    Love the link Lago!!!!

    I wouldve bet she was a B - C max....Its what I was thinking when I said I wanted to be a full B small C!!!  Of course I am only a 30 and not a 34 but still.

I tried on a 32F today - yes thats right....it was sitting with the 32Ds and I had no clue until I got it on.  I put on my reading glasses to make sure I got it right.  The cups WERE a little too big though so that made me feel better.  If they had it in an E I wouldve gotten it!

Actually lago...you are thinking you are a C based on what you thought a C should look like when in actuality you are a D and look like a D in the true measurement sense of the word but most people don't think a D looks like that so you think you look like a C that most people think a C looks like, but they are all thinking based on false thinking.  Tongue out

Hey... found an interesting image that does a good job illustrating how the cup size changes with the band size but the volume stays the same.

I do think  the 34D cups are a little more snug and fit better than the 32DD. I do agree I look more like a C but not sure if a 36C will be wide enough. Guess I need to try that one some da y .

I notice the difference in the wires from a 32D to 30DD....I feel more secure in the 30s.

Anyway - added pics of the bra excursion today - plus a front and side view of the nip (which was hard to do by myself!) and a full frontal - Im at 16.5 weeks now!

I still love this thread after all this time!  I am loving the cup/band added explanations, Susan!  It really is crazy how different we all wind up.  I know that my foobs are waaay bigger than I was, I wore a 34/36 A or B, whatever was on sale...reallly?!?!  I will admit that I never filled out the top half of the cup, (thanks to nursing and/or pregnant for literally, almost 4 years in a row) but wore them anyway.  Now I think I needed a smaller band, who knew?

I was looking in the mirror at the gym today and when I saw my reflection, I thought I looked way more proportional than before bc.  I think my PS got me to a managable size that matches my figure.  phew :-) !!!

Sue - I still want to try out a 30 band, as I wear my 32's they are good, but I still wonder if 30's could be nice and snug...BUT question to you smart ladies - If I am a 32 DD, what would I be in a 30 band?  30-what? I lose track of the sucession of band sizes to cup sizes around this point Tongue out

    Megan DDD or F!!!  Wheeeeee!!!

You wouldve filled out the 32F I had on today - I posted a pic.  I was just a little to small for it. I find that it really depends on the manufacturer!  Chantelle runs way big in the band for me so I NEED a 30.  But some are the opposite and I need the 32.  You really need that try-on to be set on the last hook and be snug but not tight.

Oh Megan lets just go shopping together again and work this all out!!!  Wink

Firedancer the formula is simple. If you go down a band size you go up a cup size

    -band with +cup

    +band with -cup

I assume E comes after D. I never ventured passed the C aisle when I was an A/B Tongue out

This is my favorite thread of all of them so far. It is so much fun talking with all of you. I think I will keep my wacoal bras a bit longer just in case I end up wearing the same size. Lol.

I am now in an 8/10 pants, but still feel like top hasn't changed a lot. And they are so hard. I just don't remember that from last time. It is crazy. I think I will tell him no to 450s. These 420s feel gigantic and heavy. I don't know if the implants feel just as heavy but if so, I won't like it.

I told him I want him to suck as much fat out of my middle as he possibly can, even if he doesn't use it all in my foob area.

The implants WILL NOT project as far or be as hard.  Period.  I was overfilled to 550 and ended up with a 475 implant....its SO NOT even close.  The TE was high, hard, tight, uncomfortable and strangely huge (like my friends stared).  Now its smaller than my augment side - more flat, MUCH softer and pliable...and if my frame couldve handled it, I would wish for the 550 projection back!!! Just sayin!

BTW anyone on the pict forum that wants to see picture of me beat out of the gang… butt/leg bruises are posted. The nips/boobies are still pretty wrapped up. Bruising not as bad up there. Should have photos of those later in the week after I see my PS on Wednesday.

I look worse than last time.

Just got a quick peak yesterday. They look nice but of course a little big. I'll let you know Wednesday when I can get a longer look.

They are supposed to be bigger because they shrink later, right?  I bet you are happy to be pretty much done!! No more surgeries!! Laughing

Yes they "shrink" or flatten out. My PS commented that they are big right now and not to be too concerned. Lefty is no longer too low and the fat grafting looks great. Not sure how much will stay but it does look good. He added more to the sides and upper poles. No more ripples.

He wants me to continue to massage just not touch the nipples. Problem is left (where pocket work was done) is still very sore. I'm not as aggressive as I should be on that side.

I am just chimming in I had very LARGE girls (DDD) prior!

I love my new girls. Once they settle in and become more my own. I love the freedom of no BRA hey less to buy and more to save. I only wear support style tank tops now. I have every color and plenty of matching panties.

Ditto I love this convo ladies.

Hi Lago!! Nice running into you again.

I see that you are finished the process basically. I am just waiting on nipple re-construction.

How are your nails???. Mine are so cute. Biotin REALLY works my hair is nice as well as my nails. I can't stop painting them. I am now OPI #1 customer.

Hi Fighter. Fingernails look OK when polished but several are still lifted and a little tender. Some of my toenail are ruined. Left large toenail grew in wavy, right large toenail is permanently lifted small left toenail is 1/2 the size in width. My podiatrist does not believe this will go away. Not a huge deal. Just hope some day the fingers go back to normal.

Everyone seems to really love my short hair. It's really easy too.

I still have tattoo to do but that's done in the office. I bet they probably numb the area, not that I really feel anything there anyway. I'm just happy no more general anesthesia. 2 years the port will be removed.

So when are you doing nips?

SusansGarden, that pictorial is very interesting. Especially in terms of breast placement on the torso. Before my UMX, I looked like the 32E silhouette. Now the space between my breasts is more like the 36D picture. That's unacceptable to me. Hopefully revision surgery will correct things, as well as the "push" (cleavageability? whatever, you all know what I mean!).

Last winter, after I had lost 20 lbs and my cheapy 34B bras looked ridiculous on me,  I went to Nordstrom for a professional fitting. I was a 32B on my right side, and a 32A on my left. So I bought 32B bras (Natori underwire). Now after the TE exchange and implant, my right side is busting out of the B. The left side isn't so bad, since that side got lifted. So my point is this... I knew exactly what size I was pre-surgery and specifically told my PS I did not want to get any bigger; match to the smaller side, please! ugh...

So today's good news is that I finally tried on that 32B underwire bra, and while I've gained a bit of that weight back (4 months of no yoga will do that to you, as will emotional eating, regardless how much running I've been doing), the bra fits!

orangemat ~ So it sounds like 32B was tight right after the exchange and now it fits?  Though it sounds like you still want to get a revision?  You want your breasts to be closer together? (I'm easily confused, sorry! Tongue out )

Sorry, it's been a tough week today...

Upshot of the story is yes, I'd like them closer together, just as they were before surgery. The right side is bigger than a B now after surgery. That's all I meant to say.

Glad you are so pleased, lago. I will have to go check out your nipples! Tongue out

I had a weird conversation with a friend last night....she was asking how I was doing ...how often I had to see the doc.  I told her every 4 months ~ she asked why so often? ~ I told her that they are checking for recurrence.  She said, "Oh.. so if you had a recurrence they would adjust your medication (tamoxifen) ?"

She got that whole sad, horrified face when I told her, "No. A local recurrence would mean I'd be facing another surgery and probably chemo".

I mean.. it was a totally innocent question on her part.  Perhaps I would have thought the same thing pre-BC.  Makes me realize I know WAY more about BC than I ever wanted to!

You might not get more chemo for a local recurrance. Surgery and rads I thought. BTW I see my BS once a year and my onc once a year ( basically see someone every 6 months) now that I have passed my 1 year NED. First year I saw every 3 months (onc and BS switching off). Not sure what happens after 5 years. I was told I see my BS for life. Not sure about the onc.

Lago - hope you are liking your FG!  I'm down to just some light purple bruising that almost looks like a veiny-thing in certain areas that are last to heal from the inside out, at least thats how it looks/feel. The skin is still sensitive to the touch in certain areas, but seems to be doing well... I love the effect the FG gave to my slope - hope yours is going well, too!

Susan - It is still wierd when I get into a conversation about how things are "going" (and I'm DCIS so no tx plan).  but even after this FG session, it was like people were surprised things were still happening, since my last surgery in March was the implants, it seems everything should be done and over with, according to the majority of people.  Well, I sure hope I am done for a while, but the shocking faces I get when I say that I'll probably have 3 or 4 pairs of implants in my lifetime (geesh, maybe more!) I have kind of assumed this stuff as a part of my lifestyle from now on, BS once a year, PS for now every 3 months, LE specialist every 3 months).  I think majority of people think that once you get passed this place with MX-stuff you are done, obviously we know it's different... I definitley have noticed that I "tone down" my conversations re: what I know about bc.  I think we have learned so much that sometimes it's easy to forget that the "average" person doesn't have to plan for "any and everything" re: bc. My older sister started Tamoxifen as a preventative (she's at 40% risk at 42 yrs old with no personal mamm issues, just family hx) and I don't want to totally freak her out  about the "what if's", she is pretty scared of the "what if's" already.  My sister is doing the best she can and I just keep quiet about the "scary-stuff"..., as long as she is getting the proper care, which thankfully, in some wierd way since I've walked this road I have been able to guide her a bit better. She is fighting her insurance who denied her MRI, really?!?!?!

anyway..... All we know is we took the best route to wind up on the best side of this messed up-situation...and I feel pretty darn good that we've all done a good job at that!!! xoxo

Yay Fluff. Time to get those coconuts replaced!

I don't sweat the scans anymore. Until they say "Houston we got a problem" I'm not going to stress out about it.

Megan How you doing? My soreness has gone way down… so now I can feel how bad my neck/shoulders are from that car accident back in September. I'm back in PT. Frown

Megan ~ I hear you about "toning" down the BC conversation for some.  I can't believe insurance is denying your sister an MRI.  How long is she going to be taking tamoxifen?

Fluff ~ Your exchange is right around the corner now!  You'll be looking and feeling good for the holidays. :)  I have my final FG shortly after your exchange.  Then I will be DONE. :)

lago ~ Sorry to hear you are hurting from a car accident.   I saw your leg brusing! Yikes you sure do bruise up easily!  Your girls were looking quite lovely.  Dare  I say you are back to "stripper boob status" with the swelling? ;) How are your nips healing?

The nips still look like Franken nips. What's with the black stitched. I'm guessing these are ones the PS will remove. I assume they are black so they can find them. The bruising actually got a little worse for a bit. It now goes behind my knees. It's getting better though. Swelling is going down on boobies and thighs. Water retention gone. Now if I could only ditch the compression garment and the protective gauze on my nips I'd be even happier.

But yes my legs have always bruised easily.

Tongue outLago - I'm still liking the FG, my skin is still very slightly tender (to the touch) in some spots, kind a spider vein-look, I am pretty fair and I think it's just my transclucent skin, too.  Up top, I still think FG made a huge difference, after the swelling went down it isn't as "full", but still waaay better looking.  I picked up my surgical report yesterday (I love to read those things and see what "happened" while I was under, I found the BMX report so amazing! ;-) The PS placed 25 ml on each divot-area.  So, if the majority stays put, I'll be happy.  I go back in December, and if 3 months after that I am happy with the results, PS says that should be it, if fat is going to be re-absorbed it usually occurs within first 6 months of procedure he claims. Glad the soreness went down, but yikes to the car accident!  Are you ok?  I hear ya on the bruising, I seriously have never seen anything like the bruising I had, just a pure spread of purple from ribs to crotch, lovely picture, huh?!?! Tongue out

Fluff - not too much longer now!!! 11/4 is just around the corner!!!

Susan - I should re-phrase my sister's MRI - issue, she is now fighting insurance to cover more $.  If not insurance will only be paying something like $500 or $700 and she is looking to have more covered since this is a necessary procedure.  If she was brought to the hospital for a MRI resulting from an accident it would be covered 100%.  I just worry with the passing of time that something hasn't been found/is lurking in there.  She had a clean Mamm, but we all know how that doesn't give the whole "picture".  She started tamoxifen this summer and is on the 5 year plan for prevention.  Our family history doesn't give her a great chance of escaping bc, plus she is almost 5 yrs older than me. Right now she has a 40% risk. I feel I have to tone down my "passion" for testing, etc with her. I called yesterday re: getting an ultrasound, you know, the breast density-thing? (I think I sometimes make her crazy, I can be kind of relentless ;-). She has dense breasts and I just worry that everything is taking too damn long to get all the pieces to this so she knows what she is looking at, hopefully it will still be the road to prevention, but the whole story would be nice to have, it's been since the spring this has dragged on, ugh!
