I have waited for these symptoms to "pass" but now it's pretty clear they never will. My nightly routine is horrible…

Life does not end with a stage IV diagnosis (really!)
Our sister, kayrnic, started a thread celebrating being 2 years (hooray!) out from her stage IV dx. I was thinking along those same lines when I read her post. So often, those newly dx'ed stage IV, think they've been handed an immediate death sentence and panic or plunge into some very dark places. This is understandable,…

New Implants - Not Satisfied
Hi. I had my exchange from expanders to implants 1 week ago. I can honestly say that I was happier with the look of my expanders. There is little to no projection with my implants and I have my post-op appointment tomorrow. I've done what research I know to do, but is anyone else in the same boat? I know there was a huge…

Hello Everyone, I was just wondering if anyone shared towels with your husband and young children after more than a year of radiation therapy treatment. I did share with my kid sometimes, especially things like going to the beach or pools or accidentally using mine when he finished showering. So, is that fine? Thank You!

Surgery for newly diagnosed stage 4 MBC?
Hey there. Newly diagnosed with stage 4 MBC ER+PR+HER-, multiple spots in lungs. When the lump was first discovered the expectation was that it was curable as there was no spread and the lymph nodes looked clean - that all changed with the PET scan. So…question: The only option offered now is hormone treatment, but the…

Flap Reconstruction - Decisions
Hello all! I was diagnosed in 2012 and had a mastectomy with TE/implant reconstruction. In November, I had a biopsy (benign 🙏) on three tiny bumps on the reconstucted breast. Focal Asymmetry?
I’m turning 60 this month and had my yearly mammogram this morning. It said “possible focal asymmetry” 8cm from left nipple upper quadrant. No other suspicious findings. No idea what this is. I don’t feel a lump. So I go for another mammogram on Thursday and US if needed. Obviously a little worried.

Tamoxifen dosages - anyone with IDC do 5mg?
I recently got a hold of my doctor's notes for each follow-up I had with him since 2019. I reviewed everything, and saw how my dosing of Tamoxifen was all over the place.
