Why chemo?
Hi! I'm pretty new around here. I am in the midst of the thumb-twiddling days of waiting for my MRI and genetic testing results to come in prior to my 2/9/23 surgery date. I'm definitely having a mastectomy of my left breast. I might end up going for DMX. Still not sure. Here's my question. If I end up having no lymph node…

Shall I do additional Adriamycin after neoadjuvant TC?
Hello Everybody, I originally posted to stage II forum, but I think it might be more relevant here. I was diagnosed with ER+ PR+ HER2- grade 2 IDC+DCIS with a positive node via biopsy/image. I did neoadjuvant TCx4 followed by Umx. While the tumor and positive node both shrank a bit, there is still a lot of residue cancer…

Forgo chemo because of existing health issues?
I had my second appt. with my oncologist today. During my first appt. he recommended the AC-T cocktail. Even though I'm terrified, I was pretty much prepared to tell him today that I was going to go ahead with that and schedule my first round. I told him that I don't know how I'm going to get through chemo though due to my…

Walking barefoot and neuropathy?
I am just starting chemo and notice that some people have written that one should not walk barefoot. I'm not sure this is because walking barefoot hurts if you develop a neuropathy in your feet or because walking barefoot can contribute to or exacerbate existing neuropathies. I'm grateful for an insights. Thanks.

Just really sad
I am mourning today I think. Had my first chemo session a little over three weeks ago and it went fine. Five and a half hours after taking my steroid I suddenly developed stroke like…
