Marin, I don't want you guys to move this thread!  I happen to like sharing MOJO ideas with you all (you guys have taught me to be so much more creative).

    Keep this here!

We had some really excellent MOJO time the other night.  We tried a new position, which I loved.  I don't know if I can describe it well, but I will try.....

lay on your side, and draw your top leg up towards your chin.  He enters you from the top (while you are on your side? Does that make sense?), and you get some AMAZING friction.

I think it is called the "butterfly" position.  Anyone else know it?

PS-really good for me, just ok for him......heh heh Cool

Huh, been doing that position for years and every guy I've done it with has liked it. But I have to say I have to lay on my left side as it's uncomfortable on my right side. New positions are always fun to experiment with!  ;)

    heehee.....

dh wanted to try another position where he kind of sat on the edge of the bed, and I was supposed to lower myself (reverse cowgirl style) onto his lap.  I was then supposed to control the motion in my standing position.

I couldn't stop laughing.  I felt like I sometimes do when I use a public potty (I am a squatter in a public bathroom EmbarassedEmbarassed) and my legs just kept giving out on me.  Besides, our bed is really high!  Is he crazy?!?!?   Surprised

    Goodnight ladies!  Deb

    Happy mojo to you!

Oh Deb, here I am! I got me plenty of MOJO last night...and this morning. Details over on the "lingerie" thread in the "Singles..." forum. But I will say that one of the positions we tried was exactly the one you mention (the butterfly, not the sitting up reverse cowgirl...I know just what you mean about that one...it is pretty funny and reminiscent of public potty-squatting!).

This thread is staying here, for all to enjoy! I'd say that it's time to start thinking about naughty & nice costumes, gifts and activities for Valentine's Day? Is anyone thinking of doing something special & sexy?

Marin, you lucky devil!!!!!   Sounds fantastic.

One of my best friends happens to be a lesbian, and we were talking about websites to get goodies.  She lives in a small town, and is uncomfortable about going to the one sex store in the area.  I told her that I could get a list of the best, discreet and classy sites for her here!

    Ok, so what are they?

Hi all. Someone wrote about a pill that is hormone free, that helps with the dryness issue. Does anyone remember what it was and where you can get it?

    May God Bless

Thanks for the links!  Time to do some Valentine's shopping.

Marin, what are you planning with your hottie?  You are always good for some pointers on creativity!

Sue...Do you mean the K-Y Liquibeads? They're vaginal suppositories and are supposed to keep you moist for hours on end http://www.k-y.com/index_us.jsp#  Also, Jaybird has discussed a supplement-type of product that she takes for elevating the libido and I've recommended L-arginine for that too.

    Hi Ladies,

Just thought I'd check in and let you know I'm finally getting the hang of the Magic Wand.  Embarassed  It takes some practice... but it does have an amazing payoff.

    Thanks for the encouragement!

Um, okay, not sure where I should post this question but since it could include singles, marrieds & attached alike I thought this might be the best thread.

How many here have a pierced hoo-ha and does (did) it really make a difference in anything? Just curious.....

There was a hilarious episode on The L Word where all of the girls were sitting around naming the different words for it, from Mound of Venus to honey pot and all of the lovely names that men have given it. I wish I could get a copy of the episode to play again whenever I need a good laugh....actually giggle, Deb.....it really makes you giggle!

Anyhow, I'd love to hear from someone with a pierced clitoris and have entertained the thought myself! I'd imagine that it could be very useful for stimulation. Are you thinking about getting yours pierced, Janis?  Very coooooool Cool !!!

OK, about Valentine's Day, I really want to come up with something sexy and romantic, but since J and I are in the very early phase of the relationship and spending virtually every possible moment in bed as it is, it's hard to do much better than that! Maybe I'll introduce food play (like melted chocolate or honey) followed by a bubble bath and massages? Ideas, anyone?

Oh Marin, that is a great idea.  We have never been very successful with the food play (shudder....memories of our honeymoon shenanigans come creeping back!!!!).  I still want to give that a good try.  The Shunga line has some great stuff if you want to check that out again (tastes like candy cigarettes, and does NOT leave a greasy sticky mess!!).

Marin, I was watching some porn and both girls had pierced coochies. :) I was thinking that in light of getting older and that area being less sensitive since chemopause/menopause/less estrogen that the piercing would add some stimulation? Just as nipple piercings do? Just asking because I'm all for enhanced pleasure, KWIM?

I'm with you, Jaybird, but I know I'd worry about getting the thing caught like I sometimes do my belly ring (I catch it on my desk drawer at work!). Maybe a barbell rather than an actual ring would work better..? I guess the piercing tech would know what gauge a clit ring should be Undecided. Can you imagine shopping for extra jewelry and the sales person asking where you'll use it? Surprised Sealed

I'm going to that website to check on those products, Deb. The only thing is that I'd much rather be licking chocolate than candy cigarettes, but I guess the taste isn't exactly the point, huh?

I do have a sweet pink and red corset that will be fun to wear on V's Day. It has garters, so white stockings...or are they too virginal and "nurse-y"?

Marin, they have chocolate sauce, too!  And flavored massage oils.

The thing about corsets with me is that I am totally incapable of putting them on.  Maybe without my DD boobs it would be easier.......

Deb...I'm sure you know that they have corsets with side zippers and/or hooks-and-eyes. The saleswoman in my local sex store, Frisky Business, is a most definite plus size and she adores wearing corsets (so she tells me...she doesn't wear them around the store Surprised), so I'm thinking that where there's a will.....

And speaking of wills and ways, I came across these V's Day-oriented delectables http://www.nawtythings.com/edibles_index.html

And then there's the bubble bath plan http://www.nawtythings.com/lotions_bath.html   Glow-in-the-dark bubble bath...OMG Cool!

And last, but not least, we have some yummy finger paints http://www.nawtythings.com/lotions.html#bodytoppings Oh yeyaaaah!!!! Wink

Anyone ever have a dream that they catch their sweetie cheating on you?

This was an occurance 1 time when we were first married, and it HAUNTED me.  I woke up pissed off at my poor, unsuspecting hubby.  The thought still sometimes creeps into my head, because the dream was that he was with the girl who had such intense hots for my dear hubby that she told EVERYONE that she was dating him (unbeknownst to him).

Isn't that weird?  It isn't like I ever doubted my hubby's love, nor do I now.  I wonder why the mind does that......

I have no idea why I wrote that.

What I was going to write was to ask if anyone ever has any such intense, erotic dreams that they play them out in real life.

BethNY's lingerie thread post made me think of when we (dh and I, not BethNY! SurprisedEmbarassed) snuck into his former office after ditching the horrid holiday party last year (2006) and had the most wild, naughty sex of our relationship.  It was AWESOME, and really the first time we had done it in a VERY public place.  There was such a good chance people could have been in the building/office, and that was totally hot.

So, that was what I meant to ask!

Okay, chicas, you just gotta read the article by Valerie Frankel in the January 2008 issue of Self magazine, entitled "The Great Sex Diet." Seriously, this may be all you need (and a tube of lube Undecided) to get yourselves back in business. Apparently, it takes committment, but it sounds like the rewards are well worth it! Although I am alright in the mojo department, I want to be GREAT, so i plan to amp up my diet and buy a Gyne-Flex, not to mention re-committ to my Kegels!

I couldn't find a way to link to the article inline, but here's a synopsis from MomLogic.com:

    The Great-Sex Diet? 01/25/08 6:11 PM

One Mom's quest to improve her mojo led her straight to the kitchen.

This month, Self magazine explores that burning question: What foods will help you have mind-blowing sex? Writer Valerie Frankel, a Mom of two, tests out a "sex diet" and achieves amazing results. She incorporated almonds, walnuts, salmon, cod, halibut, tomatoes, red peppers, garlic, spinach, broccoli, beets, berries, red grapes, orange juice and dark chocolate into her diet. (But not all at once!) Then, she took several vitamin supplements: a good multivitamin, plus 1,000 milligrams of calcium, 320 mg of magnesium and 8 mg of zinc. Valerie also took fish oil supplements, but says those shouldn't be taken without consulting a doctor.

For this experiment, Valerie agreed to quit smoking and stop drinking alcohol or caffeine-something the self-proclaimed coffee junkie was not exactly thrilled about at first. She "worked out" down there using the GyneFlex, a 3-inch-long, 2-inch-wide plastic V she said "looks like a ThighMaster for your vagina." She used it for 15 minutes two times a week.

After three weeks or so, Valerie writes that her "sex life went from a 3 to a 9, seemingly overnight. I can only describe it as 'louder,' set at a higher volume by every measure. I found myself thinking about sex constantly. I couldn't get anything done." Now, two months since the surge, the sex with her husband is still amazing. "We're back to the beginning-the jolt of instant arousal and persistent hum of desire-but we also have the trust of six years together to lift us up to new sexual heights," Valerie concludes. "And the view from above is breathtaking."

Mom•Logic contacted Valerie for her unique advice for Moms. "I would totally recommend the Sex Diet to Moms," she says. "Since parenting distracts women from their libidinous impulses-often to the point of non-existence-they need help reclaiming their sexual selves. Fish oil supplements and the magnesium/zinc/calcium pills will do the trick. Moms do so much for everyone else. Boosting our sexual response and satisfaction is the least we can do for ourselves."

Wow! We can't wait to try the sex diet and check it out for ourselves. Thanks for the tip, Valerie!

Well, if you decide to change your lifestyle because you want to have better sex, and especially if that change includes giving up caffeine and alcohol, you could probably go on any combination of foods and that would happen.

I'm just a skeptic at heart and also believe that sex drive is 99% psychological. (Except for some women who are taking birth control pills or are adjusting to menopause or some other large hormonal event. I've seen women with elevated free testosterone levels have wicked good sex drives and others with none.) There's a reason that they say the best libido enhancer for women is a new partner.

Jorf...I agree that libido is, in large part, psychological and maybe, for some women (and men?), it is as high as 99%. But I also know enough women who have their heads on straight and can desire sex, but no matter how hard they try, they never quite get beyond enjoying it and feeling pretty good....in other words, they just don't feel that "za-za-zoom," as Carrie Bradshaw calls it. Mind-blowing orgasms and highly intense sexual response shouldn't be underrated and are one of the most valuable, enjoyable experiences we can have as human beings, so I think anything that might open the door to that should definitely be given consideration. So I say these lifestyle changes and exercises are worth a shot. I, for one, plan to purchase a Gyne-Flex....and use it religiously! The only thing is that I can't decide if I should start with a "light" or a "regular"...?

Dear me, if you read my post to say that I didn't think lifestyle changes are important then I'm sorry. My response was that I don't believe that there is anything specifically libido related about those lifestyle changes. They are changes that I recommend daily to just about everyone for just about anything. What I am saying is that if someone chooses to make lifestyle changes strictly for their libido then they are focusing on their libido in a different way than just the struggle that you are referring to: Why oh why can't I get into it? v Here I go making myself the best human being I can and I'll bet that will increase my libido.

Does that make sense? Believe me I know about the libido thing - both from my own experience and those of all the women I see in my practice (at least it seems that way). It was cancer that gave me back my libido/put my head on straight about sex. And not because I chose to focus on it. I stopped worrying about it. I changed in all sorts of ways in my life because I realized there was only one. And one of those ways was sexually.

I am a skeptic at heart and question anyone and anything that says If you do this then that will happen. Especially if it involves a product.

I believe that we are in agreement here! There is nothing sexier than a self-confident, open-hearted woman! And improved physical capacity can only add to both the self-confidence and the ability to fully celebrate one's sexuality, right?

Cancer changed my attitude towards my sexuality too and caused me to realize that if I wanted it good, I need to ask for it or provide it for myself. I also became so much less inhibited about my body and its responses. That probaly came, in part, from being felt up by everyone at the UNC Hospitals and needing to walk around topless half the time!

I'm still oh-so-curious about the Gyne-Flex though. I've already got the fish oil and other supplements going on, a great diet, an obsessive Kegels practice (we even do them in my fitness classes Surprised), so a little extra muscle-toning in the nether regions can hurt!
