang in there.

Cheri, I think I got my Knifty Knitter yesterday - been too busy to open the box. How are you holding up?

    CY, hugs for you.

    G, how are you doing?

    Denise, great pics.

Liz, are you coming to the city by the bay? Make sure you let us know because there are some of us that live close.

Amy, I hope you heard from the doctor.

I'll have to catch up with everyone later. I'll be glad when this auction is over.

Hugs to everyone and hope your day is perfect.

    Good morning CGs!

I'm with Vickie. We always used to say that about the red sky and it is always true. We are getting storms here today also. I have been having some really bad headaches for the past few weeks and now I am dizzy. I thought it was my sinuses and allergies. Can clogged up sinuses cause dizziness? It seems a little better today. If it's still there this afternoon, I'll call my PCP. I only worry about it because I have to drive 34 miles to work and that sucks on a good day .

Tricia, my son really loves the Cape Coral area. His SIL and BIL live there and they have been trying to get them to move there for a while. They will be taking my two GSs away . We are heartbroken! Looking at the bright side, we have a warm place to visit in the winter. My DIL got a job there and they haven't told us yet. My oldest son blabbed the news last weekend. I wonder when they are going to tell us?

CY, boy are you busy this week!! That is way too much medical stuff to handle in one week. Good luck to you. I'm sure everything will turn out fine.

Nicki, I'm glad you are doing well on South Beach. I have got to get my butt back in gear and DO SOMETHING!!!

Cheri, thanks for checking in!! Just get your MRI, cause I know it will show nothing but a little, bitty cyst. And, it just might be nothing at all. Can they do any other test if you can't get the MRI because of the metal in your body?

Hugs for, Susan, Odalys, Madison, Amy, Joyce, Karen in Denver, Beth, Shel, Sheri, Sherloc, Zaz, Denise, JanKay, Robin, Silka, Newter, Gus/Sue, Brenda, Colleen, Iris, Kristin, Peggy, and beautiful NS. I hope I didn't miss anyone and if I did, please know it isn't personal. It's early and I have chemo brain

If I get a minute at work, I'll try to check in later!
    Bye for now!
