Testosterone Pellets. Anyone on them? Desperate for some answers!
I am 14yrs post ER/PR stage one. My doc says I'm low on testosterone, and that is the reason for all my symptoms in menopause. He suggested the pellet and feels it is safe but I am so scared to try it! No Dr I've reached out to has said either way, just "no data to help us'. Hoping some people hear have had good guidance,…

Recurrence after 12 years (even with BMX)
I was diagnosed and treated for ILC Stage 2b 12 years ago. Had BMX and took Tamox and AI for about 6 years. I was told 1-2% chance of recurrence in chest wall, etc. Low and behold, a lump under my arm on original BC side. Biopsy confirmed not a lymph node but ILC tumor. Surgeon planning to remove tumor and potentially do…

Pain with tissue expanders two weeks post double mastectomy
hi all - I had a skin saving double mastectomy two weeks ago and at the one week follow up the nurse said “you look pretty full” and saw that the PS filled one at 450 and the other at 400. After the one week appointment, as the surgery swelling went down, I started getting sharp pains at the bottom of my left chest, by the…

Risk of Hunched Back following Double Mastectomy without Reconstruction?
A few months ago I found out that I have a couple of different additional risk factors for breast cancer and I had a lumpectomy to remove some calcifications containing atypical cells. My doctor is recommending chemoprevention medication and observation. But in the middle of dealing with these breast issues I had a routine…

Waiting on Biopsy results
Happy Monday all - So I had my core biopsy today for my BIRADS 4 mass. It was up as a hypoechoic mass or complicated cyst. Biopsy pulled solid components, no fluid for needle aspiration. I’m stuck in the waiting game - but the doctor performing the biopsy said the likelihood of cancer was low, but couldn’t narrow down what…

Upper back/shoulder blade pain / Chest CT & CT angiogram
Last year, I went through TC chemo and then 30 doses of full chest, armpit radiation. During radiation, I developed a weird feeling in my back, directly behind my affected breast. It's near the bottom if my scalpula. If I squeeze my shoulder blades, there's discomfort in that area. During that time, I had a ct angiogram…

Unbearable, relentless pain after core biopsy and clips over 20-years ago.
3mg Iverheal which is 12 mg Ivermectin, has cured, ended, the searing pain I've endured, on and off, after a breast biopsy 20-years ago. I did not have cancer. "Calcium deposit." It has been 12-months since I took the Ivermectin. One dose. I can arrive at no other conclusion, at this moment. All the women describing their…

Reconstruction?
I am 56 years old, and I am going to have a mastectomy on my left breast soon, but I am considering going flat. I just want to get the surgery done, recover, get through any cancer treatments, and see how I feel. I don't want to have to worry about a longer surgery time, multiple surgeries and/or complications. Is there…

Appearance after bilateral mastectomy
I had a bilateral mastectomy about six weeks ago, without reconstruction. I can't get used to the bizarre lumps all around and on where my breasts used to be. One scar seems deeply embedded; both scars look rough and bumpy. Is this normal? My surgeon is unconcerned and said it could take up to six months for things to…

Her2+ treatment and latent cardiac dysfunction/abnormal GLS
Hello. I was treated for stage T1cN1aM0 triple positive starting in March 2015 with lumpectomy, TCH chemo and left-side radiation including a 'boost' to the axillary. No recurrence to date, thankfully. My oncologist states my lifelong risk for a recurrence at 2%. I have had inherited mildly high cholesterol, now in…

BRCA2 but no family history of breast cancer
So my Mum had peritoneal cancer and found out she had the BRCA2 alteration. That's how I have just found out that I have inherited it through genetic testing. We have no history of breast cancer in the family as far as we know, however the Dr's told my mum that they could see that her cancer had developed from her ovaries…

Breast recon/implants -Successful Stories after Radiation
I wanted to find out if there were any success stories on this topic/procedure: Recentently I went to a PS . 4.5 years ago I had a lumpectomy, chemo and radiation. Breast MRI Results
It’s weird to be posting here for myself. I’ve been on this site for 1.5 years as I’ve been supporting my sister since she was diagnosed with MBC. But today I am posting for myself. Had a breast MRI yesterday. My PCP ordered it because of my sister having clear mammograms prior to her dx, and my having dense breast tissue…

Anyone on Piqray?
I’ve been on Ribociclib/Faslodex tx for liver mets since July 2023. Recent MRI indicated several new liver lesions. I’m rather disappointed that the above tx only last 15 months. Going to start Piqray this week. I’m concerned about the side effects of hyperglycemia and diarrhea. could you please share your experience on…

Interpreting Results
Hellooooo! My name is Jules, and I'm in the Waiting stages of this journey. Noticed a lump about 7-8 weeks ago, found by provider on exam for confirmation, and I've had my diagnostic mammo and ultrasound last week, biopsy scheduled for this coming Monday. As someone who works in healthcare, I have - of course - tried to…

What is your favorite neuropathy lotion for painful feet?
Hi, I'm on my second round of taxol and carboplatin. This second round has made my toes more numbing and painful, hard-to-walk feet in the morning. I use Epsom-it, an Epsom concentrate for nerve pain, Epsom salt soaks. Ice therapy socks during chemo., which I still can't figure out how long to keep them on my feet during…

Internal mammary node involvement.... anyone??!!
Ahhh! I have been driving myself crazy thinking and worrying about this the last week and not finding much information. I’m looking for someone that has or had internal mammary node involvement.
