Ear pressure on TCHP
Hi everyone! I’m a lurker on this group and am so thankful for all of the help I’ve gotten as I go through treatment. Did anyone have ear pressure issues on chemo? I’ve had what feels like clogged ears for the past month nonstop and it’s driving me nuts. 🤣😩 I can still hear fine, nothing sounds muffled, it’s just pressure…

Anyone on just Taxotere and Cytoxan?
I just started a regimen of taxotere and cytoxan for four rounds. I really need to talk to someone who has been on just this regimen. My first session did not go well. It dropped my sodium levels too low and I had a couple of seizures. They kept me in the hospital for two nights. I have been achey and weak since. Does it…

Welcome to the "New Oncotype DX Roll Call"! moodyk13 started this thread when she was looking for some help with her oncotype score and discovered that many people want advice or info regarding this test that so many of our oncologists use to help us make treatment decisions. She very generously built it to what it is now…

Stubble Head
Strange question. I had my head shaved 2 weeks after my first TC-H chemo when my hair started falling out in clumps. I’ve had 2 more treatments since and my hair “stubble” is still just like it was after clipping. Stubbly, prickly, pulling my scarves all over my head. Is this normal? Will this stubble eventually fall out…

Severe depression after finishing treatment
I finished 6 months of chemo and had double mastectomy with reconstruction almost 4 months ago(very end of February) for TNBC. I had pCr… Since then I deal with adrenal insufficiency caused by Keytruda/Pembrolizumab and went few times at the ER for low Na levels. But in the aftermath, the most horrific is the depression…

“Last” chemo feelings
Hello everyone who has finished chemo! It’s my last chemo in a few weeks. I know I should be happy after five months of it but I’m having a hard time thinking/believing it’s the “end” of this particular treatment (my surgery is in July) - I feel I have a bullseye on my back, it’s going to get me again (various “bad”…

Port Placement
Hi all, I was hoping to hear other peoples’ experiences on having their port put in. I recently had mine put in and it was not a great experience for me. I knew I’d be in a “twilight” state, but I was told I wouldn’t feel or remember anything. However, I felt quiet a bit and was feeling a little panicked during the…

Port
I just finished chemo and am trying to figure out if I want my port removed. Initially I wanted it out ASAP but then my nurse and oncologist said that I would be having blood work done every 3-6 months for now and it might be worth it to keep it in. I would appreciate hearing how long other people kept theirs in
