Port
I just finished chemo and am trying to figure out if I want my port removed. Initially I wanted it out ASAP but then my nurse and oncologist said that I would be having blood work done every 3-6 months for now and it might be worth it to keep it in. I would appreciate hearing how long other people kept theirs in

Why chemo?
Hi! I'm pretty new around here. I am in the midst of the thumb-twiddling days of waiting for my MRI and genetic testing results to come in prior to my 2/9/23 surgery date. I'm definitely having a mastectomy of my left breast. I might end up going for DMX. Still not sure. Here's my question. If I end up having no lymph node…

Walking barefoot and neuropathy?
I am just starting chemo and notice that some people have written that one should not walk barefoot. I'm not sure this is because walking barefoot hurts if you develop a neuropathy in your feet or because walking barefoot can contribute to or exacerbate existing neuropathies. I'm grateful for an insights. Thanks.
