Radiation & tamoxifen - necessary...?
Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate hearing from others in a similar situation. I’m in my early 40s, no kids, not close to menopause, and recently had a lumpectomy for a 12 mm, grade 1, ER+/PR+ HER2- IDC (plus a small area of DCIS). Margins were clear, and there was no lymph node involvement. My Ki-67 is low (10%), and I’ve…

Biozorb Marker Removal
Can you point me to a specific plastic surgeon that was willing to remove a recalled biozorb marker? My mom is anxious about hers remaining in her body but has struck out with local plastic surgeons being willing to remove it. I would love to compile a list of clinicians I can bring to her to connect with! Thank you so…

Checking on a website to order from
I hope it is okay that I am asking about a website. I am thinking of ordering something from survivorroom.com, but don't know anything about them except what I see on their website. I can't find any reviews about them outside of their website. They look legit and I will probably give it a try, but I am doing my due…

Anyone with ONLY lung mets, E+, her2+?
Going through a lengthy incidentally found pulmonary nodule diagnostic journey (8 mm, low avidity on PET, nothing else lit up). It was found on a cardiac CT for high LDL (perfect score, no statin 🤪). Followup CT to prep for biopsy says nodule most likely benign but a few additional micronodules were found, scattered in my…

Radiation is much harder than I anticipated!
Just finished 5 days…and have 5 more weeks to look forward to. After day 2, I met with my radiologist and she told me to start using the Miaderm because I'm already getting redness and swelling. After day 5 I feel like my breast is on fire and my sternum hurts when I touch it. Any favorite go-tos for relief?

Single-Breasted Photo Shoot
My DH took some amazing pictures of me and my AFC. I'm striving to help normalize women going flat. It's an option that too many are shamed away from.

We have no history of breast cancer in the family as far as we know, however the Dr's told my mum that they could see that her cancer had developed from her ovaries…

Tamoxifen Holiday?
Hello all, I have been on T for 19 months. Never missed a dose and have very mild side effects. All of a sudden, it's like I can't think. I'm totally lethargic, exhausted always — it's like my body is an alien, and all I want to do is sleep or watch TV. I've been pushing through for three weeks and reached out to my…
