hello I have to start AC chemo in a few weeks. I’m so scared by the reputation it has. I’m terrified of nausea as I’m emetephobic. I’m just finishing my taxol , carboplatinum 12 weeks. I’m hoping there are some positive stories .
Hi, I finished 8 out of 12 Taxol and the first 4 A/C. At first the treatments were not awful, I have to say. Actually, I felt A/C was easier than the Taxol. I was diagnosed with Stage 2 non invasive ductal carcinoma in March 2025 at 35 years old. I completed 12 weekly rounds of chemo but rounds 9-12 caused me to have fevers and loose strength every week. I have to do an urgent chemo, Caelyx ( I will explain more in the "metastasis to liver" section). I have an urgent question: I read many studies that state it is better to fast before and after chemo. Is that correct? Thank you
Starting chemo tomorrow and wondering which one you recommend for bone pain? I’ve read from some that they recommend regular Claritin but the nurse mentioned Zyrtec was the drug used in the study. She didn’t discredit Claritin however thoughts?
Hi all, I've just started the Taxol phase of AC-T chemo and am suffering night sweats, sometimes three times a night. I went into menopause 20 years ago following my first episode of breast cancer, so I've been post-menopausal for a long time. No night sweats at all then. I'm not on any anti-hormone Rx - just the Taxol.…
