It's OK - No Surgery, No Chemo
Hi Community I haven't found this topic yet, so here's a start (if it's too long, I apologise in advance): I'm in Stg IV with the HER2 cancer growing from the right breast, and first discovered a grape-size lump in Aug 2018. I couldn't get a biopsy until June 2019 (SSA had cut SSI funds), directly before which my PCN said…

Anastrazole
hello! I’m supposed to start anastrazole but I suffered a fall and broke my tailbone. I’m wondering if anastrazole will slow the healing time for the fracture? Has anyone experienced that or heard of that? Also, I just got hot flashes and night sweats and chemo induced foot neuropathy under some control and I’m honestly so…

LD Flap yes or no and why
I am new to this group. Due to a few failed previous surgeries. My plastic surgeon is recommending the LD flap. I’ve heard that you can lose a lot of strength. I’ve also heard there’s a lot of pain. Does anyone here have any experience good or bad? I would love to have your feedback!

Seriously? First IDC, then DCIS, now possible DCIS again.
Has anyone had multiple new DCIS primaries rather than recurrences? I had IDC in my left breast (treated with lumpectomy and radiation ) in 2011, DCIS in left breast (treated with left-side mastectomy) in 2021, and today my radiologist found new calcifications in my right breast. I'm having a biopsy on Wednesday. She…

Swollen lymph nodes below collarbone
Doing the waiting game again. 3 yrs ago I found 3 masses, all came back benign but one area did have microcalcifications. And they wanted to watch it in 6 more months. At 6 months, I went to a breast clinic, and right from the start they made it clear that I was "too young, and wasn't at risk". I was 34 with a history of…
