Micmel, sorry to hear about your friends passing. Certainly feels like there are a lot of losses right now.....makes me grateful for the good little bits like my grandson and sunny days. Your fall is troubling. I'm also struggling with neuropathy and joint pain, most days it hurts to walk (probably gout, sigh) and I know my balance is off...it feels like I have blocks under my feet. I'm afraid of falling and certainly can't walk fast.
I saw my new MO on Thursday.....i'm Warming up to her. She suggested that I look at acupuncture for the neuropathy, the recent clinical trials are showing promising results....even better than drugs. Has anyone here tried it for neuropathy?

Pots, hello hello!! my feet also feel heavy for sure. I didn't even realize I had stepped up. I couldn't feel it. I also wonder about the aspect of acupuncture. I am on round 22 of ibrance so combined with the AC chemo and then 9 abraxane rounds, and with the oral chemo now every three weeks on and one off. I Amsure it's becoming an accumulative effect to my feet and my fingers as well. I just can't wear certain shoes, anymore. The entire deal stinks. I hope you're new MO keeps impressing you. So important to trust that relationship for sure. Good to see you! Much love ~M~

This is me when my Deeohgee hijacks my food or. Anything he can get his jowls onto!! He’s so quick. I sadly say last night he obtained a ful bag of jolly ranchers and had been burping sour apple all night! Also had to put one of the dogs out in the middle of the night, so maybe they were sharing. The loot! Dogs are certainly something! Aren’t they!?

Good morning
I’m at acupuncture this morning. Next week I’ll get treatment for the neuropathy. I asked her about it while waiting for my husband but my treatment was done. She also said that vit b-12 is good for neuropathy too.
I enjoyed a sunset walk with my DD and GD

Tanya~I am having major issues with neuropathy in my feet, which caused my fall this past Friday. I take b12 pills each day and also take a nerve pill called amitryptiline. But I still feel the tingles. I love to create so I'm upset. I have to have my bra finished by Monday. I am almost done, a few More things, then just touch ups. Your pics are always really awesome and I love the sunsetting in the back of you beautiful ladies. Acupuncture, does that help you? Hope you can get some good rest !
Much love beauty ~M~

Micmel, it could be the amitryptaline causing you to feel extreme tiredness when you wake up. I was prescribed it after a neck injury years ago for nerve pain but only took a dose or two because it knocked me out, made me feel extremely sleepy in the morning and extremely irritable and snappy. You may want to look into Cymbalta which helps with nerve pain without the sleepiness. It also has an ingredient which can give you a bit of energy. I took it joint pain and some tingling on Aromasin/Faslodex/Ibrance and it was great. Also helped with bone pain.

Thank you JFL~. I intend to ask my palliative care doc about that. I do not need to keep being this tired. They always say it's the ibrance. I'm definitely going to bring it up at our next visit. I have blood work and the gammot in November. But I see her before, thank you for sharing. I definitely do not want to fall again. I was lucky this time! Thanks so much ~M~

I can't believe again I have to write about another sister loosing the battle after such a strong fight. Our Magda passed away last night. She was always struggling through with her gorgeous smile and sweet attitude. I am very saddened to loose another sister. I can only say, I'm glad she isn't in pain anymore. All I can remember was her saying don't worry about me, unless I tell you to worry about me. She never got the chance to tell us to worry. She went into hospice and was gone within a week. May she fly high and soar with no limits or pain anymore beautiful Magda! Always love you! ~M~

Micmel, thanks for letting us know about Magda, although it is so sad. I've been reading her posts this year and she seemed so concerned about others even though she was facing many struggles herself.

Just a quick note to let you know that Magdalene51 passed very recently after spending a short time in hospice. I know that she posted on this thread sometimes.

I can’t believe Magda is gone! The last thing i remember is she said that she wasn’t giving up and to not worry about her. So sad!! She will be missed

Magda in her new house. She had big dreams, so sad.
Whoever was talking about Amitriptyline, it knocked me out so bad. Did not like it, but Cymbalta has been a life saver. Help with pain and mood for me.

Holmes~I remember the same thing... about Magda I feel real awful and she was so happy about her house. What a shame, I would have loved her to have more time to enjoy the house...
Waving hello to Grannax! Come down from the fashion High??
i am going to seriously give that some thought ! Thank you ladies. I don’t want to be tired. All the time. I’ll ask immediately! Thanks ladies!
Much love ~M~

Beautiful pics MJH & Tanya
I was thinking of decorating some pumpkins this year. I usually don’t, but it sounds fun and festive.
Is this cancer season or something?
Sorry to hear about another sister. I pray she is in peace now and for comfort for her loved ones.
I had some light neuropathy and regular foot and calf massages (mine was mostly affecting my feet) really helped. I still have some very slight numbness in the tips of my toes, other than that, no pain or tingling. If you know anyone who has some times and 2 hands this might be an option if you can’t afford or get to and from acupuncture or other treatments. Either way massages feel good 😊
Hello to everyone

Sometimes I can’t even remember what feeling normal is like. I’ve had a handful of days in the last 9 months where I wake up and feel fine and those days are a blessing and a curse. They feel so great, but reminds me of how’s shitty I feel the rest of the time. I personally don’t mind the SE’s whatever they may be as long as I can have more time with my loved ones. I’m too chicken to say ‘bring it on’ however I’m not far from that sentiment. It doesn’t get tiring though.
Maybe we can keep track and accumulate ‘vacation’ time. For every 1 bad day you put in you get 30 good ones in the future 😁 cash in the karma!

Parry~Spoken like a CEO or something lol my good days are very far and few between. But when they do happen it also makes me really sad because I was such an athlete. Worked out at the gym 5 out of 7 days for two hours each day. I loved it. It made me feel empowered and strong. It made me feel alive and like I was on top of my own life in the best shape possible. Then the lump appeared. Two docs said it was a cyst. Makes me really mad. I’ll sign up for vacation time!
Much love ~M~

I wasn’t in good shape and I didn’t eat well. Now that I eat very strictly and want to be active it is so much harder than it would have been. Cancer doesn’t discriminate, but I can imagine it sucks more when you were doing the right things before.
My partner has a pool in the gym he goes to (health has become a top priority for obvious reasons) that I was thinking of using when he goes. The low impact activity I think could help a lot. Plus it’s nice just being in the water. Only downside is he goes in at 4am! I’m a strong believer that people shouldn’t have to be require to be a functioning awake person before 6am...8am if you can swing it, haha.

Parry~I feed the dogs at 7:00 because I have too, then I have one cup of coffee, then usually back to bed. Wake up drink water, watch tv and then nap.i could tell you every crack in the wall, ceiling, you name it. I find when I sleep it's peaceful for me. Only one time in my dreams I had cancer. All the others I didn't have cancer anymore. That's why I enjoy sleeping. The flip side is feeling like a bee inside a jar. First I had the flu, then my recon surgery... then I had a local anesthetic procedure, remove a fat necrosis and three adhesions from my liver scar. After recovering from all of that. The bridal shower came.. then it was preparing for the reception. Then after the reception I got sick again. Recovered from the sinus infection and then this last Sunday was scalded by hot butter while out to dinner with close friends. Then Friday I fall flat on my face on my way to my friends funeral and received some good swelling, and bruising like whiplash. It's been rough, it worrries me. I'm getting clumsy. I don't like curbs or concrete at all. I'm glad my teeth made it ! Or I didn't break anything. Hopefully my bones are still strong... much love ~M~

Trying to catch up on everything! We are a busy bunch! MJH and Tanya, your pictures are beautiful! Very sorry to hear about Magda, seems like everything was very fast. Micmel, very sorry for the loss of your friend and even sorrier that you had a bad fall. Looks very painful! Will see the urologist on Monday and maybe get some information about what’s going on. I feel pretty good and the stent is not bothersome at this time. Still trying to climb out of the funk, I read every day but not posting much.. don’t want to drag anyone down. Waving hi to everyone!!!0
-
Lynnwood~Hello beautiful. Funk or no funk we love you anyway! We all have the funk days weeks or months. I’m very glad to see you. Thanks for the well wishes with my fall. I’m just clumsy for sure, but the neuropathy seems to be accumulating each month. In your pocket for your appointment! Much love ~M~

............my puppers really does like his new bed that I got for him. I am realizing it’s because it is getting cold at nighttime, so he really does like to curl up. It’s rather cute. Dogs are so spoiled...

...here is the other old man sleeping on his bed. The warmth is what they look for. It's been getting really cold, tonight we have a frost warning in our counties surrounding us. I Iike to keep the heat Set lower so it's not too warm. I sleep better when it's cooler. Sleep well ladies.
Still waiting Gracie.
Much love ~M~
