Thursday morn will be at endocronologist at 7am our time, augh, it is a two hr drive one way but they had cancellation and I grabbed it instead of wait a month, so I am committed. He does bioidentical hormones and I am anxious to know I am doing the right thing w my choices and what my levels are now, a doc is a doc but I want a specialist on the same page as I am, am so excited to have found him.

Don't know if I told you about my longggg talk with the Onc yesterday - I am going to give Arimidex another try... its been a year so maybe this time I can make it work ... just really didn't want to take the tamoxifen route...

GMA--I can understand not wanting to do the Tamoxifin, it seems from your stats you have tried them all.....have you asked or explored if it is possible your symptoms are from a dif med you take? I say that as I started a dif statin (zocor)at the same time I started femara. Started to get nasty leg pains and of course blamed it on the femara. Switiching did not work and nothing worked until I finally stopped the zocor cold turkey. Magic, no more pain. Cardiologist said, yeap that is how it happens. He switched my statin and no more leg pains.
so maybe think about your other meds and any changes?

Shampoo Warning: Don't wash your hair in the showerShampoo runs down your body when you shower with it. So I don't know why someone didn't figure this out sooner, as most of us have used shampoo in the shower.
When I wash my hair, the shampoo runs down my whole body, and printed very clearly on the shampoo label is this warning: "FOR
EXTRA BODY AND VOLUME."No wonder I have been gaining weight!
Well! I got rid of that shampoo and I am going to start showering with Dawn dishwashing soap instead. Its label reads: "DISSOLVES FAT THAT IS OTHERWISE DIFFICULT TO REMOVE."
Problem solved! If I don't answer the phone I'll be in the shower!

Proudtospin: I'm not anything that it reacts or supposedly reacts to the med..we went over that the first time... the issue was, I think, that the radiation flared up my arthritis in my neck, and the breast pain and swelling I was having (Started a year ago july) was Lymphedema.and nerve damage.. now that I have those two things basically under control, the arimidex might not be as bad this year... He told me to give it a try but if the severe headache (so bad I couldn't see) comes back, I am to stop immediately - wait 4 weeks and try femara...it is a long process but he feels 1 of the 3 AI's are better for my situation than tamoxifen would be..

GMA, sure hope you figure out the meds, nasty if they can not make one that doesn't give you a reaction, headaches, not had that reaction myself~~so good luck finding the funky key to this stuff!

GrandmaFoley - good bird, I feel like that somedays, like dealing w waitress today, I was not even close to feeling like a cute little mad bluebird, I felt like that one you posted, gggrrrrr, we left a $2 and we usually leave min $5, that is how bad, and I want to never have her again, thought she had left the establishment, the last straw was Hubby and I both order over easy eggs, at this place they always come hard anyway and the waitresses take them back. She brought food while he was checking on neurotic dog, asked how all was, I said he ordered over easy eggs, those aren't. She did not comment, I said, Kim just takes them back and gets over easy. She said, well, you let me know. I said, I did just let you know, but she was already gone. Hubby came, I said do not dare to eat those in front of me, send them back for over easy. He did , he would have anyway. She did stop back and ask if the eggs were all right, he said, no as he dumped them onto saucer and she had an attitude. wwwaaaa I go out to eat to de-stress and get stressed over this cuz it never ends.
Linda - I have been using wrong stuff too, hahaah you had me going for a minute there. Reminded me of the product a co had out some yrs ago called Fat Grabbers, I took the bottle to my fat women's group for show and tell on stage at a legit conference getaway... There were about 75 fat women attending and when I started to open the bottle the entire room started yelling "NNNNNNoooooooooo don't open it!" Get it, the fat grabbers would have grabbed us, but that one went right over my head, truly dense. Who says fat women do not have a sense of humor, LOL, just like cancer women having a sense of humor, throw us in a mix and give us the edge like stupid people, we will take it and run. That was the same weekend half of us were swimming at night, half of those skinny dipping, me too, I admit it, and a lightning storm was coming, thunder, seeing lightning in distance and finally the true comedian among us said, and I quote.... "Suppose we had better get out? Or the headline in the morning will read 'Deep Fat Fried'."

GMA & PTS---all the AI's reacted with my Norvasc. Cytoxan did too. Genelex drug checker==free 1 month trail view video for how to use. I didn't Duh If all else fails read/view the direction. I had to find all this out my self. None of the doc's or pharmasist ran a drug interaction check. Very short story on how they tried to kill me.
