Eye Issues on Herceptin or Kadcyla?
Hello All, I was originally on Herceptin/Perjeta for HER2 positive cancer, but switched to Kadcyla after lumpectomy revealed some residual disease left. I now have Retinal pigment epithelial detachment (PED) which is a common manifestation in macular degeneration. While I am 61, I've never had any issues with my eyes and…

Side Effects After Stopping Tamoxifen (Weight Gain?)
Hi all, for some reason, I started thinking about what happens when I get off the Tamoxifen. I still have 2 years to go but of course, they are recommending the 10. Hey, 50-60% reduction of recurrence is great for 5 years, but 3-4% for the next 5, no thanks. I have the brain fuzziness, memory problems. I've had the joint…

Tamoxifen and migraine meds
Does anyone on tamoxifen take prescription medication for migraines? I was recently given a sample of ubrelvy by a neurologist for headaches but just read online tamoxifen can increase med levels because it’s metabolized by a cyp3a pathway. Any experience with this drug or another migraine treatment that doesn’t interfere?

Any diabetics demand steroid alternative due to glucose impact?
I had my first chemotherapy on Thursday. That evening my glucose shot over 200. Today it's yo-yoing. When I asked about steroids raising glucose, all the oncologist basically said was just that I would have to manage my glucose closely. To me, that means no more steroids. I'd rather have the nausea, thanks. Definitely…

Shoulder dysfunction after treatment
Hello all, I finished my last radiation treatment on April 27 and promptly dislocated my right shoulder (the side where I had my mastectomy and radiation) in the hospital parking lot when a car backed up and tapped my hip (seriously didn't hit hard enough to justify the word hit). At first I seemed to be recovering well,…

Who here has had a Non-Mass Enhancement show up on MRI but not correspond on Mammo or Ultrasound? Did you still have it biopsied? What did it end up being? US Biopsy Complete, Made to Delay Skin Biopsy
