1QT.2024 My TM CA-15-3 went up. I am very nervous. I just started Elacestrant its my 2nd week and i am getting mixed messages here about that it causes spikes in tumormarkers activity for some patients and not so much for others. I was taken off my previous meds Kisqali+Letrozole on Jan 5th after PET scan that showed new…

Anyone in the Bay Area?
Hi everyone, I’m 30 and recently diagnosed with breast cancer. I desperately need community that understands what this is like. I have a wonderful support system that I’m beyond grateful for, but I’m hoping to meet people in my area that can relate to this on a personal level. Sending everyone warm hugs.

Hypersensitive skin/nerves after mastectomy
Hi, I am new to the forum, so I apologize if the question has been asked and answered in the past. I had a double mastectomy 7 weeks ago (no recon) and the second week after it I started experiencing a strange kind of pain in the upper chest area and armpits. It feels like a bad sunburn being rubbed over with sandpaper. It…

When positive thinking doesn't work !
I am two weeks post surgery and I know I am incredibly lucky - with cancer diagnosed very early, isolated to one breast and nothing in the lymph nodes, I am counting my blessings every day. Up to now I have managed to remain positive, positive thinking, healthy diets, entertaining an endless stream of visitors and…

So I started my breast cancer journey just 3 months ago. I went for my first mammogram and within 1 month I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Recurrence and Now Down the Rabbit Hole
I was dx in 2011 with IDC ER+PR+Her2-. It was in the left breast around 1.2cm. I had a lumpectomy, chemo (TCx4) and rads. I couldn't tolerate Tamoxifen so I took Aspirin each day as the theory back then was it could keep inflammation down and possibly ER+ away. So here I am 13 years later and my mammo showed I now have 2…

Is this normal? The aftercare instructions didn’t say anything about itching. I had an mri guided biopsy and a stereotactic biopsy and…
