Websister, are you feeling better?  Hope so!

As for the birthdays, a long time ago many of us posted answers to basic questions and fun facts.  It is from these that I know a few birthdays.  Just don't want anyone here to feel that I am picking and choosing as many more have joined the thread since then.

    and for Believe...

Happy Birthday momof3.....hopefully u will feel better soon.xxxx

My brothers results came back as inconclusive as to what type of cancer itis????...and so we are waiting once again!.  Drs have told him that it does not seem to have spread so good news is likely.....but as u all know until u get those final results....that means nothing.  I have been very busy at work and have spent quite a bit of time in the uk setting up an office....I also managed to obtain my international cpc exam....but better still i gave booked a few days in Austria in April...for me, Dh and DD.  My Dh godson is getting married there...we were not going to go as we are heading to spain in June, but then i remembered you only get one chance in life to experience these events......so now im really excited!

Im glad everyone is doing well.....lostin mo...you are always in my prayers, as is this group.xx

    Have a great weekend.

Juneaubugg - I agree with everyday we are alive is a celebration!!!!!!!  I am praying for your Mom also!!!!!

I am feeling 100% better now!  I told my DH yesterday that there would be no more Zometa infusions since I felt so horrid, but today I am better and we decided that I will try at least one more since they say the first infusion is the worst. I will make sure any future infusions will be on a Friday though so I can sleep and do nothing the next day!

Ireland - I am sorry your brother is still waiting for results, but we are all still praying he gets good results!

    Hugs to everyone else!

Hi Lisa! Good to see you too!

Momof3, happy to hear you're feeling so much better, and thinking of going for the next infusion. Brave girl! This disease is not for cissies.

Ireland, praying for your brother's results, and for Lostinmo.

Marian, how are your trek plans coming along?

liefie I leave on March 6 and with all this snow, have not gone walking for a few days~~may snowshoe tomorrow and to be honest have been feeling tired so not worrying too much about my fitness~~I have two weeks there before my group arrives to acclimatize and do a short trek. Weird having snow 3 days in a row in Vancouver in late February! What is it like on the island?

Marian, we've also been getting snow for the last week now. Woke up to it again this morning, and it's still coming down. Yes, it is weird to be getting snow this late. We do live in Canada though, and we tend to forget it sometimes. LOL. Enjoy your last preparations - it is so amazing that you can do this again!

As yes the beautiful snow! I'm sitting in my dining room watching the flurries while the sun is out. This weekend was gorgeous (50's!) and much of it melted but still have lots of piles around.  Now it's cold again. As long as it doesn't snow anytime soon so the road guys can fix the craters from hell!

Tazzy, DH dug up huge parsnips from my garden yesterday through the snow. Fog today after sun yesterday. I know how lucky we are here on the coast! In fact we went snowshoeing yesterday above the fog and it felt like spring on the mountain.

Marian :   I am so jealous - parsnips already.   I love parsnips too.   I know it will only be a couple of months.   Waiting for the polar vortex to pass by before even heating the greenhouse.   Where do you snowshoe?  Cypress?  I remember when we lived in Vancouver getting above the fog - beautiful times.

Hello my favorite ladies!  I'm only able to read on my phone but you are all always on my mind. I wish everyone the very best always! We are in Laughlin again. Every day is another day in paradise here. I won't tell you the weather but it could melt your snow in minutes. Don't hate me :-)

Mom of3 - glad the infusion challenges are behind you. Happy Belated Birthday!

Aruba - I'm sure your dad is enjoying your company, you are such a good daughter.

Tazzy - hate to tell you - I've never tasted a parsnips.

Lostinmo - I hope you are doing ok and enjoying the weather in Tucson. We will be here for a while, if you come back to Quartzsite, let me know.

Sendin you all lots of gentle hugs.

Tazzy these are parsnips planted last spring. Down here on the coast they are best after frosts and winter well. Believe, parsnips are amazing~~shaped like carrots but when roasted are so sweet! Cypress was where we snowshoed yesterday and as you say, above the fog~~beautiful!

Liefie, Congratulations Grandma! So glad to hear the news!  I just bet your new role in life is one of the most fulfilling...can't wait to find out (down the road I hope..weddings first)

Lisa2012-how nice to "see" you again!, how is life treating you?

Ireland- hoping for good results for your brother and Spain sounds divine!

    Momof3-glad you are doing better!

Websister-hope you are all better too

Tazzy-I cant wait to get in garden, i bet you are dreaming of that shed 😋

For once, I am not jealous of Believe's beautiful weather as it is gorgeous here in Fl too.  I left snow, cold and wind in Ohio for sun, warmth and seeing Dad's smile..priceless!   Hugs to all!!

Marian:   I don't think anything would survive our winters here but in all honesty I really didn't do any research into it.    When we lived on the North Shore my DH used to be Guest Service Manager at Cypress.

    Congrats Liefie - how precious.

Aruba.... so looking forward to the shed.

    Happy Thursday all xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Congratulations, Liefie - I love her name! Enjoy shopping for pink! I also noticed the new saying at the bottom of your posts - Imperfect is the new sexy - love it!

Lisa - good to hear from you again

Aruba, MarianElizabeth, Believe - keep describing the beautiful places - it really helps to dream on a cold winters day

I am gradually improving, it has been very gradual - today I go and have a holter monitor put on to see if they can catch what my heart is doing - I think it stays on for 24 hours, should be interesting

    Thinking of everyone

    Take care

Liefie - welcome to Emily Anne, love her name! I remember meeting my grandson for the first time. It was love at first sight. Life's little blessings. Have fun shopping, store keepers love new grandmas!

Websister - in your pocket, with cookies for your appt today. Doesn't sound invasive, hope it helps to figure out what's going on.

I think we are all going to be around for a long time :-). Too many things to do, places to go and people to meet in our futures.

    Make it a great Thursday!

when my son was born he was colicky and the only thing that soothed him was his bunks and being swaddled as tight as you could make it. I miss those days.
