Bone lesion with no lymph node involvement
Hi everyone, I was diagnosed with invasive lobular breast cancer (ER+/PR+/HER2-) in January 2024. My oncologist says it’s closer to luminal A than B, with a Ki-67 ranging from 10% to 40%. I went through chemo, which reduced my tumor by about 80%, and had a quadrantectomy with clear surgical margins and negative lymph…

Developing Asymmetry
I have a 3 week wait until my breast MRI and feeling nervous after mammogram showed developing asymmetry with dense breast tissue and ultrasound showed no sonographic correlate. I feel a definite mass on that side so I am confused that ultrasound showed nothing. I’ve also had once instance of bleeding from that nipple.

Stage 4 with peritoneal carcinamatosis (sp)
After 14 years my cancer came back with a vengeance. I didn't want chemo again but they convinced me to try abema and an aromatase inhibitor. It's not too bad so far. My biggest problem is that I live with a narcissist and I'm tired of fighting for my needs or even my wants. They say this regimen could give me 2-5 years. I…

I will be starting on Gemzar next week. I cannot find any recent postings about this drug. My Oncologist said other than…

Life After Hysterectomy, Mastectomy and Anastzole
A little back story. I was diagnosed at the age of 41 with ER+ Invasive Ductal Carcinoma in 2018. I had a lumpectomy, 33 radiation treatments and then took Tamoxifen religiously for 4 years. Just when I was starting to feel back to myself and like I had this thing beat, I found out almost 4 years to the day that it came…

Concerned about possible symptoms
I had a radical double mastectomy in 2015, tissue expander, and the swap a year later. The last few months I've had sharp pain in the whole region, different areas. Very brief and mild but frequent and unexplained. I don't know what normally happens after reconstruction, long term. Has anyone had this experience? I also…

Seeking Advice on Breast Reconstruction After TNBC Recurrence
Hello everyone, I was initially diagnosed with triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) 11 years ago and underwent treatment at that time. DCIS stage 0 grade 3 ER + Lumpectomy and Radiation, clean lymph nodes
The Dr. gave me the choice lumpectomy or mastectomy. As she said it was caught early and still inside the duct I picked lumpectomy. diagnosis and treatment
My diagnosis is Invasive Ductal Carcinoma Grade 2. Saw my surgical oncologist today who said because of size of mass and calcifications all around it he would do mysectomy of my right breast. I am fine with that. Ready to get the ball rolling! Haven’t got my HER2 results back yet. Waiting on that to see if I will need…

Stamina and fatigue four months after treatment?
I feel like I went through a year that has certainly taken it's toll. Chemo, radiation and then Herceptin. It has been four months since I did the last Herceptin but as I look back I felt like I dealt with each modality better with more energy last year when I was going through treatment. Before all this (and I am older) I…

Recurrence after 12 years (even with BMX)
I was diagnosed and treated for ILC Stage 2b 12 years ago. Had BMX and took Tamox and AI for about 6 years. I was told 1-2% chance of recurrence in chest wall, etc. Low and behold, a lump under my arm on original BC side. Biopsy confirmed not a lymph node but ILC tumor. Surgeon planning to remove tumor and potentially do…

Waiting on Biopsy results
Happy Monday all - So I had my core biopsy today for my BIRADS 4 mass. It was up as a hypoechoic mass or complicated cyst. Biopsy pulled solid components, no fluid for needle aspiration. Appearance after bilateral mastectomy
I had a bilateral mastectomy about six weeks ago, without reconstruction. I can't get used to the bizarre lumps all around and on where my breasts used to be. Hello. I was treated for stage T1cN1aM0 triple positive starting in March 2015 with lumpectomy, TCH chemo and left-side radiation including a 'boost' to the axillary.
