Oh gosh, no kidding!!!  I did feel two of the pin pricks when I got the lidacane injections...but nothing too bad.  The down side is I wont know if anything is bumping or scratching it...so I have to be extra careful!

Hi SuebeeBC, I got my nips today too.  I had to be put to sleep as I also had some fatgrafting.  I would have loved to watch.  Mine have plastic covers sewn on, kind of gross and I can't really see them.  No pain from nips, but the area where got the fat is soo sore. I will be in breast and tummy binders until I see PS in a week.  How soon are you allowed to shower?

    Christine!  Congratulations on the nips!

Im starting to feel the nip a little - just a little pain, its good to feel it, actually!

And I can shower tomorrow!  I take the guard off, let the water run over it, and put a little bacitracin on it after I dab it dry!

SuebeeBC, I can not shower for 3 days (I am typically a 2 shower a day girl).  I can feel a little burning sensation at the nips,.Like you  I am happy for any feeling.  Did your PS telling you anything about bras with the new nips?  I am in a binder now, with the plastic protectors, but when they come off I wonder if a bra will effect the results. I don't want to squish them.

I will have my guard for a while.  She wants me in a soft/loose bra or preferably a Cami until I see her again....Tuesday....and go from there. I can probably just go commando for now.  I am not working tomorrow but I am on Saturday so it will be loose clothing this weekend.  Im like you - I dont want to squish it!  PS is more worried about rubbing and bumping it though.

How long until you feel better from the fat donor sites??  I am not a wimp, but holy cow, my tummy hurts when I move.  How long before you know if the fat is going to take?

Susan-Soon, but not soon enough. I will have the date set officially next Tuesday at my appointment. I think it will be October 21 as he does surgery on Fridays and my husband will be around all weekend if I need anything. We have a wedding on October 30, so I was thinking about waiting until the Monday after the wedding, but he told me he does not do drains with the implant exchange, so I might go with the 21st. That means that we leave for Hilton Head next Thursday, get back the following Saturday, and it will only be 6 days to surgery!  Woot!

Christine - My FG was 3 weeks this coming Monday.  Nearly all the pain is gone, except if I touch my stomach, it feels like a sunburn.  It seems like I am healing fine, but the skin is still sensitive.  I'm with ya though - I didn't anticpate FG to be so rough!  As far as knowing if it will take, my PS says that if after 6 months the fat is still there, the chances of it staying are pretty great.  Hope you're feeling better soon!

Fluff - good to hear exchange is coming up - yahoo!!!

Exchange date set for 11/4. I had him give me another fill yesterday so he has room to play during surgery. They feel huge and tight today. He asked for 11/4 to give the skin time to settle and grow into the new fill. That is fine by me. As long as nothing happens between now and then.

I will get high profile mentors someplace between 400-450. Told him that he and my friend, one a surgical nurse at the surgery center, can decide. I trust them! Playing on mt new iPad while driving and loving it

I know Lago I feel like I have a dent in my chest of something because I have a 475 and am a D when other friends with 450's are DD's.  I feel like it only looks like a C too.

Hi ladies.  I am probably a D cup right now, and I hate them.  So when I found out I had cancer and was having bmx I told them I want to be smaller.  Do they really encourage you to go bigger?  I am scared b/c I DO NOT want to be bigger.  I was thinking a B cup would be perfect.

I know! I forgot how big I felt with the first set. Went to 480 then and he thought 550 would be my ideal size. Lol whippet mom thought I should be 600 or higher. They might be right but yowza!

I snuggled up to my husbands back this morning and he said holey Moley! TEs arrived before the rest of me. It was pretty funny.

slgarcia05 ~ I'm curious...have you been professionally fitted for a bra at someplace like Nordstrom's?  I'm just asking because I bet you are actually bigger than a D cup in a properly fitted bra.  I thought I was an A/B cup before... but after going to a professional fitter , I'm thinking I was probably a C cup before my mastectomy.  I think most of us don't realize what a true B,C, D etc looks like.

I've posted this before...but it was from a UK website that was talking about how we (Americans) have a skewed idea of what particular bra sizes should look like.  Below is a woman (who did NOT have reconstruction) who measures an average 34D.

Before all this I would have totally bet that she was a B or C.  And this was about the look I was going for when I started this whole thread.  Apparently, I was striving for a D the whole time and didn't know it!!!!

    SusansGarden,

No, I have never been fitted.  Maybe I am bigger than that.  I am so worried.  I don't want to be as big, or even close to, what I am right now.  Tired of buying shirts to fit my boobs instead of the rest of me.  Thank you so much for the info.  Maybe I will go get fitted tomorrow, before my surgery on Monday so I will know.  Can you just walk in and do it, or do you need an appt?  Thanks again!

    Shannon

Apparently, there is not a Nordstoms where I live, or even close.  Is there anywhere else to do get measured?

Well... hmmm.... Victoria's secret isn't the greatest for fitters but it's better than nothing.  I suppose any store that has a well stocked bra/lingerie deptartment might have someone?  I would call up and ask.  I wish I would have went for a fitting before my mastectomy (just out of curiousity).  My hubby and I did make a plaster "bust" of my torso right before I had my surgery....but I don't think I could get an accurate fitting from that! Tongue out

Susan that's wahat I looked like in a padded B before. I'm much fuller now but also project a little more so I'm thinking I'm a c inspite of the D cups.

    Oh NO! linky
