Not diagnosed, waiting for results
I have never posted in anything like this before. I was given a BI RADS 5 rating with an axillary lymph node with 7mm cortical thickening. There’s zero family history, I’m 45 years old, I’ve never had an unusual test result before and other than a few extra pounds I am very healthy. This time I felt a lump but it came out…

Itchy chest wall 2 yrs after reconstruction
I had double mastectomy with immediate reconstruction after previous DCIS lumpectomy and recurrent cancer in both breasts. I wanted my original C cup, but ended up with D cups (go big or go home surgical approach?). The extra weight is not fun, and the chest wall itching started after year one. What helps me the most is…

Been on xeloda for about 4-5 months now and had my first scan, which showed significant improvement in all areas except for two stupid little bone mets. It worked in my lungs, liver, every other bone, aside from these 2 (one spot on hip and one in femur)…

Third time unlucky Stage 4
I had my first diagnosis and treatment for breast cancer in 1994 when I was living in the US. I had a lumpectomy, chemo and radiation. I was cured! and we never looked back. In 2017 my mammogram showed a reoccurrence in the same sight. By this time I had moved permanently to the UK. I had been widowed and still grieving…

Scared and Worried
I have just been diagnosed with an Invasive Ductal Carcinoma which resulted in also being a Triple Negative Breast Cancer. I will be seeing my oncologist for the first time on Monday. Not sure what to expect, the information out there seems to be a little scary. Any thoughts with the same problem as me. Thanks.

30 years later.
I had breast cancer in my left breast when I was 27. Last year I was diagnosed again on my right breast at 57. I couldn’t believe it. Now after the expander's didn’t take and then my body rejected the implant as well. This was hell for me.. invading my body 3 times. This time around I felt like cattle. Come in and out no…

Fentanyl nausea
Dears, how are you dealing with fentanyl nausea? The patch (smalledst dose patch) gave me the most horrible nause and vomiting I had in my life, way worse than chemo, had to remove the patch after a few hours. The pills form didn’t cause such crippling reaction, but still caused nausea and vomiting.

Weight Loss--Wegovy or Alternatives?
Hello everyone. I finished Kadcyla back in April and have been on Anastrozole for almost a year. (By the way I'm triple positive and probably need to update my profile since I haven't posted in a while). Anyway, after chemo, 4 surgeries (including removing my ovaries), targeted treatment, and all the trauma over the past…

I have autoimmune diseases
I’ve just been diagnosed and have serious concerns about chem if I need it. Not sure if I’ll be able to continue those meds or not, if not then do those symptoms go hog wild. I would be sick from the chemo and sick from the Sjogrens. Then there’s the osteoporosis, will the chemo make that worse and can I continue with…

Finish Line Scanxiety
I have an appointment with my MO on 25 September. I have to get blood work done several weeks ahead of time to make sure all the results are in for the appointment, so I’m planning to do that on 1 September. This should be my final 6 month check up and if my blood work looks good, it will mean 3 years in remission, which…

Removal of other breast
I had right mastectomy in January for grade 2 ILC. 90mm. Clear nodes. I had a reduction of left breast. Histology of left breast tissue showed Classical lobular carcinoma in situ. Single or part of a couple? How different is the Stage IV journey?
Pure curiosity. I’m single. It seems as though the majority on here are coupled up but perhaps I’ve misread. Not a pity party, I promise. I just wonder if anyone else is going through this with friends and (adult or younger) children rather than a partner, and how they feel about it?

Menstrual Cycle while on Anastrozole and Zoldex 1 Year
I've been on daily anastrolzole and monthly injections of Zoladex for one year and I just started a period. I'm almost 45 so I wasn't menopausal prior to starting treatment. I'm a little anxious as you can imagine, since the drugs should have me in induced menopause. Anyone else have this happen to them?

To make it short. My daughter unfortunately had BC dx in her 20's, and passed away years later. My other 2 daughters, now in their early 30's have been doing Mamos/Sono and 6 months later MRI. We were all checked for mutations but they showed all negative. Including my other daughter. Now my daughters are getting anxious…
