Hi Teri--
No sign of Deuce here in the Atlanta area. Just came back from the farmers market, and the guy selling goat cheese said his herd hadn't had any visitors.
It's a glorious day here- perfect October day. Now that your head is better, I hope you can get outside and enjoy some fresh air and warm sunshine. My mom thinks that combo will cure a lot of things, so needless to say, we spent a lot of time outside when we were growing up. Wish it would work on the bc! Now I'm off to do a little gardening, and will have a tomato sandwich for lunch. That's a southern thing, I think.... I use really good white bread, slices of a home-grown tomato, Duke's mayo, and salt and pepper to taste. Wash it down with lemonade or limeade.
Have a restful weekend. Sending hugs your way!0 -
Teri, I went through a time (and still do much of the time) when I just cannot do a painting. So a wonderful artist friend suggested I keep a little stack of watercolor paper cut up, just about 2" x 3", and my palette, a couple brushes, and water next to my usual sitting place. Each day I just puddle a little color onto the paper and let it do its thing. Sometimes I drop in other colors. Sometimes I see something and take some pen and ink to it, sometimes I take it a little further if something pops out at me. Most of the time they are just little paper with color, and when she saw them, suggested I frame them together as a little abstract collection. I used the colors of the day, whether it was sky, sunset, rain, snow, forest, seaside, mountains, desert .... it is enough for me to just do that a little bit when I am so fatigued. If I get the energy up this week I will take a couple pics and post them for you as to what I mean.
Gentle hugs, glad the headache is gone (those migraines can sometimes take a few days to subside!). Will check out the shopping malls this weekend for Deuce - my sister is coming to visit and invariably we have to go to the mall for her. I would rather not, but now that I have someone to look for, it will be more entertaining.0 -
No Deuce-goat in central Ca., but I'm headed to L.A. this week, and would not be surprised to find him in Hollywood, looking for an agent:) Deuce is a star! Thinking of you, Teri, and sending love. I hope those nasty migraines have passed, and you're feeling better.

hi Terri
No sign of Deuce over here in the UK. Just thought I would check in case he had stowed away after all he his a very clever goat. Love all the Deuce story's.
Take care Terri
Hugs Mara x0 -
No goats or people allowed in Yosemite National Park, thanks to Congress. We live nearby, and I always check for 4 legged creatures when I'm out and about. Plenty of irritated tourist trying to find something to do, but no Deuce. Hope you are feeling well enough today to pick up your paint brushes. Take care & hugs. J0 -
morning Teri! I heard tell of a goat driving a pickup out near Uluru and my hopes soared but on phoning the police out there was told that goat didn't have an American accent, he was a dinky diye Aussie........I was so disappointed but the hunt goes on!
Glad the migraine is finally gone and you get a chance to put paint to paper.
Love n hugs. Chrissy0 -
Hi Teri, no sightings of Deuce here in Geelong, Australia, but I did see something strange out on the bay, can Deuce waterski, was that him, or just a hairy man? Lol

Hi Teri,
No sign of Deuce here, in Grand Rapids, Michigan either! I did, however, see a horse in a front yard, in a neighborhood right in the city today! Maybe Deuce was hiding out in the back yard!
Hugs, Amy0 -
We could all announce at church for everyone to be on the lookout for Deuce. That should help. Wherever that silly goat is, I'm sure he's laughing at all of us. Hope you are having a good day today, Teri. J0 -
morning Teri!! Im on my way to the city for a docs appointment and DH is driving so I've had plenty of time to check out the farms as we've driven passed. No sign of that wayward goat by I did see a beautiful goose family, mama, papa and about a dozen goslings all fossiking for their breakfast.
hope you have a wonderful day!
Love n hugs. Chrissy0 -
The goat Search & Rescue squad is out searching for Deuce as well!
No sign of him on this rock wall just yet.

Checking for Deuce every wedding reception hall scouting I do here in the Hartford area.0 -
Afternoon Teri! Yes I've been slack again, slept in after my long day to the city and back yesterday. As reported, Deuce was not glimpsed anywhere along the way and I kept a beady eye out for him as DH was driving.
Hope you day was calm and relaxing and your night filled with sweet dreams.
Love n hugs. Chrissy0 -
Hi Teri,
It's nearly 8am here, I'm awake a couple of hours and really feeling the change in the weather. Autumn has arrived with a bang! Not too cold yet though, perfect for being outside. I hope you slept well and that the day will be a good one.

Chrissy,
Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks Nicky! So do I ......... This vertigo is for the birds..........lol.0 -
Hi Teri,
I hope you'll feel up to some painting today. We are having a beautiful fall day here in NJ. I'll take a walk and see if Deuce decided to take a fall foliage tour back east.

Nicky, ahhh, France! Now I'm picturing Deuce in a beret. The possibilities are endless!
Love to you this morning, Teri!

the search and rescue squad cracked me up Susan, love your sense of humor. Not sure if I am holidaying at the Barrier Reef before Christmas, but if we do I will definitely see if he is wandering around on the coral at low tide! Went down to Surfers Paradise beach today on the Gold Coast and no Deuce, only a couple of Meter Maids in Gold bikinis, but I gave them the drill to keep a look out. So pleased to hear the migraines are better and thinking of you. Love Gail0 -
This hunt for Deuce has definitely gone global. What a great idea Bon! I love hearing of all the places that people are looking for him and the stories that accompany each post.
Teri - hoping that you too are enjoying the antics while resting comfortably. May your days be blessed with sunshine and warmth, comfort and smiles.0 -
Deuce has not been wandering around Indian Mounds Park here in St Paul, Minnesota, Terry. I am sorry, be no meh mehhh sounds here. My doggie would certainly lick her silly if she were nearby. However, the good friend of my good friend is raising goats not far from here, on a small hobby farm near the beautiful Marine on the St Croix. Her 8 year old daughter even has a t shirt identifying her as Goat Girl. So we shall ask her to search for Deuce up and down the St Croix river valley!0 -
Hi Teri,
Does Deuce surf? I thought maybe I saw him down at the beach here in Ventura, Ca earlier.........but maybe it was just a dude named Billie with a goatee......
Really happy to hear that migraine broke! Hope you are finding things to make you smile today.
Hope0 -
Afternoon Teri! I decided on a hunch to travel out to the Burra Gorge on the off chance that Deuce had heard how beautiful it is and gone to see it. After wandering up and down the creek the only things I found were a Koala, a stumpy tail lizard, a few gallahs (pink and grey cockatoos), a couple of magpies (black and white medium sized birds) and loads of bush flys. Deuce was nowhere to be seen........but I'll keep looking!
Hope you day was a good one and you are resting comfortably tonight.
Love n hugs. Chrissy0 -
Reporting in from the southern gate to Yosemite National Park:Dozenshundreds of motorcyclists are swarming thru town. Looks like they want to storm the gate into the park. Such a loud thunderous noise that any goat would flee the neighborhood. Sorry, no Deuce sightings today. It's a perfectly wonderful fall day here. I should be outside soaking up Vit D.
How is your day going, Teri? I think of you often and wish I could visit in person. We have to go to Los Angeles tomorrow, so I'll be watching for Deuce all along the central valley. If he's in the area along hiway 99, he could be feasting on the grapes that are being harvested these days. Talk soon, Jan0 -
I was out in Atlantic City this weekend and there were no signs of Deuce in any of the casinos or on the boardwalk.
Donna0 -
Too much city here for a goat -- he'd have too much competition for food from the geese.
Thinking of you and hoping you are doing well

Afternoon Teri! No I didn't sleep in to day as I didn't sleep at all except for the last couple of hours........my sleep patterns are really up the creek!........grrrrrr! Well I guess some sleep (2 hours) is better than no sleep.......lol.......and luckily I can still function so that's okay.
Heading over to Clare (a little town about 40 kms away) to do my monthly stock up of the fridge and pantry and to get my nails done. That's my treat to myself. I will be keeping an eye out for that wayward Deuce as DH will be driving me again as I still have the wobbles.......lol........looks like I've been hitting the bar when I try to walk without out benefit of the booze........hahahaha!........I am definitely going to take my stick so I don't fall flat on my face........now what a sight that would be!
Hope you are having a lovely day and your fall weather has allowed you at least to sit on the porch and enjoy the fresh air.
Love n hugs. Chrissy0 -
Thinking of you hun, I am also an animal loving sort. Deuce will come home to you, they always do. Sorry you are going through all this, I hate cancer! Hugs J xxxxx0 -
No sign of Deuce here in the nation's capital...well, aside from an awful lot of goat men senators and congressmen...Maybe the only reason they were able to come to a solution to shutting down the government is because Deuce was around to nudge them...0 -
Terri dear,
My search is relatively easier, since we don't have goats in the metropolitan city, istanb ha ha ha... But would still love to see the cute picture of Deuce 😉
Hope you are fine btw..
Hugs dear,
Ebru0
