Micmel, darling, it's time you went on a bender. Seriously. Life has been stone cold shitty for you in the last few months and I think you need to get rip roaring drunk. Put on a bikini and go to Walmart. You need to let it all hang out and go with your bad self. Whistle at highway workers. Howl at the moon. Cry and cry until just little puffs of air come out of your eyes. Then have one hell of a hangover and when you're done, when the last headache has pounded into the distance, take a deep breath, all the way in and say, Here I am and forward I must go.
So much hurting for you and for so many here, all I can say is man, Girlfriend, this is some shitty shit. Hugz.

I went down hard ! My son didn’t even know what even happened. I was a little in shock looking Iike this strange lady bleeding all over a funeral visitation. I looked in the mirror and was like omg I have to go. This looks bad. !!

My SO helped me trim up the little garden recently (despite hating gardening) and the plants really seemed to appreciate the clean-up. Now if only the Plumeria would bloom

Muddling I had steroid shots in my spine. I was unable to do physical therapy until I got this pain under control so I could move.

Muddling ~ tyvm. I am in some pretty good pain. I have to say. I hit hard. Saw stars. I believe I have a slight concussion for sure. Headache, nausea, jaw pain , neck, back pain, shoulder is hurting. Basically my body was jerked around. Another week of healing from something!! Good grief.
Parry~ ty for the flower beautiful friend. Your story touched me. And I will now forever smile when I see your name. That story was made for his thread plus, don't mention how pretty you are in the picture.
Daniel~Tyvm.... you know how it is when your Leslie falls. You just want to take care of her. Which my sweet DH always does and I am so lucky. I am beat up today though!

Minnie - I love Hibiscus as they are also forgiving for my not so green thumb, but your right about the blooms. Mine are gone in a day or 2 unfortunately. I have another that doesn’t want to bloom..I’ll post a pic of it decides to behave

Tanya and Bella - I live in Florida, too, about 3 hours south of Tallahassee. We dodged Michael and even though we got hit by Irma last all, she was nothing compared to Michael. Our hearts go out all of those up there who are still reeling from what happened. Heartbreaking.

Parry you beauty ~💙 I showed my DH that pic and he smiled knowing that is also us as well. He always said to me when he wanted to take my pics. “ what if something happened to you, and all we had were pics of your hand?" Then the next year I was diagnosed 💥. That point was so so truthful. We both couldn't believe it. So now I take the pics. Even though I was never photogenic. I realize he was correct.

Tanya~I realize the accumulation of the heavy chemo prior to oral chemo are making my feet very unpredictable and occasionally I can’t feel where I step. I actually have always been clumsy. But this time I honestly didn’t feel my foot when I stepped. It’s why I fell.
Anyone else ever felt that way? Everytime I go to the doctors they ask if I’ve fallen? No I know why. Every muscle and joint in my body aches.

Would you all believe I think I have lost my mind. I'm watching Wonder Woman. Before that, I watched two episodes of Charlie's Angels. Love love the older shows.
Then it brought me to think of Farrah Fawcett, she died of one of the rarest forms of cancer, Anal...it has been said a link to HPV has been established... which would explain that it was not available when she was a teenager. She was absolutely perfectly gorgeous, and funny! I watched many documentaries on her battle and I gotta say it certainly doesn't matter if you're beautiful. Or an actor... or loaded with money. It just doesn't matter. I found that she was smart and brave. And she also lost her beautiful mane. That she was known for. It was her trademark, per say....
Parry, when you mentioned loosing your long hair. It broke my heart as well because my hair was killer long also. It's growing back. I'm thrilled. But I miss the thickness and the fact that my entire body hadn't been butchered and ruined by rogue cells.

It has just been brought too my attention that another sister has been lost to us. Babs.... from the liver mets and bone mets thread and even maybe ibrance at some point. She was something else. Loved her family and her grandson. She had an amazing bond with her family. It’s very sad to think of how they must feel loosing their matriarch of the family. I am thinking of them all at this difficult time. So very sorry 💔😪

Micmel - I was the same...never wanted photos taken, but I’ve loosened up very much about this and SO couldn’t be happier! Sometimes I think he could have gone into photography. My hair goes to my shoulders now that it’s growing back, but I was surprised to find it’s now very curly so it’s been an interesting road relearning how to style it (especially at this length). You can get your hair to long and healthy again. Im sure there are vitamins and foods that help without that also
I try to think of my scars and how lumpy my scalp is (thank goodness it’s in the back where I can cover with hair) as the proof I’ve lived and fought for this life. I don’t think anyone gets to old age without some scar physical or otherwise. Holmes - Thanks

Holmes~I sure did. Today is the jaw aches. Headaches. And nose aches. It really is annoying when you forget you're hurt when you wipe your nose. pain pain reminds me.
Parry, you will be an amazing Bride and wow it's coming really soon!! My hair is finally doing good. It was curly when it first came in. I always straighten it. I like it better that way. It is below my shoulders now, so I'm hoping to keep my length. I refuse to do another treatment that will take my hair. I've already told my family!

I feel bad when someone passes. I can't make myself address them in past tense. Babs was a really great friend to those who were close to her. She was loving to her family so very much. She was to be admired. Always gorgeous and flawless in her appearance and the way she carries herself was pure elegance. I remember her trip to Israel, and the birth of her grandson. She had some trips to Paris I believe as well. She was amazing! Rip special lady!

Tired out from cooking and cleaning. Getting ready for a 4 day trip to N.C. to see one of my dear aunts, so wanting to make things easy for DH, who is still recovering from rotator cuff surgery. He will have both grandchildren for a couple of the days, so leaving meals, etc. We got our first frost here last night; we now have turned on my big AGA cooker in the kitchen, so it's nice and toasty and, boy, do I love cooking on that thing!
Still feeling well on Madame X. Thinking of each of you as we travel this surreal journey together. Hope everyone is cozy and peaceful tonight and not being bugged by SE's.

MJH~Yup and it was a doosey. Today the swelling Is down, but the pain is here. especially sore. Been real tired. Thinking minor concussion. But every day I'll feel Better. I think what bothers me is the neuropathy that my feet have. It just kinda stops working and it just folds up on you, your toes don't work well either. I am going to have to really watch that. I have it in the tips of my fingers as well. The whole thing just suckssssss! MJH,You're always so busy. I'm impressed by your energy and what you accomplish! I hope you have safe travels and your aunt is ok after rotator cuff surgery. I have had it, it's no Picnic. The physical therapy is the challenge! I wish you well. Be safe hugs ~M~

MJH - My Hibiscuses have been very tolerant, but it doesn’t get too cold out here. You may be able to winterize them though so it’s worth a shot. They do give such lovely flowers:)
Micmel - Glad each day is better. Sorry your still pretty sore though, and a concussion - yikes! Glad it wasn’t worse. I slept like a log. This new treatment has me wiped out. Very stiff muscles and nerve pain, like a pinched nerve in various locations, but I’m here so these are minor complaints. I’m more grumpy about having to get up at 5am to beat traffic for my infusion today, lol. At least I had coffee. It’s my treat on doctor days.

Micmel, hope you are on the mend. I have neuropathy in my fingers and toes. Sometimes have to be careful lifting my feet up steps or down. Afraid of falling, I have done a couple of times but didn't fall as hard as you.
Parry, I have a variety of Hibiscus, same colour as yours, and in a beautiful red, and also a white flower with red in the centre. I have cut most of them back a little as they were getting too big. We don't have frost here so they will grow all winter too.
