cherrie- Happy birthday and I hooe everything is ok with your daugter!
Nahahi and Liefe- That is awesome that you guys got to spend time together, officially jealous
Bailey- Safe travels and hope you have fun!
Im missing people I sure, just dropped in to say hello and let you guys know Im feeling a bit better. Tonight is Bunco night....yay! Happy Saturday everyone!0 -
Hey Sweet!!! I just popped a shout out to you on the Diep thread...good to hear it's been a better day....kudos to you for heading out to Bunco...have a wonderful time!!!!
cherrie....can't even speculate re:daughter, but it's good that she is getting special attention....right!!!! Positive thoughts...positive thoughts....
I was supposed to be hiking today, but we postponed it until tomorrow, hoping for a bit warmer temps and hoping that the recent snow is a bit more "gone". The plan is to do my "namesake" trail.....Nihahi Ridge. It was the first real hike I did after my recon....and will likely be the last hike of this season...seemed an appropriate destination.
Just got in from a 7km walk with hubby....it's definitely late fall here....I love the smell of the leaves as you crunch through them.
sorry cherrie...I'm gonna have to go with the blue and gold!!!!!0 -
Go Blue! Sorry, Cherrie and Bailey. They are losing but there is still hope.
Katy, I asked about my thyroid, too. I was already taking levothyroxin at that time. My rad onc just said there would be scatter and the thyroid would probably be "dead" within a year. He implied it was unavoidable, but I don't know.
Sweetpickle, good to hear you are getting out to do something fun!
It's a beautiful fall day here---Nihahi, not late fall yet!---- and it's a good year for fall color. I wish I could get out there and do some cleanup in my garden but I'm running out of time. Church and then Seahawks game on tv tomorrow, MO appt. on Monday, going through Seattle traffic--yuk! Surgery on Wednesday. What gets done, gets done. I did get some new Nikes today so I will definitely squeeze in a walk or two.
I have to say that I am so grateful to have soft, warm boobs. They will never be perfect but heck, nothing else on my body is, either. They feel like part of me. Oh, jeesh, that probably should have been on the DiEP thread.0 -
Oh, Cherrie, I forgot to say that I hope your daughter's condition gets sorted out soon and everything turns out fine.0 -
jeannie.....you're too cute..our boobs follow us (or lead us, I guess) where ever we go, so no need to censor boob comments...especially happy ones!!!!
Seattle traffic is horrific!!!! The times I have visited my sister, I was stunned by how hard it is to get around!!!! It's a beautiful place, but man, between the hills and the bridges...it isn't easy!0 -
Yes, Nihahi, traffic in Seattle can be a nightmare! This will be the first time I go to the MO by myself, so no HOV lane for me. I have a class that night so I hope I get home at a decent time before class. I have learned a lot of back roads to avoid the freeway but at some point I have to join the crazies on their cellphones....It sure better be a boring, non-eventful MO appointment. Praying my lungs sound good! I don't think I'm having a pre-op exam so this will tell.0 -
Oh, Katy! What a heartbreaker of a game!!!!0 -
WHAT HAPPENED?????0 -
I have been watching football all day.......my Ducks beat the Dawgs.....in Seattle. . I guess I'm a PAC 12 kinda girl......
I have an adorable pic of my doggies I want to post, but I can't figure out how.......maybe I will send to Nihahi, and let her try!
Cherrie, I am praying for your daughter......fingers crossed for a good outcome.....
Sweet, you sound better today, I hope you enjoyed Bunco!
Jeannie, you will sail through stage2.....i was surprised by how low-key it really was, ESP. In comparison
with stage 1.......besides, Wilbur is your personal escort through surgery, isn't he?
Okay, I am going to try to upload this photo....again......0 -
movie....the way to insert a photo has drastically changed lately. Is the photo on your computer in a folder somewhere? I think all you have to do now is click on the photo icon..(8th icon from the left), then find your photo and insert it. The old method is I think no longer needed.0 -
nope....not working....hmmmm????0 -
I'm not quite after flap yet, but just about. I have a question. My nipple area does not project yet. Will that area poof out a bit after the last surgery? I know I read where some one asked for and got a small tissue expander about a ping pong ball size there. (I hope I am making sense!) Advice appreciated.0 -
Nihahi, I just emailed you......0 -
Jeannie, it was a TERRIBLE game. Good thing I had Aubrey for distraction!0 -
movie's doggies!!!!!!
well crap...I can see the photo, but when I "post", it disappears.....I'm too old to learn new things!!!!0 -
Movie, I am kinda anxious to see what Wilbur will do to me this time! Should be fun.....0 -
jeannie....how did you post your photos????0 -
Right above where I am typing there is a landscapey-looking icon. I clicked on it and went from there. Easy-peasy for this techno-challenged person.0 -
I know! I am so frustrated! at least you got the "square" to post.....it all went south on me.... I want everyone to see my pretty girls........0 -
oh, now I see your blank photo box. Don't know....0 -
I click on the icon, then what???? Everything I try doesn't work...it's totally changed from the old way.0 -
my daughter's dog, Ginger, a shepherd/bull terrier mix. I just went to the box, chose existing file, I think, and chose a photo.0 -
when I do that....it shows a "countdown" of the image being uploaded, then kicks me right out of the site....I have to log in again and everything!!!!0 -
I have to stop this but I'm trying to remember what I did. I'm working from an iPad, I have a photo library on here. I chose "choose file" instead of upload and then something about "existing." My memory of just a few seconds ago is nil.....0 -
no .....don't stop....I like your pics....yep...that's what i've been doing....fyi....it kicked me out again, right after I submitted my last message.0 -
I don't know what to tell you, Nihahi. It worked for me again! This is a pic of me right after diagnosis, preparing to beat the crap out of bc with the pink bat a bc'er gave me. Haha! Don't have that belly bulge anymore! Or that hair color.0 -
Congrats, Movie, on the decisive win! Someone posted a pic of a duck on a BBQ at the tailgate today. I wasn't too invested in that game. I like local, but my DSIL who is in dental school at UMich, got his master's at U of O. Quick, quack.0 -
Jeannie, I love your photos! Yay for the bike helmets and the pink bat! I'm OK with pink if it's a bat to beat the crap out of BC!0 -
hahaha.....jeannie....LOVE the last photo....I'm getting frustrated.....have tried everything!!!!0 -
Ha ha ha ha...this is too much fun. This is Jerry, my DH, after his backyard safari to get the rat who was eating the oranges off our tree.0
