Oh lord....I can't wear "skinny jeans"! Not with this pear shaped tree trunk legged body! "Boot cut" is my friend. However (comma) I am having the fat grafted from my inner thighs tomorrow. Hmmmm...0
-
Good luck susansgarden! I hope my ps wants to fat graft because i want it sucked out of my middle. Although he says i might think its flabby but there isnt a lot of fat there.
I think hes wrong.0 -
Hate to tell you this but my BS took fat from my thighs this time. He said he found plenty of fat. Looking at my bruising at the time I bet he did. But… my thighs are still big. I really don't notice any reduction is size. He took it from my outer thighs, or at least that's where the bruising started.
Good luck tomorrow SG.

Susan - I am sure all will go GREAT at your FG! Let us know how you are feeling
I was told I wouldn't see a difference in my size at my FG areas, and I definitey wear the same size, but I think things might be a bit "tighter" in the hip/belly area...here's to hoping that tight feeling lasts through the holidays!!!

Heres a new wrinkle....I broke out in ginormous hives today. Wasnt even sure which doc to call. Lol. After talking tonurse practitioner and my ps, the onlything we canfigure out is it is either cipro or bactim, and that maybe ican no longertake sulfa.
I took a hydoxyzine at 6 and helped enormously. Slept all night though. Waiting for 20 more minutes to take another one as I am starting to itch again!0 -
That stinks, Fluff! Are you taking pain meds? Those made me itch like mad - sounds like your situation was more intense than just a benadryl-fix... Glad the office got you something to help, it sounds like what you're taking is working, tho! Feel better

Seems a little better today. The huge welts are much smaller today and the itching lighter. Ps called in steroids but i am trying to resist them. Getting ready to take myfirst atarax for today and sleep and then reevaluate tomorrow.

When I got hives several years ago the steriods didn't work. The Claritin did but I don't remember which Claritin I got.

I'll be seeing the PS tomorrow. I hope he tells me I can quit wearing the surgical bra. A sports bra would be better than this thing!
I am posting this question on a couple of sites as I am not sure where it fits. I have a great relationship with my oncologist and plastic surgeon and am thinking of getting them something for Christmas. I found a great gift for my onc, who is very spirtual, but for the PS, something funny or office oriented would probably be better. He is a lot of fun, as is his office. I know I can do the basket and cookie kinds of things, but was trying to think of something creative.
He has had his own practice for three years, so the office is reasonably bare.
Any ideas?

Googleberg can find anything!

Lago....what site is that on? I love it and so would he.
Had my checkup. i can graduate to a sports bra as long as it has wide snug sides for the lipo area. Gotta wear it round the clock for a month. He said I have one area that is really thin skinned and he wants to fat graft around it when he does tattoes or nipples. Also said that my capsule tissue was really thick which he also thinks is due to the infection. He cut it way down but said it could be a sign that I could get capsular contracture. He has already figured out how to fix it though if I do.
He was very impressed with how it looked and made a point to show me all the reports that said there was no infection in the cultures.0 -
Congrats on graduating to a sports bra, fluffq! I was wondering about Christmas gifts too. I've never given gifts to a doctor before. I don't really see my Onc much and since I didn't do chemo ~ really didn't develop that kind of a relationship with him or his staff. But I could definitely see doing something for my PS and his staff. He's operated on me 4 times in less than a year and between the fills, follow ups, pre-ops, post-ops..the staff knows me by name like "Norm" walking into the Cheers bar!
I had my last FG done last Thursday. Took from the inner thighs..not too bad for soreness..plenty of bruising. I am kind of surprised how swollen my breasts are though. They haven't swollen up this much in the other surgeries...was actually kinda concerned. Doc thought they were healing normally at post op appt Friday. He did mention he put in 75cc in each side, which I believe is a lot more than he has done before. I'll have to ask on my next appt this Friday.

Ok, I just ordered it Lago. It is coming from the UK! LOL. That one might even be better since all we do every time we go in is flash our foobs! It is pretty funny as this is the kind of relationship I have with the PS, and then the onc, who is right next door, is all spiritual. I got him an inukshuk sculpture. Has a whole story about how the Inuits built them to point the way to things and it represents teamwork in accomplishing a task, etc. Thought it was kind of fitting and unique.
Lago-I don't know what you used for a search query, but I tried everything I could think of and still didn't come up with anything even close to that. Did pull up a lot of porn potential though!
Susan-I walked in today, looking all cute as if I didn't just have 5 surgeries over the past 12 months. They greeted me the same way! The two older folks sitting in the waiting room looked shock and then just stared me down. (of course that was in between the time the woman was clipping her fingernails with her clippers. I was so grossed out. Told the PS he better wear gloves when he sees her.)

First search terms under images "booby prize"
Second search terms also under images "booby prize, trophy"
Looks like the UK store sells both of them. This was easy.

LOL. I wasn't under the images part, but I did "Boob trophy" boob statue, etc.
There is a company called "Lush Cosmetics" that my neice loves. She gave me a jar of cream called "Lovely Jubblies" when I was able to start working on scarring. It was pretty funny.

First-off, this Booby-prize business is cracking me up!!!
Susan - How are ya doing? So you are feeling a little more swollen than past fg-ing sessions? 75 cc's does seem like alot. I think I got injected with 25 cc's on each side and I felt swollen. How many cc's have you gotten injected in all? Ha! I just chuckled because I sound like a math word probem, been practicing with my 8 yr old, maybe I could throw in a FG problem for her..."at the first FG session Sally got 30 cc's, then received 45 more at the next surgery...how many cc's did Sally recieve in all..." ...well, seriously now - I hope you are liking the look and feeling better!
Happy Thanksgiving to all my "small-foobed" friends on this thread! To think back over the past year and we have supported eachother through this madness, it was a crazy time, - I am thankful for you all! Enjoy the day!!!

Same to you fire-dancer but I'm not small boobed anymore. Still not quite used to that. I still look at the Calvin Klein bras then I realize I can't fit into those anymore. I'm too full now.0
-
I was defintley making a joke about the small-foobness! I think the small-foob boat has sailed on by most of us around here! ...and yes - what is with those Calvin Klein bras? I have tried several and I cannot wrestle these babies into any of them, The fullness makes my cup runneth over! ;-)0
-
Calvin Klein did just come out with a line that has more coverage but I have yet to try them on. I haven't seen them on sale yet though.

Happy Thanksgiving to my "small" boobed friends as well!
It has been quite the year, hasn't it Megan! I too am thankful for the support and knowledge I've gained through this site..and of course the friendships!
Regarding your cc math problem ... I have no idea how many cc's he has put in before this. But when he mentioned the 75 cc's ..he said it like it was unusually more than before. Here's the kicker. None of my bras fit anymore! My cup runneth over like Christina Aguilera squeezing into her recent AMA's dress (google it - it's horrific! And doc doesn't want anything too tight that would squish the FG area right now. I don't want to go out and buy any new bras since this could still be swelling (I'm only 2 weeks out). I do like how they look though.. any ripples are completely gone. So I hope a majority of it stays.. but that will suck to have to go buy new bras. I'll just have to wait and see!

Wow! No bras fit, huh? I'm sure you've got swelling going on, but with 75 cc's, even if some got absorbed, I would imagine that would run ya cup size or so bigger, right? Was the fg done primarily up top? I am psyched you like the way the look, though...and hey, Christmas is coming, what better gift to recieve from the hub than new bras, right?!?!
...I like to hear that you ripples are diminished, I really can't see any on me, except on the BC side when I contort and bend, there's a verrrry slight ripple. My step-off looks MUCH better/natural, but I toy with the idea of one more go-round, but worry I'd get top-heavy. I think I mentioned on this thread that I've got a bony upper chest and I am not sure FG is the answer, I think it's just "me". I go back to my PS in a couple weeks and I'm going to ask about that...shoot, to fix my problem I'd have to get FG injected into my collar-bone area and down!

Non of my bras fit soon after the TEs either so I tossed t hem before exchange. BTW for an inexpensive wire free bra I got these: They are buy 3 get one free at Macy's right now. My PS didn't want me wearing an underwire right now. Not sure if it's because of the fat transfer or because of the exchange done on lefty.
Bali Comfort Revolution wirefree Style: 23251
I also got these for my nipples:
They are hand washable too.

Checking in as one of the girls who really did stay smaller! Although I havent been to buy bras yet. Almost three weeks out and I still have to either wear the surgical bra or a snuf sports bra mainly due to the lipo on the sides which also looks good accordi g to him. Lol
He is going to fat graft around the right side where the infection was and the skin is thin there. I am having him get me an estimate for a full lipo to see what the difference would be.
Fire-dancer-i am laughing over the math problem. Can you imagine the teachers face if your kid spouted off the "extra" homework at school?
i received the trophy a couple days ago. I changed the plate to say "my favorite plastic surgeon" but it is hysterical. Totally looks like I felt every time. He would come in and I would throw my top open.
Glad to hear everyone is doing well. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!0 -
I was a 36D before. I think I plan on the remaining good boob being a B now. less boob to get cancer in. DH wants a C,but oh well.

For the peeps that are interested I did update my photos on the pict forum. I swear I am at least as big as my TEs now. I told my PS I thought my TEs were hugh. He must of transferred a lot more fat than I thought. I know I still have about 4 months for some of that fat to disappear.

Lago, I checked out your pictures. You look great! I want to make sure I get the fat grafting done while it is still winter and cold. I have bad enough hot flashes now, I don't want to be wearing spanx 24/7 all summer. LOL. I am hoping for later January or sometime in February.
I also asked him to quote me a price of full lipo of the stomache area. Figured I might as well at least explore it if I am already going to be under and having some anyway.

Thanks. I have some very slight rippling that isn't really noticeable on the inner side of left. If it doesn't get any worse I'm fine with this. I hope it doesn't. For all I know it could even improve since lefty was the side that had the revision. I really wish my scars would lighten but I know that takes time. Even some of the scars from over a year ago still need to lighten up a bit more. I think I'm on the 2-3 years plan. I do know my PS's nurse said they can lighten them with a laser but I'm sure that isn't covered by insurance. Till I get a permanent full time job I wouldn't even consider that.
The first time I did wear the spanx in the summer. It wasn't as bad as the second time. The second time I he took it from my thighs/butt so I needed to wear ones that covered my thighs. First time only my tummy. Do not if you do full lipo you will have to wear it longer and it will be a bit more painful. They really don't take that much fat for fat transfer compared to full lipo.
I hope you can get a good discounted tummy lipo. This is one place I have no issues. I just need to start up crunches again to firm things up.
